User reviews are valuable information that can be used for various purposes. In particular, the product reviews on online shopping sites are important information which can directly affect the purchasing decision of the customers. In this paper, we present our design and implementation of a system for summarizing the customer's opinion and the features of each product by analyzing reviews on a commercial shopping site. During the analysis process, several natural language processing(NLP) techniques and the semantic dictionary were used. The semantic dictionary contains vocabularies that are used to express product features and customer's opinions. And it was constructed in semi-automatic way with the help of the tool we implemented. Furthermore, we discuss how to handle the vocabularies that have different meanings according to the context. We analyzed 1796 reviews about 20 products of 2 categories collected from an actual shopping site and implemented a novel ranking system. We obtained 88.94% for precision and 47.92% for recall on extracting opinion expression, which means our system can be applicable for real use.

This paper suggests a 6-pulse-shift converter structure with PWM current-source inverter based on buck-boost configuration to improve the efficiency and to reduce the switching frequency of inverter for photovoltaic generation system, the device can be operated as interface system between solar module system and power system grid without energy storage cell. The circuit has six current-source buck-boost converter which operate chopper part and kas one full bridge inverter which make a decision the polarity of AC output. Therefore, the proposed PWM power inverter has advantages such as the reduction of witching loss and realization of unity power factor operation. The theoretical backgrounds are discussed and the input-output characteristics for the implemented prototype inverter using TMS320F2812 are verified experimentally in this paper.

Lightning warning system plays an important role in protecting human life and other facilities from lightning return strokes. This paper dealt with lightning positioning algorithms and circuits as a main function of lightning warning system, which monitor movements and activities of thunderclouds. Electric field component produced by lightning discharge is detected by the configuration of a whip antenna and a narrow-band resonance amplifier with center frequency of 300[kHz]. Measurement circuit of magnetic field waveform consists of a crossed-loop coil and an integral amplifier, and its frequency bandwidth is ranges from 5[kHz] to 1.2[MHz]. The polarity of lightning discharge is discriminated by electric field component. After-fixing the polarity, we can calculate the direction and distance of lightning discharge by the peak and the zero-cross time of magnetic field waveform.

In this paper, characteristics of the ac and dc flashover voltage in the horizontal air gap of a needle-needle electrode system were investigated when the combustion flame was present near the high-voltage electrode. In order to examine the flashover phenomena and the corona inception voltages caused by flame we measured the voltage and current waveforms when the corona and the flashover was occurred. We also observed, as increasing the applied voltages, the deflection or fluctuation phenomena in the shape of flames caused by the corona wind and the coulomb's force. As the results of an experimental investigation, we found that the reduction of flashover voltages, in comparison with the no-flame case, are 62.7[%] for k=1.0, 34.2[%] for h=5[cm], 27.3[%] for h=7[cm] and 21.4[%] for h=9[cm] when ac voltage is applied.

We propose a novel contact-free transportation system in which an axial electrodynamic wheel is applied as an actuator. When the electrodynamic wheel is partially overlapped by a fixed conductive plate and rotates over it, three-axis magnetic forces are generated on the wheel. Among these forces, those in the gravitational direction and the lateral direction are inherently stable. Therefore, only the force in the longitudinal direction needs to be controlled to guarantee spatial stability of the wheel. The electrodynamic wheel consists of permanent magnets that are repeated and polarized periodically along the circumferential direction. The basic geometric configuration and the pole number of the wheel influence the stability margin of a transportation system, which would include several wheels. The overlap region between the wheel and the conductive plate is a dominant factor affecting the stiffness in the lateral direction. Therefore, sensitivity analysis for the major parameters of the wheel mechanism was performed using a finite element tool. The system was manufactured based on the obtained design values, and the passive stability of a moving object with the wheels was verified experimentally.

In this study, the electric and magnetic fields measuring system were designed and fabricated to investigate the electric characteristics of lightning discharges. Frequency bandwidth of electric field measuring system ranges from 40[Hz] to 2.6[MHz] and its response characteristic is 2.1[(V/m)/mV]. Frequency bandwidth of magnetic field measuring system ranges from 300[Hz] to 1[MHz] and its response characteristic is 2.8[nT/mV]. Electric and magnetic fields due to intracloud lightning discharges were observed and their waveform parameters were statistically analyzed. As a result, waveform parameters of electric and magnetic fields are nearly independent of polarity. The mean rise times and the zero-crossing times of electric and magnetic fields are approximately $5.5[{\mu}s]\;and\;21[{\mu}s]$, respectively.

A linguistic element found in a movie, dialogue, plays a critical role in building up narrative structure. Still, analyses conducted on movies mostly focus on images due to the nature of a movie that conveys a story through its visual images while dialogue has either been underestimated or received less spotlight despite their importance. This study highlights the significance of lines in a movie. This study calls attention to dialogue, which has stayed out of the main focus and been on the periphery thus far when analyzing movies, so as to see how they contribute to constructing a narrative. It then spotlights the significance of dialogue in the movie. To this end, the study sorts out emotional expressions articulated by actors through their dialogues then to make polarity classification into affirmation and negation, followed by a quantitative analysis of how the polarity proportion of emotional expressions changes depending on the narrative structure. The study also suggests a narrative's relevance with emotions by pointing to dynamic emotional changes that shift between affirmation and negation depending on incidents, conflicts and resolution thereof throughout a movie.

Social Network Service has the sufficient potential can be widely and effectively used for various fields of society because of convenient accessibility and definite user opinion. Above all Twitter has characteristics of simple and open network formation between users and remarkable real-time diffusion. However, real analysis is accompanied by many difficulties because of semantic analysis in 140-characters, the limitation of Korea natural language processing and the technical problem of Twitter is own restriction. This thesis paid its attention to human's political attitudes showing permanence and assumed that if applying it to the analytic design, it would contribute to the increase of precision and showed it through the experiment. As a result of experiment with Tweet corpus gathered during the election of national assemblymen on 11st April 2012, it could be known to be considerably similar compared to actual election result. The precision of 75.4% and recall of 34.8% was shown in case of individual Tweet analysis. On the other hand, the performance improvement of approximately 8% and 5% was shown in by-timeline political attitude analysis of user.

Effects of ground tire rubber(GTR) and unexpanded $Expancel^{(R)}$ powders on the thermal conducting characteristics of rigid polyurethane foams(PUFs) were studied. Sub-micron sized GTR powders and $Expancel^{(R)}$ powders were used as the foam nucleating agents to improve the thermal insulating properties of the rigid PUFs. As the results, while the thermal conductivities of the GTR filled-PUF samples were increased linearly with GTR contents, those of $Expancel^{(R)}$ filled-PUF samples were decreased a little bit. It was considered from the results that GTR powders might predominantly play a role as the extending fillers. On the other hand, $Expancel^{(R)}$ powders could act as the foam nucleating agents based on the polar surface, showing smaller cell sized PUF with improved insulating characteristics.
