Analysis of Tuning Unit Characteristic for Track Circuit Maintenance Efficiency (궤도회로의 유지보수 효율화를 위한 동조 유니트 특성 분석)

  • The train control system used in Gyeongbu-line is classified in ATC, IXL and CTC. The ATC data related to speed and space control for trains are transmitted from wayside to onboard by way of UM71 AF track circuits and BSP Loop. The information transferred by track circuits is composed of operation data which directly influence to the train operation and the information transferred by BSP Loop is used in the section which requires the additional data transmission about the particular track-side environment such as tunnel, hot box detector or insulated section. In this paper, for the BA type turning unit of the UM71 AF track circuits which is mainly used in the linking section of existing and high-speed lines from the opening of the Gyeongbu line till the present, we not only analyze the characteristics of BA but also compare and analyze baseline values and the measured values. With this analysis, we will be able to propose how to solve the problems about operation and maintenance such as track circuit malfunctions of the relevant sections.

A Study of the Cubic Field Splitting Parameter 10Dq by Means of One-Center Expansion of Complex MO (착물 분자궤도함수의 일점 전개에 의한 입방결정장 분열 파라미터 10Dq의 고찰)

  • MO's of a complex are expanded in terms of the set of Shull-Lowdin functions based on a single point, the nucleus of central metal ion, and the result was interpreted from the viewpoint of perturbation theory. We find that even in the case of $[NiF_6]^{4-}$, which has relatively small covalency, excited configurations with high orbital angular momentum are considerably mixed into $e_g$ and $t_{2g}$, orbitals of central metal ion, and that the distortions in these orbitals differ from each other. Therefore it is concluded that the energy difference between $e^*_g$ and $t^*_{2g}$, orbitals evaluated in the MO scheme has little meaning of the unique parameter 10Dq in the crystal field theory, and that such a unique parameter cannot be defined in a rigorous sense in the MO scheme.

  • The track structure of Gyungbu High Speed Railway line from Daegu to Busan is concrete track. It has a very strict specification for residual settlement because of its rigid type structural characteristics. The residual settlement of it comes from the residual settlement of the subgrade and the ground. The residual settlement of railway subgrade composed of crushed rock and soil might be major parts of total residual settlement depending on the field compaction qualities. Therefore, it is a key to minimize the residual settlement of the subgrade for a successful concrete track construction. In this paper, total 31 large scale compaction tests were performed to understand the compaction behaviors of the crushed rock-soil mixture. The test specimens were constituted with soil, crushed shale and mudstone taken from two sites under construction. The compaction tests were performed with the variations of rock types, #4 sieve passing contents, maximum particle size, and moisture contents. The influence of those factors on maximum dry unit weights of crushed rock-soil mixture was evaluated.

  • 다목적 실용위성의 궤도전이 및 위성체 자세제어를 위한 추진시스템의 설계요소에는 구조적 안전성, 우주환경에서의 열제어를 위한 회로 및 구성하드웨어 설계, 연료계통 맥압강하를 위한 장치설계 및 추력기 배기가스 영향을 고려한 형상설계 등이 있으며, 설계검증을 위해 부분해석이 수행된다. 또한 발사환경과 우주 궤도환경에서의 추진시스템 성능평가를 위한 연제어계 기능시험, 압력인증시험, 청정도시험 및 내부/외부 누설시험이 수행된다. 본 논문에서는 추진시스템 설계 및 조립공정에 대해 기술하였고, 시험분석을 통해 시스템의 설계 및 조립공정상의 신뢰성을 검증 분석하였다.

  • The extended Huckel calculations on five organic accelerators of vulcanization have been carried out. Various MO quantities e.g., electron populations and AO coefficients, are used to explain accelerator reactivity of the compounds. Results of these analyses lead us to support free radical mechanism of acceleration in vulcanization.

  • In June 2010, Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI), the world's first ocean color observation satellite will be launched. GOCI is planned for use in real-time monitoring of the ocean environment around Korean Peninsula by daily analysis of ocean environment measurements of chlorophyll concentration, dissolved organic matter, and suspended sediments taken eight times per day for seven years. GOCI primary data will support a fishery information service and red tide forecasting, and ocean climate change research. In this paper, the development background of GOCI, user requirements, GOCI architecture, and the GOCI on-orbit operational concept are explained.

  • 철도운영효율 향상을 위하여 첨단 기술을 기반으로 하는 스마트 철도 기술에 대한 개발 및 실용화 사업이 전 세계적으로 진행중에 있다. 철도의 수송력 증대와 운영비용 감소 및 시스템 변경 용이성등의 장점을 극대화하기 위하여 기존의 궤도회로 중심의 열차제어 시스템에서 통신기술을 기반으로 하는 열차제어시스템으로의 전환을 위한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CBTC 시스템에서 GPS시스템의 적용 타당성 여부를 검증하였고 CBTC 시스템에서의 위치 정보 수신을 위한 GPS 수신데이터의 정합 알고리듬에 관한 저전력 분할 연산 알고리듬을 설계하여, 본 논문에서 제안한 코드는 기존의 수신데이터의 정합알고리듬 대비 2% 면적이 감소하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 또한 전력소모가 7% 감소되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
