A hypergraph consists of a set of nodes and hyperedges that connect an arbitrary number of nodes. We employ graph traversal algorithms such as BFS and DFS to analyze or explore hypergraph data. However, the conventional BFS and DFS do not consider the structural characteristics of hyperedges. In this paper, we propose a method to record visited edges and nodes during the traversal algorithm for data stored in hypergraphDB. In the experiments, we conduct various hypergraph analyses that utilize traversal algorithms and show that our method achieves a fewer number of database accesses and faster processing time than the conventional one.
As graphs are becoming increasingly large, the costs for storing and managing data are increasing continuously. Shortest path discovery over a large graph requires long running time due to frequent disk I/Os and high complexity of the graph data. Recently, graph summarization techniques have been studied, which reduce the size of graph data and disk I/Os by representing highly dense subgraphs as a single super-node. Decompressing should be minimized for efficient shortest path discovery over the summarized graph. In this paper, we analyze the decompression performance of a summarized graph and propose an approximate technique that discovers the shortest path quickly with a minimum error ratio. We also propose an exact technique that efficiently discovered the shortest path by exploiting an index built on paths containing super-nodes. In our experiments, we showed that the proposed technique based on the summarized graph can reduce the running time by up to 70% compared with the existing techniques performed on the original graph.

The real road network is regarded as a grid, and the grid is divided by fixed-sized cells. The path-finding is composed of two step searching. First searching travels on the abstract graph which is composed of a set of psuedo vertexes and a set of psuedo edges that are created by real road network and fixed-sized cells. The result of the first searching is a psuedo path which is composed of a set of selected psuedo edges. The cells intersected with the psuedo path are called as valid cells. The second searching travels with $A^*$ algorithm on valid cells. As pruning search space by removing the invalid cells, it would be possible to reduce the cost of exploring on real road network. In this paper, we present the method of creating the abstract graph and propose a path-finding algorithm on the abstract graph for extracting search space before traveling on real road network.
Graph is applied to GIS, Network, AI and so on. We use graph concept in our daily life unconsciously. So this paper describe how graph concept is used when robot searches shortest path between two distinct vertices. It is performed in real world. For this, it consists of three step; maze traverse, graph generation, and shortest path search. Maze traverse steps is that robot navigates maze. It is most difficult step. Graph generation step is to represent structural information into graph. Shortest path search step is to that robot move between two vertices. It is not implemented yet. So we introduce process in design level.
In this paper, we consider the problem of exploring unknown environments with a mobile robot or an autonomous character agent. Traditionally, research efforts to address the space exploration problem havefocused on the graph-based space representations and the graph search algorithms. Recently EXPLORE, one of the most efficient search algorithms, has been discovered. It traverses at most min$min(mn, d^2+m)$ edges where d is the deficiency of a edges and n is the number of edges and n is the number of vertices. In this paper, we propose DFS-RTA* and DFS-PHA*, two real-time graph search algorithms for directing an autonomous agent to explore in an unknown space. These algorithms are all built upon the simple depth-first search (DFS) like EXPLORE. However, they adopt different real-time shortest path-finding methods for fast backtracking to the latest node, RTA* and PHA*, respectively. Through some experiments using Unreal Tournament, a 3D online game environment, and KGBot, an intelligent character agent, we analyze completeness and efficiency of two algorithms.

Recently, Many studies have been progressing to path-finding with dynamic information on the Terminal Based Navigation System(TBNS). However, the most of existing algorithms are based on $A{\ast}$ algorithm. Path-finding algorithms which use heuristic function may occur a problem of the increase of exploring cost in case of that there is no way determined by heuristic function or there are 2 way more which have almost same cost. In this paper, two abstract graph(AG) that are different method of construction, Homogeneous Node merging($AG^H$) and Connected Node Merging($AG^C$), are implemented. The abstract graph is a simple graph of real road network. The method of using the abstract graph is proposed for reducing dependency of heuristic and exploring cost. In result of evaluation of performance, $AG^C$ has better performance than $AG^H$ at construction cost but $AG^C$ has worse performance than $AG^H$ exploring cost.

Generally, Path-finding algorithms which use heuristic function may occur a problem of the increase of exploring cost in case of that there is no way determined by heuristic function or there are 2 way more which have almost same cost. In this paper, we propose an abstract graph for path-finding with dynamic information. The abstract graph is a simple graph as real road network is abstracted. The abstract graph is created by fixed-size cells and real road network. Path-finding with the abstract graph is composed of two step searching, path-finding on the abstract graph and on the real road network. We performed path-finding algorithm with the abstract graph against A* algorithm based on fixed-size cells on road network that consists of 106,254 edges. In result of evaluation of performance, cost of exploring in path-finding with the abstract graph is about 3~30% less than A* algorithm based on fixed-size cells. Quality of path in path-finding with the abstract graph is, However, about 1.5~6.6% more than A* algorithm based on fixed-size cells because edges eliminated are not candidates for path-finding.

This paper proposes the design of a neural network structure search model using graph convolutional neural networks. Deep learning has a problem of not being able to verify whether the designed model has a structure with optimized performance due to the nature of learning as a black box. The neural network structure search model is composed of a recurrent neural network that creates a model and a convolutional neural network that is the generated network. Conventional neural network structure search models use recurrent neural networks, but in this paper, we propose GC-NAS, which uses graph convolutional neural networks instead of recurrent neural networks to create convolutional neural network models. The proposed GC-NAS uses the Layer Extraction Block to explore depth, and the Hyper Parameter Prediction Block to explore spatial and temporal information (hyper parameters) based on depth information in parallel. Therefore, since the depth information is reflected, the search area is wider, and the purpose of the search area of the model is clear by conducting a parallel search with depth information, so it is judged to be superior in theoretical structure compared to GC-NAS. GC-NAS is expected to solve the problem of the high-dimensional time axis and the range of spatial search of recurrent neural networks in the existing neural network structure search model through the graph convolutional neural network block and graph generation algorithm. In addition, we hope that the GC-NAS proposed in this paper will serve as an opportunity for active research on the application of graph convolutional neural networks to neural network structure search.
