A Study on Residents' Needs for Storage According to Unit Size in Apartment (아파트 규모별 수납 실태 및 거주자 요구 조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine needs of residents on the storage according to unit size in apartment. In order to achieve our goal, the questionnaire survey was used. We sampled the questionnaire surveys of 250 households in Seoul whose apartment sizes had been more than 20 pyung. The data collected by the questionnaire survey was analyzed by examining the frequency, percentage on the SPSS/PC+. The results of the study were obtained as follows: 1) In research on the actual storage condition, Residents tended to feel constraint on the storage of the season goods and the storage satisfaction on the service area was found lowest. Therefore, there needed to design the balcony more efficiently for the storage and the interior storage for the season goods. 2) In research on consciousness and attitude about the storage, residents tended to keep the goods of no use and prefered to arrange neatly rather than use conveniently. Therefore, there needed more efficient space in the balcony for the storage of the goods of no use and the closed furniture rather than the open furniture was suited for arrangement. 3) In research on the storage needs, needs for the built-in furniture in all apartment sizes showed highly and residents wanted a space for the exclusive use of the storage. In a solution, it was proposed to equip with the interior storage and the exterior cooperative storage. In the conclusion, needs of residents on the storage according to apartment size were different little. The small size apartment had the serious storage problems and wanted the efficient space plan for storage.

Estimation of the Value of Road Traffic Noise within Apartment Housing Prices (아파트가격에 내재된 도로교통소음가치 추정)

  • In the developed countries, traffic noise is one of most serious problems faced by people's lives. So the importance of the traffic noise is quite well recognized by the infrastructure planners as well as the people. The traffic noise is valued in monetary terms in some countries and it is reflected in estimating the net present value or benefit/cost ratio. On the contrary, the effects of traffic noise are not reflected in the assessment of infrastructure in most cases in Korea. However, as the income level has been increasing, more people have been becoming to put more importance on their living conditions. The purpose of this paper is to estimate the value of traffic noise in the Seoul metropolitan area. The housing price were surveyed to use the quasi-hedonic price technique. By this way, two housing prices at the same floor level in different 128 complexes in the Seoul metropolitan area were surveyed. the actual traffic noise level was also measured. The differences of housing prices and noise levels were analyzed using the various types of regression models. The value is quite different by size of house. The value of large house is higher than that of small house. Since the income level of people in large house is higher than that in small house. it might be said that value of traffic noise for high income people is higher than that for low income people. Moreover, the increase of 1dB(A) noise affects the house price by about 0.3% in Seoul metropolitan area.

Noise Reduction Characteristic of Total Quiet Pavement System (저소음 포장체의 소음저감 특성)

  • The rapid economic development induced the massive road constructions, becoming bigger and high-speed of the vehicles. However, it brings lots of social problems, such as air pollutions, traffic noise and vibration. Special concrete block for the base course of asphalt pavement is needed to decrease traffic noise such as tire's explosive and vehicles sound, applying Helmholtz Resonators theory to asphalt pavement. If it is applied to the area where it happens considerable noise such as a junction, the street of a housing complex and a residential street, it is one of alternative methods to solve the social requirements of noise problems. This research examines couple of laboratory tests for the sound absorption effect of the concrete block and the base concrete block for quiet pavement. The specimens, which is fixed hall-size, space, depth as the condition of this research, are analysed of noise reduction effect using different noise levels of vehicles. Judging from the analysis of test results with vehicle noise volume, measurement distance, a form and size of the hall using the base concrete block, the use of special concrete base and quiet asphalt surface showed a good alternative solution for decreasing traffic noise level, from 4dB to 9dB.

  • Realization of zero waste society, which includes reduction, recycling and reuse of waste, has been a huge issue in Korea recently, and many experts are proposing various improvement plans in the establishment of political system. In particular, the current EPR system is partially agreed on its external achievement, but many problems are arising from the enforcement of the system. Therefore, flexible revisions and modifications on recycling policy are necessary. In order to understand the insufficiency and problem of the expansion of items in current EPR system, this study examined the actual generation and basic unit in small, medium and large-scale apartment complexes in B City and predicted the items that do not appear in the statistics to compare and analyze the problems in current recycling based on their result value; a survey was conducted on 137 experts and students of relevant major that live in B City on the items of EPR system and their perceptions to indicate the error in the necessity of items in EPR system that are generally underperceived by people and the error of current recycling system, and solution plans were sought to establish smooth future system.

Test of the Scale Effect of MAUP in Crime Study: Analyses of Sex Crime Using Nation-Wide Data of Eup-Myon-Dong and Si-Gun-Gu (범죄연구에 있어 가변적 공간단위 문제(MAUP)의 스케일효과 검증 : 전국 읍면동과 시군구를 대상으로 한 성범죄 분석)

  • This study attempted to test the scale effect of MAUP, particularly focusing on the spatial autocorrelation of sex crime, correlations among neighborhood structural variables, and causal mechanism leading to sex crime. Analysis results of nation-wide Eup-Myon-Dong and Si-Gun-Gu data discovered that the spatial autocorrelation, correlations among independent variables, and determinant coefficient of multiple regression of Si-Gun-Gu level were generally bigger and stronger than those of Eup-Myon-Dong, which appeared to be due to the averaging effect. Regarding the causal effect to sex crime, two interesting results were found: First, the ratio of non-apartment residency lowered sex crime at both levels contrary to the hypothesis. Second, the ratio of food and lodging increased sex crime only at Eup-Myon-Dong level. These suggested that future research need to perform more detailed analyses dividing data into subsets such as urban vs. rural and/or economically advantaged vs. disadvantaged areas.

  • 용수수요 추정의 기본은 수도계획에 사용할 수 있는 실사용량에 대한 조사로 이에 대한 자료가 거의 없기 때문에 각 수도사업별로 제시되는 추정방법이 조금씩 상이하며, 추정방법의 진위를 가릴 수 없이 수요추정의 악순환을 초래하고 있는 실정이다. 기존 물사용량 예측은 급수량 기준의 도시 전체에 내한 평균 LPCD를 이용함에 따라 물사용 특성을 충분히 고려찬 수 없어 지역별 실제 물사용량과 큰 오차가 유발되었다. 그러므로 수도계획 및 설계에 사용할 수 있는 신뢰성 있는 설계인자를 도출하기가 불가능하여 물수요 관리정책 수립, 수도요금체계 조정 및 누수방지계획 수립 등 경제적인 수도시설의 건설에 애로를 겪고 있다. 본 연구에서는 생활용수 중 가정용수에 대하여 세탁기, 변기, 싱크대 등 수도전에 유량계를 설치 실제 가정에서 사용하고 있는 용도별 사용량을 실측, 파악하였으며, 이로부터 얻은 용도별 사용량에 대한 기간별 소비특성을 분석하였다. 이로부터 생활용수 사용량의 소비패턴 및 시간대별 부하율 산정이 가능하며, 각종 용도별 사용수량의 소비형태를 찾아낼 수 있었다. 또한 가정용수 중 용도별 물 사용비율은 세탁용수, 변기, 주방, 목욕용수의 순으로 나타났으며 주택유형별로는 아파트 연립주택, 다세대 주택, 단독주택의 순으로 단독주택에서의 물사용량이 가장 적게 나타났다. 생활용수 공급량에 내해서는 시간별, 주별, 월별 그리고 계절변동 총량을 파악하였으며 시간대별로는 오후 3시경이 최대 소비량을 보였고, 주별로는 월요일 그리고 월별로는 7월의 용수사용량이 가장 큰 것으로 조사 되었다. 본 연구로부터 도출된 용도별 실측 물사용량 자료 및 분석결과로부터, 지금까지 공급량 기준의 계획수립이 이루어져왔던 파종 수도시설 규모결정시 합리적인 용수수요예측 및 수요관리가 이루어질 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 용수수요의 과다예측 오해 해소 등 경제적, 과학적 물관리 정책수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.는 경제적인 방법이 될 수 있다. 하천수 등의 상호 관계 분석을 통해 장기간의 유역 물순환체계 변화를 분석할 수 있었다.골풀과, 닭의장풀과가 각 1종씩으로, 조사지점( I )보다 좀 더 많은 종이 분포하는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 어류는 조사지점( I )에서 3회에 걸쳐 총 396개체가 채집되어 3목 8과 21종이었다. 이 중 한국 고유종은 11종이었고, 외래 어종은 검정우럭과 2종이 조사되었으며, Zacco platypus(피라미), Zacco temmincki(갈겨니), Acheilongnathus koreanus(칼납자루), Odontobutis platycephala(동사리), Coreoleuciscus splendidus(쉬리) 순으로 분포하고 있었고, Acheilognathus signifer(묵납자루)는 댐 건설 전에는 많이 분포하였으나 현장조사에서 서식을 확인 할 수 언어 개체수의 큰 감소내지 멸종된 것으로 추정되었다.에서 동시에 시행하였다. 수술 후 1년 내 시행한 심초음파에서 모든 환아에서 단지 경등도 이하의 승모판 폐쇄 부전 소견을 보였다. 수술 후 조기 사망은 없었으며, 합병증으로는 유미흉이 한 명에서 있었다. 술 후 10개월째 허혈성 확장성 심근증이 호전되지 않아 Dor 술식을 시행한 후 사망한 예를 제외한 나머지 6명은 특이 증상 없이 정상 생활 중이다 결론: 좌관상동맥 페동맥이상 기시증은 드물기는 하나, 영유아기에 심근경색 및 허혈성 심근증 또는 선천성 승모판 폐쇄 부전등을 초래하는 심각한 선천성 심질환이다. 그러나 진단 즉시 직접 좌관상동맥-대동맥 이식술로 수술적 교정을 해줌으로써 좋은 성적을 기대할 수 있음을 보여주었다.특히 교사들이 중요하게 인식하는 해방적 행동에 대한 목표를 강조하여 적용할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.교하여 유의한 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 또한 HSP 환자군에서도 $IL1RN^{*}2$ allele 빈도와 carriage rat

Research on Managing Incineration Facility according to Prediction of Change in Amount of Waste (폐기물 발생량 변화 예측에 따른 소각시설 운영에 관한 연구)

  • In the state that re-evaluation of calculating optimum amount of incineration in the future is needed, as considering the amount of waste, increase of heat value and change in floating population in each area in city B, the purpose of this research was to predict optimum available capacity in incineration plant and to study alternatives for the amount of disposal in each incineration plant based on the available capacity that was predicted. As a result of predicting the change in population based on progress of population in city B in the past, it is expected that an overall population is decreasing, but in some areas, population is concentrated due to increased apartment complexes, showing similar figures as the present. Moreover, when predicting the amount of waste through forecasting population, it is considered that the amount of waste by decreased population is also decreasing. However, the amount of combustible component among a total amount of waste is expected to increase, so it is predicted that the amount of incineration and combustible component will be reasonable except D incineration plant, Therefore, D incinerating plant showed 72.7% of rate of utilization of incineration facility compared to 59.1% of national rate. However, if shortfall of waste in the future can be used wisely in other areas, the use of renewable energy using burner useless heat can be maximized.

A numerical Study for Improvement of Indoor Air Quality of Apartment House (공동주택 단지의 실내 공기질 향상을 위한 수치 해석적 연구)

  • This study has been made to execute a research in order to lead the improvement of indoor air quality, examining the indoor ventilation characteristics by using a numerical analysis method. To this end an extensive parametric investigation are made according to various external flow variables such as main wind direction and wind speed by season, building layout design, and location of ventilators, etc. in Daedeok Techno Valley, one of large-scaled apartment in Daejeon. It is observed there was a significant difference of main wind direction between summer and winter. The main wind direction in summer was a south wind, and on the contrary the direction in winter is northnorthwest, which is similar to the average main wind direction for 10 years. One of the important calculation results is that the change of wind direction causes a significant effect on the apartment ventilation by the change of pressure difference around each complex of apartment. In case of favorable area of ventilation, the indoor ventilation rate can meet 0.7 ACH from the standard value only with natural ventilation. On the contrary, in other area the value was much lower than the standard value. If the calculation result applies to the design of layout apartment or placement of ventilators, it will be greatly helpful to the energy saving because it can be parallel with the natural ventilation to help securing ventilation rate, not much depending on the mechanical ventilation.

Geographical Discrepancies in Residential Outcomes and Housing Expenditure of Young Married Couples in Chonsei Housing (전세 거주 청년 부부가구의 지역 간 거주환경과 주거비 차이)

  • This research aims to investigate the socio-demographic, financial, and housing statuses of young married couples in Chonsei housing and to analyze the determinants of their residential environment quality and housing expenditure in four districts - Seoul and Gyeonggi-Incheon Area(GIA) of the Seoul Metropolitan Area(SMA), and metropolises and non-metropolises of non-SMA. From the 2020 Korean Housing Survey(KHS), this cross-sectional analysis examined a sample of 691 households, and the findings revealed that most were headed by college-educated, salaried male workers aged 31 years old. While childless dual-earner couples were common in Seoul, single-income families of three were prevalent in non-SMA. The financial status of the couples in Seoul was a lot better than in the other three areas, particularly much higher in Chonsei deposit and total asset value. Further, many lived in a three-bedroom apartment unit sized 60m2 and bigger, using a Chonsei loan. Regardless of areas, almost all the households spent a very low portion of their living expenses and income on housing costs. However, dual-earner families positively increased borrowing capacity, which improves the household's financial position that is likely to lead to equity increment in a volatile asset market in the long run. The statistical results indicated that residential environment assessment was influenced by neighborhood quality and housing expenditure was affected by housing size in Seoul, urban amenities in GIA and householder's gender in non-metropolises. Thus, this research proposes that strong measures be considered to mitigate housing inequality embedded in geographical and socio-economic disparities.
