Determination of the Upper Limit of Railpad Stiffness in Concrete Track of High-Speed Railways Considering the Running Stability of Train (주행안정성을 고려한 고속철도 콘크리트궤도 레일패드강성 상한값 결정)

  • 본 연구에서는 경부고속철도의 콘크리트궤도에서 열차주행안전측면에서 관리해야할 레일패드강성의 상한값을 차량 및 궤도의 동특성과 운영환경을 고려하여 결정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 차량과궤도의 상호작용의 해석의 중요 입력파라메타인 궤도틀림과 관련하여 프랑스 및 독일에서 제시한 궤도틀림 PSD(Power Spectral Density)와 경부 1단계구간 콘크리트궤도에서 계측한 궤도틀림 자료를 통하여 얻은 PSD를 기초로 하여 넓은 범위의 주파수영역에서 적용할 수 있는 콘크리트궤도의 궤도틀림 PSD를 제시하였다. 제시된 PSD 기준모델을 사용하여 시간영역에서의 궤도틀림 입력을 Random Generation을 통하여 구한 후 개발된 차량-궤도 상호작용해석 기법을 사용하여 레일패드에 따른 윤중감소율을 산정하였다. 산정된 윤중감소율에 대하여 국내 철도차량 안전기준에 관한 규칙의 탈선계수 규정을 적용하여 주행안전측면에서 허용할 수 있는 레일패드강성의 상한값을 제시하였다.

  • Impact factor of concrete and ballast track which has been used in Korea railway was applied to equation (1+0.513V/100) from AREA. As the use of this equation, overcapacity of track design might be occurred. Therefore, this study compared impact of ballast track (well, bad) and concrete track (sleeper embeded system, rail floating and sleeper floating) by field test to analyzing dynamic effect of track structure's characterstic and wheel load on service line. In addition, it suggested a method to generate reasonable impact factor on each track type.

  • 궤도(track)는 열차가 안전하고 승차감(乘車感)이 좋게 운행되도록 충분한 강도를 가지고 더욱이 양호한 상태로 정비되어 있어야 한다. 일반적으로, 토목구조물(structure)은 하중을 받으면 변위(變位)ㆍ변형하고, 하중이 없게 되면 원래대로 되돌아간다. 즉, 각 부재는 탄성 한계 내로 응력(應力)이 들어가도록 설계된다. 그러나, 궤도는 열차의 하중과 진동을 궤도 자신의 변위 축적으로 흡수하고 있다. 결국, 처음부터 틀림이 진행되어 가는 것을 전제로 한 유일한 구조물이다. 일반적으로는 스프링 하 중량과 축중(軸重)이 큰 차량이 빠르고 대량으로 주행하게 되면 궤도 틀림이 발생하여 진행한다. 궤도 틀림 파형의 성장은 궤도 틀림이라고 하는 공간적인 파형의 시간적인 추이라고 하는 2차원적인 취급이 필요하다.   • KARI plans to launch Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO) to the Moon by December 2020 for the first step of the Korea Lunar Exploration Project. This orbiter will be launched to obtain lunar exploration technologies and science data in advance before launching a main orbiter and a lunar probe. This paper describes the verification of thermal design for the orbiter. It is exposed to more extreme thermal environment than that of low Earth orbit satellite due to the heavy infrared emission of the Moon. Accordingly, a thermal design considering this environment is needed to maintain the temperature of payloads and components equipped in the orbiter within operating temperature range in all orbits. We performed the thermal analysis for Earth-Moon transfer orbit, lunar mission orbit and lunar eclipse required for thermal design verification of the lunar orbiter. As a result, this thermal design met the design requirements.

  • 전철의 궤도 방진에 의한 소음.진동 저감 효과를 실제 측정에 의해 확인하기 위해서는 궤도 방진 전과 후의 소음.진동 측정 데이타가 필요하다. 그러나 방진 궤도 구조로 설계된 신축 역사는 전철이 운행되지 않으므로 궤도 방진 전의 전철 운행시 발생하는 소음.진동을 측정할 수 없으며 공사완료 후 전철이 운행된다고 하여도 궤도 방진이 되지 않은 상태에서의 소음.진동 측정은 불가능하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 전철이 운행되고 있고 궤도 방진이 되어 있지 않은 유사한 구조의 산본 전철 역사를 선택하여 소음.진동을 측정, 분석하고 이 데이타를 방진 궤도 구조로 설계된 유사한 구조 신축 역사의 소음.진동을 예측하는데 기초 입력 데이타로 제시하고자 한다.

Development of Onboard Orbit Generation Algorithm for GEO Satellite (정지궤도 위성의 탑재 궤도 생성 알고리듬 개발)

  • This technical paper deals with development of on-board orbit generation algorithm for GEO Satellite. This paper presents the research analysis results performed in order to improve the accuracy of the existing algorithm used for generating real-time orbit information for GEO satellite. The error impact on orbit accuracy due to the orbit error sources were analyzed with the algorithm suggested by this research. As a result of the analyses, it is found that the initial orbit should be determined with an accuracy of less than 50 m and the reference position angle error for the ground station and the satellite should be maintained within ${\pm}0.0025deg$ in order to meet the orbit accuracy specification. The development of on-board flight software based on the new algorithm was accomplished and the performance verification is ongoing by using a software based performance verification tool.

  • In this study, the key parameters affecting the deterioration of each track type were derived based on field inspections and laboratory tests. The existing track deterioration model was limited to the ballasted tracks, and the deterioration evaluation of concrete tracks was insufficient. In this study, the laboratory test was performed to evaluate the performance and condition of track components to derive the deterioration factors reflecting the characteristics of various track structures. In addition, through analysis of track maintenance history data, parameters affecting track deterioration and maintenance were derived. The key parameters for presenting a track deterioration model based on the track performance of ballasted and concrete tracks through field inspection, track maintenance history data analysis, and performance test of track components using on-site specimens were identified as track support stiffness, Ballast gravel, track settlement and Resilience pad were presented.

  • Track support stiffness which affected track maintenance and riding comfort had a big effect on the track and train. Also, track support stiffness of the track design which was based on theory differs from track support stiffness of the track generated on the field. Track support stiffness was generated by several factors such as dynamic wheel loads, vertical displacement of track, and stress at rail bottom on the field test. With the results of the field test was compared with theoretical value. This paper analyzed that track support stiffness of ballast depended on condition of ballast, and support stiffness of concrete track also depended on the characteristic of track structures such as, normal elastic fastening system, rail floating system and sleeper floating system. However, on the ballast and concrete track, the designed track support stiffness was underestimated less than the measured track support stiffness. When the track condition was estimated on service line, it would not consider the track condition on the field. Therefore, this study proposed the various track type and the range of track support stiffness based on the experimental test.

  • The operational orbit evolution of the KOMPSAT-l over 3 years was analyzed. During LEOP, four orbit maneuvers were performed to obtain the optimized orbit and eight safe-hold modes happened. The effects of unpredictable occurrence of the safe-hold mode and the highest solar activity on the orbit evolution during the mission life were analyzed. The comparison of orbital elements between long-term predicted orbit and determined orbit from observed data was also performed. The operational orbit started from the optimized one was evolved within the boundary of the designed mission orbit except altitude and it was verified the sun-synchronous orbit was successfully maintained.
