Researches in draft recommendation H.263 have been made in ITU-T LBC group to broaden its range of useful application and to improve its compression performance. The form of added and revised draft text of H.263 is informally known as “H.263+”. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of H.263+ negotiable option modes for four image classes. Based on the analysis results, we proposed the adaptive selection scheme of H.263+ option modes by using a scene change detector for a mixed image class. In case of using the proposed scheme, we obtained the 1.6dB improvement in PSNR compared to the basic mode of H.263, and the 0.4~1.0 dB improvement in PSNR compared to the fixed usage scheme of H.263+ negotiable option modes. In respect to used bits per frame, fewer bits are produced than the basic mode H.263 and the foxed usage scheme of H.263+ option modes.

Rec. ITU-R M.1842-1 is international recommendation for VHF band communication guideline in maritime mobile service RR Appendix 18 channels. In this paper, we simulate 28.8 kbps VHF ${\pi}$/4-DQPSK digital baseband modem compatible with the recommendation, then it is designed and implemented with FPGA. Cazac sequence is used as a preamble since packet format is not defined untill now in the recommendation. Baseband modem is designed by VHDL language and implemented on NEXYS4 development platform having Atrix7 FPGA chip from Xilinx. For wireless communication test of total prototype system, ADC/DAC board is implemented and EV9730 RF module is utilized. From the experimental results, implemented FPGA modem shows spectral bandwidth of 25 kHz and successful data exchanges between tx and rx communication platform.

The purpose of this paper in that users can use mobile device applications more easily and efficiently through MoDAM (Mobile Device Application Management) system. MoDAM automates the process of web retrieval for obtaining mobile device applications and the process of installing or updating it on mobile devices and then supply users with these automated services in a step form by combining two separated processes. We implement a web agent conforming to OSD (Open Software Description) specification for automating software retrieval and downloading and also a mobile device based software management module conforming to SyncML (Synchronization Markup Language) specification for synchronizing common data between server and client. The method of automated software retrieval and management for mobile devices using these standard specifications minimizes users' interrupts and also can be applied to traditional several different mobile devices, operating systems or downloading web sites without platform dependent considerations.

표준(안) 및 잠정표준(안)으로 제안된 39건을 TTA단체표준으로 승인받기 위한 제6차 기술총회가 5월 20일 상공회의소 2층 회의실에서 개최되었다. 사무총장은 인사말을 통해 표준화 활동에 참여 하시는 분들에 대한 감사와 노고를 치하하였으며, 국내외적으로 다변화하는 표준화의 중요성을 강조하면서 계속적인 관심과 노력을 아끼지 말아 줄 것을 부탁하였다. 이 날 총회에서는 전자통신연구소 정보통신표준연구센타장인 임주환 박사의 ''국제 표준화 활동의 중요성''이란 주제로 세미나가 개최되었다. 초대손님인 일본 TTC대표 Mr. obuchi외에 50여명이 참석한 가운데 진행된 본 회의에서는 차기 기술총회 의장으로 한국통신연구개발단 표준연구본부장인 최상일 부의장이 단독후보로 추천되어 만장일치로 선출되었따. 단체표준(안)에 대한 의결과정을 거쳐 협회에서 제안한 12종 33건의 표준(안)과 1종 6건의 잠정표준(안)을 원안대로 승인하였으며 13종 39건에 대해 국가권고표준(안)으로 요청할 것을 의결하였다. 한편 ''국가권고표준''이란 용어를 ''국가표준''으로 통일하기로 했다. 승인된 12종 33건의 표준과 1종 6건의 잠정 표준에 대해 간략히 요약 소개 게재한다.

최근에 복잡,다양해지는 정보통신환경에서의 정보통신기기간 상호운용성이 중요한 이슈로 부각되면서, 국내에서도 정보통신기기에 대한 국가권고표준의 준수 여부를 검증할 필요성이 폭넓게 인식되어 가고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 국가권고표준 적합인증의 전반적인 절차에 적용될 ''OSI 상호접속-적합성시험 방법론 및 체계'' 표준안에 대한 이해를 돕기 위하여, 본 표준안의 제정 배경과 주요 내용, 그리고 적합성시험 방법론과 시험지침을 설명한다.

우리 협회에서 간행된 한국목록규칙 3판(KCR3)은 국내의 기술목록수준을 국제적인 수준으로 한 단계 진전시키는 중요한 계기가 되었다고 자부합니다. 그 근거로 국제서지기술법(ISBD)을 수용하여 서지기술단위저록방식을 규정함으로써, 기술만으로 완전한 저록을 구성할 수 있게 되었으며, 특히 우리의 언어나 사고과정에 기초한 한국적 특수성을 목록규칙에 반영할 수 있었다는 점을 들 수 있습니다. 그러나 종래 KCR3은 단행본 중심의 목록규칙이라는 한계가 있었고, 따라서 연속간행물과 기타 비도서자료에 대한 기술규칙의 제정이 요구되어 왔습니다. 각종 비도서잘(비책자자료)와 네트워크자원이 대량으로 간행되는 시점에서 이들 다양한 유형의 자료를 목록에서 수용할 수 있는 통합된 목록규칙이 요구되고 있는 실정임에도 불구하고, 규칙제정에 소요되는 시간과 인력을 고려하여 우선 일차로 연속간행물용 목록규칙(안)을 내어 놓게 된 것입니다. 이 목록규칙(안)은 그 동안 2년여에 걸쳐 우리 협회 목록위원회를 중심으로 회의와 토록과정을 거친 것으로 도서관계에 종사하시는 사서 여러분의 의견을 수용하고자 하오니, 애정과 관심으로 검토해 주시고 좋은 의견을 개진해 주시길 간곡히 부탁드립니다. 목록규칙은 바로 우리 도서관인 모두가 다듬고 만들어 가야 할 책무가 있기 때문입니다. 어떤 형태의 의견이나 권고안, 수정안이라도 좋으니 여러분의 많은 관심과 협조를 기대합니다.

The purpose of this converged study is to find nurses' knowledge and performance of cancer pain management targeting 295 nurses in M City. Cancer pain management knowledge and performance scales by Jo(2009) were the research tool used. Using SPSS 18.0, t-test, ANOVA, Multiple Linear Regression were carried out. The average scores of knowledge and performance were $19.2{\pm}6.16$ out of 30, and $3.12{\pm}0.40$ out of 4 each. There was a significant difference between nurses' knowledge and performance according to Cancer Pain Management Guideline(CPMG). There was a positive correlation between nurses' knowledge and performance(r=.488, p=.001). Explanation rate of the knowledge on the performance was 38.6%. For the purpose of increasing nurses' performance level of cancer pain management, systematic education and elevating awareness of CPMG are needed.

The Korean Society of Radiology and the Korean Society of Thoracic Radiology have prepared recommendations for the use of diagnostic imaging for COVID-19 in various clinical scenarios. We have tried to grasp the situation in the real world, aggregated opinions from the chest radiologists, and reviewed available references, in order to suggest the most reasonable recommendations possible at this moment. As circumstances change and new evidences emerge, the recommendations should immediately be modified accordingly.

TMN(Telecommunications Management Network) 관리서비스란 TMN사용자 입장에서 인지된 전기통신망의 운용, 유지보수, 관리 및 제공(OAM&P)에 적용되는 개발요구사항들을 관리되어야 할 관리대상 영역과 상세 관리기능 관점에서 정의한 것으로서, ITU-T(SG4/WP3)에서 이 내용을 국제표준으로 제시하기 위하여 M.3200(TMN Management Services and Telecommunication Managed Areas : Overview)라는 권고안을 작성 권고하였다. 본 고에서는 국내 통신사업자와 산업체들이 적용할 수 있는 TMN관리서비스와 관리영역에 대한 국가표준을 제시하기 위하여 ITU-T의 M.3200을 기반으로 작성되어 ''98년 TTA단체표준으로 제정한 ''TMN관리서비스 표준''에 대한 주요내용과 적용범위 등을 요약$\cdot$정리하였다.

In this paper, effect of steel fiber inclusion, compressive strength of matrix, shear reinforcement and shear span to depth ratio on the flexural behavior of UHPFRC(Ultra High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete) were investigated with test of 10-UHPFRC beam specimens. All test specimens were subjected to the flexural static loading. It was shown that steel fiber significantly improve the shear strength of UHPFRC beams. 2% volume fraction of steel fiber change the mode of failure from shear failure to flexural failure and delayed the failure of compressive strut with comparatively short shear span to depth ratio. UHPFRC beams without steel fiber had a 45-degree crack angle and fiber reinforced one had lower crack angle. Shear reinforcement contribution on shear strength of beams can be calculated by 45-degree truss model with acceptable conservatism. Using test results, French and Korean UHPFRC design recommendations were evaluated. French recommendation have shown conservative results on flexural behavior but Korean recommendation have shown overestimation for flexural strength. Both recommendations have shown the conservatism on the flexural ductility and shear strength either.
