Elicitation of drought alternatives based on Water Policy Council and the role of Shared Vision Model (협의체 기반 가뭄 대응 대안 도출과 비전공유모형의 역할)

  • The numbers of multi-year droughts due to climate change are increasing worldwide. Boryeong Dam, located in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, was also affected by a 4-year drought from 2014 to 2017. Since traditional unilateral decision making processes to alleviate drought damage have, until now, resulted in conflicts between many of the involved groups, the need for active participation from both stakeholders and policymakers is greater than before. This study introduced Shared Vision Planning, a collaborative decision making process that involves participation from various groups of stakeholders, by organizing Water Policy Council for Climate Change Adaptation in Chungcheongnam-do. A Shared Vision Planning Model was then developed with a system dynamics software by working together with relevant stakeholders to actively reflect their requests through three council meetings. Multiple simulations that included various future climate change scenarios were conducted, and future drought vulnerability analysis results of Boryeong Dam and districts, in terms of frequency, length, and magnitude, were arrived at. It was concluded that Boryeong Dam was more vulnerable to future droughts than the eight districts. While the total water deficit in the eight districts was not so significant, their water deficit in terms of spatial discordance was proved to be more problematic. In the future, possible alternatives to the model will be implemented so that stakeholders can use it to agree on a policy for possible conflict resolutions.

  • Current trend of audit is to check the physical aspects of developed information system, such as checking the budget constraints, time constraints or functional fluency etc. However, ultimate goal of information system is to help the organization to achieve the competency over their competitors. Also, there are three different interest groups in system auditing, like audit requesting group, audited group and audit group, who may have different points of interests in auditing. Current auditing process, however, ignores this point, and so does not check the differences between three groups. This study tries to develop new auditing method to cure these two problems. Contributions of this study may be summarized as follows. First, Introduce the new indexes that can check the possibility that the information system may contribute the competency of organization. Also check the feasibility of indexes through Fuzzy AHP. Second, Divide the audit related person into three groups, and their different needs toward the information system was analyzed. Third, Analyze and compare the main interests of three groups, and weights of each groups to each indexes were calculated. Fourth, Fuzzy theory was applied to quantify the qualitative answers, which may minimize the ambiguity of questionnaire replies.

Understanding the Difference in Residents' Perception of the Vulnerability of Local Ecological Assets - Focused on Paju, Gyeonggi-do - (지역 생태자산의 훼손 취약성에 대한 거주민의 인식 차이 - 경기도 파주지역을 대상으로 -)

  • This study targets the city of Paju, Gyeonggi-do, where many challenges are facing ecological assets management due to the increase in recent development. Using the survey data provided by the National Institute of Ecology in Korea, the study analysed the differences in the local residents' perception of local ecological assets. The Q methodology, which is useful for revealing differences in opinions, was applied to classify the narrative groups, which had different points of view in evaluating each asset. Next, the study compared the differences in perceptions of the vulnerability of ecological assets. As a result of the analysis, the city of Paju was divided into two main narrative groups: a 'Nature Conservation Group' and a 'Heritage Conservation Group'. The Nature Conservation Group wanted to prioritize ecologically valuable assets, such as wetlands, brackish zones, and forests. The Heritage Conservation Group preferred preserving ecological assets having a cultural contexts, such as royal tombs, graves, and the surrounding landscape. Evaluating the ecological assets, the two groups identified 23 ecological sites under threat from development among the 25 ecological sites considered. The Nature Conservation Group noted the importance of sites such as the Sannam Wetlands, Gongneungcheon, Gongneungcheon Brackish Zone, and Simhak Mountain. These were considered to be the most vulnerable ecological assets in the city. The study found differences in the perceived values for each ecological asset by residents. The results can serve as useful data for decision-making on ecological asset management in the city of Paju.

Study on Perceived Overload Confusion due to Modular Product's Option Size (모듈형 제품의 옵션 수가 소비자의 과잉혼란 지각에 미치는 영향 -조절초점, 제품친숙도, 자기효능감의 조절효과를 중심으로-)

  • Modularity has merits in modifiability of product structure management and product arrangement. This feature helps consumer to expand the selection of products and to get customized products. Also consumers are drive satisfaction and reduce a post-purchase dissonance from role in a 'prosumer'. But expanding product's alternative would cause the overload confusion by rising complexity of information handling. Purpose of the study is to verify how interaction about option size and personal disposition are effected consumer's overload confusion. For this purpose we deducted 3 personal dispositions 'Regulatory focus', 'Product familiarity', 'Self-efficacy' that presented lead to potential effect of personal information handling by previous research. By statistical inquiry prevent focus group had perceived more overload confusion than promotion focus group in an expanding option size circumstances. And low Product familiarity and Self-efficacy group had perceived more overload confusion than high Product familiarity and Self-efficacy group in a expanding option size circumstances.

  • In order to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve decision-making efficiency, which are one of the main contents of the digital transformation promotion goal, many companies are promoting the introduction of various IT for digital transformation. Information technology (IT) is a key means of determining competitiveness, and the IT adoption worldwide is increasing every year. The financial industry is also actively introducing huge amounts of IT every year to generate profits, improve work efficiency, and secure a strategic competitive advantage. Compared to some studies on the IT adoption in the public and corporate sectors, empirical studies that reflect the characteristics of the financial industry are insufficient. In this study, the purpose of this study was to derive factors affecting the IT adoption in the financial industry for the promotion of digital transformation, and to analyze weights and priorities. By revealing through data analysis that there is a difference in the relative priorities of factors in the financial IT adoption for each group, it can be used as a reference model for which factors should be considered prior to IT adoption from the perspective of each group. It will be meaningful in that it exists.

  • 기업의 올바른 경영과 꾸준한 성장을 위해선 원활한 자금흐름이 필요하다. 더욱이 장기간의 경기 침체와 급변하는 금융환경의 상황에서 기업은 자금에 대한 유동성 확보 및 향후 예측력이 필요하고 체계적으로 자금흐름을 관리하여야 한다. 즉 정확한 자금흐름을 예측하여 합리적 자금조달과 운용을 실시하며 그 결과에 대한 실적 및 분석을 통해 의사결정 정보를 적시에 제공함으로써 기업 경쟁력을 강화 시키기 위한 시스템이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 Cash flow 중점관리라는 효율적인 자금관리 측면의 새로운 개념의 업무 개선 방향을 정립하고 자금수지관리를 체계화 시킬 수 있는 표준 자금수지 시스템 모델을 제시하여 향후 업무 자동화 및 그룹 업무 표준화를 이루고자 한다.

  • There are various cases that we vote for making a decision or combining ideas (i.e. human being's opinions) in group meetings. Group Decision Support System(GDSS) provides us with a number of voting methods for decision making or aggregation of the ideas. It is generally difficult to select a voting method appropriate for given a meeting situation, without any aid of experts or computers having a knowledge on voting. In this paper we propose a supporting system for selecting an appropriate voting method. Since the selected method is recommended to the facilitator of GDSS, a part of time and effort related with the voting would be reduced. The knowledge in the system is represented as rules that are inductively generated from examples of voting. We used UNiK-INDUCE with ID3 algorithm so as to learn, which is a tool of developing expert systems.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 건축프로젝트에 있어서 디자인분야 개선요소의 특성을 파악하는데 있다. 기존 연구에서 디자인요소 중 열여덟 개의 개선요소들이 정리되었으며 이러한 개선요소들을 중심으로 건설관계자들의 설문조사를 통하여 주요도를 결정하였다. 연구결과는 각 파트별 협조가 가장 큰 개선요소로서 나타났으며 경영개선의 리더십, 팀워크, 시공능력 순으로 나타났다. 또한 각 그룹별 공통적인 개선요소로서 설계사무소와 시공자와의 원활한 의사소통이 상위개선요소에 지적되었다. 디자인에 있어서 초기 공사와 완공 후 유지관리를 반영한 시공성에 중점을 둔 설계에 대한 관심도 크게 나타났다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to assess the R&D investment of Korea Gas Corporation (Kogas) by combining several measures including R&D needs, technology spillover effects, and technology stock at the corporate level. This study has revealed that Kogas has concentrated its R&D resources on the operation and maintenance of gas supply facilities, and technology groups, which have higher fulfillment of R&D needs and technology spillover effects, have been on the relatively greater level of technology stocks.

  • 업무 데이터 분석을 통한 종합적인 의사결정을 지원할 수 있도록 데이터웨어하우스, OLAP, 데이터마이닝을 적용하려는 기업의 요구가 많아졌다. 그래서 기초 데이터의 이해, 선별, 수집, 가공, 정제가 매우 중요한 과정이나 테이블명 및 속성명이 표준화되어있지 않고 코드나 시스템 카탈로그와 같은 기본 데이터는 부정확하고 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 거의 스키마 정보에만 의존하여 테이블의 의미적 연관성에 근거한 유사한 특성을 가진 집단끼리 분류하는 대략적인 군집분석 방법을 제안한다. 질의 수행시 사용자가 설정한 임계 거리에 ㄸ라 관련된 군집만 검색함으로써 신속한 응답시간을 보장하고, 분석시점에서 다양한 질의에 유연하게 대처할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 또한 실제 데이터에 본 연구를 적용하여 산출한 군집결과와 사람이 매뉴얼하게 그룹핑한 군집결과와 비교한다.
