  • Today, one of the most important reasons that 3D software becomes a core part of the essential tools in the video contents field like the movies, animation, CF, motion graphic, games and etc. is that they can save budget of contents makings and can produce better effects than conventional methods like miniature, matt painting, extra mobilization and etc. and can save time and have the merit that they are not limited in space. In this paper, I analyzed IK(Inverse kinematics) system characteristics for the efficient education of 3D character animation particularly most used of 3D applications which is now supposed to be nearly necessary elements in game, animation, movie and contents. And by analyzing merits and demerits of each tool on Bone, Character studio and Character Animation Toolkit, systems which are most used practically in the various Inverse kinematics tools, I showed the result of analyses about the fact that educating which of the above three Inverse Kinematics tools is helpful and beneficial for the students for the efficient education in the university where should teach much in the limited time

  • These days GIS have rapidly deployed as input and solutions to marketing decision making problems and corresponding decision support systems in many countries including Korea. Its powerful spatial analysis tools along with data integration and graphic display capabilities let many retailers and manufacturers in fashion industry to accept GIS as a useful mean for their decision making systems. At this moment, this paper presents many facets of discussions on how GIS be applied to fashion marketing decision making problems. From provoking several questions on current fashion marketing decision making system to explaining multiattribute decision making and multiobjective decision making as tools for decision making analysis and discussing some implementation issues, this paper revealed many aspects of GIS and fashion marketing decision support system from integration point of view.

  • The Semantic Web Services is a next-generation Web technology that supports Web services, based on the semantic Web technologies. Until now, the researches on semantic Web services may be foiled on the semantic Web document management and the inference engine to efficiently process the semantic Queries. However, in order to realize the principle semantic Web environment it is necessary to provide a semantic query interface though which users and/or agents can efficiently request semantic information. In this regard, we propose the Semantic Query Adapter(SQA) to provide a high query transparency with users, especially when querying about a complex semantic information. We first design the procedural user query interface based on a graphic view, by analyzing DAML-S Profile documents. And then, we builds a module which a user input query transforms its corresponding RDQL. We also propose the multiple semantic query generating procedure as a new method to solve the disjunctive query problem of the RDQL primitive.

  • It might be true that both experimental and analytic techniques have been developed in the vibration analysis end engineering. It could not be said, however, that the experimental method has been also developed as much as analytic method, such as Finite Element Method One of the reason is that computation time becomes longer and that the solution often diverges depending on the choice of initial value in solving nonlinear equation. The equation in experimental modal analysis is usually composed of the nonlinear term of natural frequency and modal damping ratio, and the linear one of equivalent stiffness. In this study, the nonlinear terms were solved first, and then the linear term was obtained. The experimental modal parameters were estimated, applying the developed experimental modal analysis curve-fitting method to the super-structure model. In addition, the number of modes and modal damping ratio could be easily determined by the developed program with the application of graphical techniques and with easy handling button.

  • Horseback riding, shooting, golf and other sports that make up the visuals, the background graphics in the game is an important factor influencing the outcome. But they need to play directly from the site is limited, and sports simulation games and the realistic representation of real-time operation since the fall of the background. In this paper, to overcome the limitations in the field for the game by converting pictures 3d graphic modeling. z-depth by using a special technique for expressing the perspective of the analysis of the sport and VR (virtual reality) simulation to study the background to the development. In this study, background realistic VR implementation of sport Journal of Sports Science and will contribute to the development.

A Study on Mixed Noise Removal using Pixel Direction Factors and Weighted Value Mask (화소의 방향요소 및 가중치 마스크를 이용한 복합잡음 제거에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, digital image processing is being applied in various areas of broadcasting, communication, computer graphic and medical science. But, degradation of images occurs in the process of digital image acquisition, processing and transmission. Therefore, in order to remove the mixed noise, this paper suggested the image restoration algorithm to process salt and pepper noise with weighted filters according to 4 direction pixel changes after judging the noise and to process AWGN with weighted filters which have individually different characteristics. Regarding the processed results by applying Boat images which were corrupted by salt and pepper noise(P=40%), suggested algorithm showed the improvement by 1.33[dB], 1.41[dB], 0.51[dB] respectively compared with the existing CWMF, AWMF, MMF.

  • The purpose is to measure user experience in security-related services, focusing on Danggeun Market and Bungae Jangter, which are representative services in Korea among online trading of used goods. Using mobile applications, qualitative and quantitative research by conducting task experiments and surveys and in-depth interviews. As a result of the study, active interfaces are needed to make it easier for users to recognize safety and security services within current used trading platforms, a secure settlement method that benefits sellers, and services being provided to enhance security also need to consider graphical elements. This study is expected to help the continued development of safe used trading platforms considering security aspects on C2C-type platforms where buyers become sellers.

  • Currently, people use game engines which is consist of essential elements(Graphic engine, Physics engine, Audio engine, UI system, Gameplay frameworks, etc) to develop video. This game engine is used for its own development, but usually it is used by renting a commercial engine. To be able to use such a game engine requires a lot of theoretical and functional education, but in a limited period of university education, it is impossible to deal with various game engines in game art colleges, not general engineering universities. This paper will compare and analyze the characteristics, and merits and demerits of these two kinds of Game engines (Unity and Unreal engine), and showed the result of analyses about the fact that educating which of the above 2 Game engines are helpful and beneficial for the students for the efficient education in the Art college where should teach much in the limited time.

A Study on the User Experiences of the Animal Crossing

  • Using the TAM, this study investigates the impact of Perceived Usefulness(PU), Perceived Ease of Use(PEOU) of the Animal-Crossing users on game satisfaction(DOS), immersion(DOI), and the relationship between user's attitude and intention through the google online survey. The decorative elements of the game generate a healing effect and more than half of the survey participants share game activities with the online community in terms of PU. In the case of PEOU, the survey participants positively evaluate the technological advancement such as graphics and sounds of the game. In addition, both high degree of satisfaction and immersion in the game have significant correlations with the intention for replaying the game and intention for recommending the game to others.

3-Dimensional Strut-Tie Model Analysis and Design of Structural Concrete (콘크리트 구조부재의 3차원 스트럿-타이 모델 해석 및 설계)

  • In this study, a new approach employing 3-dimensional strut-tie models for analysis and design of 3-dimensional structural concrete with disturbed regions that are not properly occupied by current design codes is proposed. In addition, a computer graphics program for the practical application of the approach is developed. The approach adopts a grid strut-tie model to exclude the subjectivity in the selection of strut-tie model and evaluates the effective strength of concrete strut by considering the 3-dimensional failure criteria of concrete and the deviation angles between the struts and compressive principal stress trajectories. To verify the appropriateness of the approach, nine pile caps tested to failure are analyzed and a bridge pier is designed. The analysis and design results are compared with those obtained by several different methods.
