Radiation Characteristics of the Bianisotropic Superstrate-Loaded Microstrip Antenna on Cylindrical Bianisotropic Substrates (쌍이방성 기판에 쌍이방성 덮개층을 갖는 원통형 마이크로스트립안테나의 방사특성)

  • In this paper, the effects of superstrate on the radiation patterns of dipole on cylindrical bianisotropic subtrates were studied. Special constitutive relations are used to describe the bianisotropic properties of a material, such that the Green's function can be formulated. Electromagnetic fields and hounds conditions in spectral region were used to find Creen's function of the spectral representation and electromagnetic fields in space region were derived through inverse Fourier transformations of fields in spectral region using asymptotic formula for far zone. Radiation characteristics of axial Hertzian dipole on superstrate leaded cylindrical bianisotropic substrates were analyzed.

Analysis of Rectangular Ring Microstrip Antenna (사각 링 마이크로스트립 안테나 해석)

  • In this paper, a rectangular ring microstrip patch antenna has been analyzed by using desegmentation method and evaluation impedance matrices from Green's functions fur rectangular segment and desegmentation method for analysis of planar electro-magnetic structures is discussed. As the rectangular ring cavity could be seen as a structure subtracted a small rectangular cavity from a large one, the overall impedance matrix was obtained by applying a multiport connection method to the individual impedance matrices expressed as a term of Green's function fer rectangular segment. The electromagnetic fields can be solved from a vector potential which is satisfied it's eight boundary conditions. The electric field distribution at each edges was expressed as a histogram table with exciting modes. These results can be used to analyze the operational modes for a rectangular ring microstrip antennas.

  • 집속음장의 고조파성분을 이용한 초음파영상의 특성을 해석하기 위해 집속된 가우스 음원에 직선 edge를 초점면 및 초점면의 전, 후방에 삽입하여 edge의 후방에서 생성되는 음장을 조사하였다. 계산에서는 그린함수의 간단화를 위해 Fresnel근사를 이용하였고, 실험에서는 성형전극을 형성시킨 1.9MHz 요면진동자에 의한 가우스분포의 음장을 갖는 초음파빔에 수직하게 edge를 삽입시켰다. 음장의 이론해석 및 실험결과, 초점면의 제2고조파의 빔형상을 제외하고는 계산치와 실험치가 잘 일치하고 있으며, 제2고조파의 공간 분해능이 기본파에 비해 높음을 알았다.

  • So far, the closed-form Green's functions have been derived almost for th open microstrip structures. In the present study, closed-form Green's functions for a top-covered microstrip structure are derived. And an effect of top-cover is discussed in comparison with open structure.

  • 집속음장이 고조파성분을 이용한 초음파영상의 특성을 해석하는 초기단계로서 음축에 수직하게 놓인 강체판의 직선 edge가 집속 가우스빔을 회절시킨다고 가정하고, edge의 전후에서 발생하는 제 2고조파를 고려해서 회절음장을 해석하였다. 계산에서는 그린함수의 간단화를 위해 , Fresnel 근사를 이용하였고 실험에서는 성형전극을 형성시킨 요면 압전진동자에 의한 1.9MHz 집속가우스음원에 의해 만들어지는 초음파 빔에 수직하게 edge을 삽입시켰다. 회절 edge 후방에서 음장을 관측한 결과, 제 2고조파의 빔형상을 제외하고는 계산치와 실험치가 잘 일치하고 있다.

Analysis of added resistance of a ship advancing in waves (파랑중에서 전진하는 선박의 부가저항 해석)

  • This paper presents theoretical formulations and numerical computations for predicting first-and second-order hydrodynamic force on a ship advvancing in waves. The theoretical formulation leads to linearized radiation and diffration problems solving the three-dimensional Green function integral equations over the mean wetted body surface. Green function representing a translating and pulsating source potantial for infinite water depth is used. In order to solve integral equations for three dimentional flows using Green function efficiently, the Hoff's method is adopted for numerical calculation of the Green function. Based on the first-order solution, the mean seconder-order forces and moments are obtained by directly integrating second-order pressure over the mean wetted body surface. The calculated items are carried out for analyzing the seakeeping characteristics of Series 60. The calculated items are hydrodynamic coefficients, wave exciting forces, frequency response functions and addd resistance in waves.

  • Spatial green's functions for a horizontal magnetic dipole in a parallel-plate waveguide are expressed in an improved closed-form with two-level approximation of the spectral green's functions. The results evaluated by the present closed-from green's function with two-level approximation are compard with those obtained the previous closed-form green's function with one-level approximation. The present results are observed to be more acurate than the previous results over wide frequency range as well as whole spatial range. The combination of the present closed-form green's functions and the moment mehtod may help in analyzing the problem of EMP coupling through an aperture into a parallel-plat waveguide and the microstrip slot antenna with a reflector.

Analysis of Catenary-Pantograph Motion by Green's Function (그린 함수를 이용한 가선-판토그래프 계의 운동해석)

  • A new and efficient method is presented to evaluate contact force and motion of an electric railway simple catenary-pantograph system. Overhead lines are regarded as simple strings, and hangers connected to the strings are replaced with concentrated forces acting on them. The displacement of strings due to concentrated forces caused by hangers and pantograph is expressed using Green's function. A system of linear algebraic equations in terms of unknown forces is derived based upon the compatibility requirement at the location of hangers and pantograph. This procedure is more analytic in formulation compared to the existing methods such as finite difference method or normal modes method, and it is expected to be more accurate. Present method has additional advantage that it requires neither numerical differentiation nor system eigenvalues.

  • 3차원 모델을 바탕으로 실루엣 에지를 찾아 디스플레이 해주는 대부분의 시스템들은 삼각 메쉬를 기반으로 한 모델 표현법을 사용하고 있다. NPR(nonphotorealistic rendering)에서 가장 초점을 두는 것은 컴퓨터로 렌더링된 결과가 사람이 그린듯한 효과를 줄 수 있느냐에 있다. 기존에 연구된 대부분의 시스템들은 사람이 그린듯한 효과를 주기 위해 물체의 표면에 대한 텍스츄어(Texture)와 어두운 정도, 그리고 스트록(Stroke)을 표면의 윤곽에 맞도록 그리는 많은 기법들을 소개해 왔다. 본 논문에서는 NPR 표현의 가장 기본이 되는 실루엣 에지 추출에 초점을 두고 추출한 실루엣 에지에 대해 파라미터화된 브러쉬 함수(Parameterized Brush Functions)를 적용하여 다양한 스타일로 디스플레이할 수 있는 기법을 제시한다.
