Conventionally, in order to get accurate geolocation of satellite images we need a set of ground control points with respect to individual scenes. In this paper, we tested the possibilities of modeling satellite orbits from individual scenes by establishing a sensor model for one scene and by applying the model, which was derived from the same orbital segment, to other scenes that has been acquired from the same orbital segment. We investigated orbit-attitude models with several interpolation methods and with various parameter sets to be adjusted. We used 7 satellite images of SPOT-3 with a length of 420km and ground control points acquired from GPS surveying. Results of the conventional individual scene modeling hardly introduced differences among different interpolation methods and different adjustment parameter sets. As the results of orbit modeling, the best model was the one with Lagrange interpolation for position/velocity and linear interpolation for attitude and with position/angle bias as parameter sets. The best model showed that it is possible to model orbital segments of 420km with ground control points measured within one scene (60km).

Generation of accurate ground coordinates from high resolution satellite image are becoming increasingly of interest. The primary focus of this paper is to compute satellite direct sensor model (DSM) and rational function model (RFM) for accurate generation of ground coordinates from high resolution satellite images. Being based on this we presented an algorithm to be able to efficiently ground coordinates about large area with introducing RFM(rational function model) method applied to rigorous sensor modeling standing on basis of satellite orbit dynamics and collinearity equation, and sensor modeling of high-resolution satellite data like IKONOS, QuickBird, KOMPSAT-2 and others. The general high resolution satellite measures the position, velocity and attitude data of satellite using star, gyro, and GPS sensors.
Geostationary satellite propulsion system provides satellite with the velocity increment for attitude control operations and sationkeeping operations from satellite launch to de-orbit at the end of life. Today, various types of propulsion system and its thrusters are produced by worldwide manufactures. Therefore, geostationary satellite manufacturers give significant
modification to the Mission Analysis Software whenever different type of propulsion system type is adopted. Mission Analysis Software is a tool for planning and verification of satellite mission. For the development of the Generalized Mission Analysis Software, many thrusters are carefully investigated and modeled.

Numberous satellites have monitored the Earth in order to detect changes in a large area. These satellites provide orbit information such as ephemeris data, RPC coefficients and etc. besides image data. If we can use such orbit data afforded by satellite, we can reduce the number of control point for geo-referencing. This paper shows the efficient geometric correction method of strip-satellite RADARSAT-l SAR images acquired by same orbit using ephemeris data, single control point and virtual control points. For accuracy analysis of proposed method, this paper compared the image geometrically corrected by the proposed method to the image corrected by ERDAS Imagine.

In this paper, the modeling and implementation results of the operational test and evaluation tool of the KASS up-link station composed of the GEO(Geostationary Earth Orbit) satellite signal analysis tool model that analyzes the GEO satellite signal and the GEO message analysis tool model that analyzes the GEO satellite navigation message. In addition, we describe the results of software modeling and implementation of some software models of GEO satellite and KASS up-link stations that can generate and provide simulated signals to operational test and evaluation tools of these KASS up-link stations.
An important source of noise from railways is rolling noise caused by wheel and rail vibrations induced by acoustic roughness at the wheel-rail contact. The main contributors to rolling noise are the sleepers, rail, and wheels. In order to analyze and predict rolling noise, it is necessary to understand the vibrating behaviors of railway tracks, as well as of the wheels. In the present paper, theoretical modeling methods for railway track are reviewed in terms of rolling noise; these methods are applied for the three representative types of domestic railway tracks operated: the conventional ballasted track, KTX ballasted track and KTX concrete track. The characteristics of waves propagating along rails are investigated and compared among the types of tracks. The tracks are modeled as discretely supported Timoshenko beams and are compared in terms of the averaged squared amplitude of velocity, which is directly related to the sound radiation from the rails.

In this study, the effect of the change in cable tension on the track irregularity of railway ballasted track on a railway steel composite bridge was analyzed. As a result of comparing design and analysis results for cable tension, a difference of less than 3% was found, and analysis modeling was analyzed to reflect the design conditions well. In addition, the adequacy of the analysis modeling was demonstrated by comparing the field measurement results with the analysed cable tension. By considering the change in cable tension as a variable, the track irregularity of the railway steel composite bridge was analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that the total and one-sided cable tension change had a direct effect on the vertical irregularity among the track irregularity items. In addition, it was found that the change in track irregularity occurred in the section close to the cable position. It was analyzed that the change in cable tension had a more direct effect on track irregularity that had a direct correlation with the vertical direction rather than the lateral direction.

Recently, Vecna BEAR type robot to save injured individuals from inaccessible areas has been developed to minimize the loss of life. Because this robot is driven on rough terrain, there is a risk of rollover and vibration, which could impact the injured. In order to guarantee its stability, an algorithm is required that can estimate the speed limits for various environments in real time. Therefore, a dynamic model for real-time analysis is needed for this algorithm. Because the tracks used as the driving component of Vecna BEAR type robot consist of many parts, it is impossible to analyze the multibody tracks in real time. Thus, a lumped track model that satisfies the requirements of a short computation time and adequate accuracy is required. This study performed lumped track modeling, and the traction force was verified using RecurDyn, which is a dynamic commercial program.
