Total polar lipid produced from the soybean oil and lard by heating with different surface area at $185^{\circ}C$ were measured by silica gel column chromatography. Further, the polar lipid was fractionated by high performance size exclusion chromatography-evaporative light scattering detector (HPSEC-ELSD). The HPSEC system was composed of two GPC columns $(100\;{\AA}\;and\;500\;{\AA})$ and a THF mobile phase. With this system it was possible to fractionate into the free fatty acid, diglyceride, triglyceride monomer, triglyceride dimer and triglyceride polymers. The triglyceride monomer, triglyceride dimer and triglyceride polymers significantly increased as the heating time and surface area increased. But diglyceride and free fatty acid did not increased as the heating time and surface area increased. Triglyceride polymer (r>0.93), triglyceride dimer (r>0.97), triglyceride monomer (r>0.95) showed a high correlation with polar lipid content. On the other hand, diglyceride (r<0.68) and free fatty acid (r<0.76) were not significantly correlated with the polar lipid content. These results indicated that a major oxidative components formed during thermal oxidation were triglyceride polymers and triglyceride dimer and triglyceride monomer.

The correlations between chromatographic parameters of monosubstituted benzenes and several physical parameters in reversed phase liquid chromatography were studied. The relationships between retention data and polarity index were investigated by plotting $log(log k'_S/k'_B)$ vs. $P'_S/P'_B$ which were relative retention and relative polarity index of monosubstituted benzenes with respect to benzene, respectively. The linear relationship between relative retention and polarity index was observed for the monosubstituted benzenes having polar group, while in case of those having nonpolar group, the good linearity was observed by combination with relative molecular weight i.e. $(P'_S/P'_B)/(MW_S/MW_B)$. Multivariant regression analysis, $a(P'_S/P'_B)+b(MW_S/MW_B)$+c did not give significantly better correlations compared to single variant analysis, $a[(P'_S/P'_B)/(MW_S/MW_B)]$+c, but multiple stepwise regression analysis was recommended when several physical parameters simultaneously were chosen. The best correlation between retention data for monosubstituted benzenes taken from the literature and substituent constant(${\pi}$), derived from hydrophobic parameter and the first order molecular connectivity index$(^1{\chi}^{\nu})$, was established for methanol/water mobile phase system. The larger the surface coverage of the stationary phase, the higher was the correlation coefficient between these two parameters and retention data.

In this study, we measured the effects of UV protection efficiency of the polarity of oil, the type of emulsion, the viscosity of product, the type of thickener and light stabilizer in sunscreen. As a result, even higher polarity of the oil, UV protection efficiency is measured high (Butyloctyl salicylate: SPF 44.10, PA 7.93). In case of low, it was measured low conversely (Dimethicone: SPF 16.40, PA 5.57). In case of emulsion types, UV protection efficiency of W/O emulsion which organic sunscreen agent is based in the outer phase is measured higher than O/W emulsion. According to increasing of viscosity, UV protection efficiency tends to increase proportionally. However, the size of emulsion particles and the kinds of thickener has no effect to UV protection efficiency. Also light stabilizer was found to be an important factor affecting the UV protection efficiency. As a result, it is able to improve UV protection efficiency and it has potential which improve the economical effect of the sunscreen without increasing sunscreen agents.

The electronic spectra of enzyme-model organocobalt(Ⅲ) complexes containing completely or partially conjugated macrocyclic ligands were measured in various solvents to investigate the solvent effect on the charge transfer band for the axial cobalt-carbon bond by the extent of conjugation in the equatorial macrocyclic ring; completely conjugated, $CH_3CoL,\;C_6H_5CoL,\;CNCoL,\;CH_3CoL',\;CNCoL'$, partially conjugated $CH_3(py)Co(DH)_2, CH_3CoL＂$, unconjugated dienes, $[CH_3Co(1,4-CT)](ClO_4)_2$, and open ring, $CH_3Co(salen)$. The position of the charge transfer band which corresponds to the cobalt-carbon bond was shifted to a shorter wavelength as the polarity of solvent increased and the transition energy $(E_T)$ had a linear relationship with solvent polarity parameter, Z-value, only in the case of completely conjugated system. However, the linear correlation between $E_T$and Z was not observed for partially conjugated and open ring systems.

혁명과 퇴폐라는 양극적 문화형태는 어디까지나 중심이 아닌 주변문화의 형태인 것이다. 그렇다면 중심은 없고 주변문화만 왕성했던 지금까지의 청년문화는 어떤 방향에서 중심문화를 잡아나가야 할 것인가가 이제 과제가 된다. 중심 없는 주변문화의 극성은 청년문화의 실종인 동시에 우리 모든 문화의 구조적 취약점이다.

막바지 겨울 추위가 극성을 부렸던 지난 2월, 우리 협회 이사로 재직하시면서 에이즈 혈우병 환우를 위한 소송을 무료로 맡아주시면서 에이즈 감염인의 어려운 삶을 보듬어 주는 일에 앞장서 주시다가 작년에 국회에 등원한 보건복지가족위원회 전현희 의원을 만났다. 이제 더 넓은 분야에서 더 많은 소외된 분들을 대표하는 의미 있는 활동을 적극적으로 펼치실 것이라는 기대감에 국회로 찾아가는 발걸음이 가벼웠다.
