Performance based logistics(PBL) is recently studied and applied for enhancing the combat readiness and reducing the life-cycle cost for weapon system in the United States. Therefore, in this paper, we review the issues of logistic support and suggest alternatives to effectively manage the logistic support for weapon system by using performance based logistics, especially during operation and support phase of weapon systems.

Integrated logistics support activities is to comprehensively manage the logistic support elements in the whole pro cess, from the design, development, acquisition request from the time it takes, operating and disposal for the efficient and cost-effective logistics support equipment. In other words, maintain the performance of the weapon system, and is required to be filed from the time the economic comprehensive logistic support until discarded activities, managing all logistic support throughout the life cycle period. This study was an intensive study for a seamless integrated logistics support force support system, the result wa s determined that the insufficient number of parts to the weapons sector, presents some development direction for se amless integrated logistics support force support system and should.

One of the important roles used to ensure victory in a war is to maximize the overall military forces and to make sure that the capability of the military forces can be sustained as much as possible. Although several researchers have proposed various possible methodologies for logistics support, no research trials have been undertaken to investigate logistics support that considers all relevant elements of such. Unlike previous in trials that consider and analyze the system fault ratio as the main methodology, we propose an approach that simultaneously decides and recommends logistic priority by reflecting and combining item costs, transportation, fault-ratio, and system complexity. Also, we designed an algorithm that can recommend optimized logistics support priority using stationary distribution.

고품질의 소프트웨어를 개발하는 사업의 중요성이 나날이 증대되고 있는 시점에서 소프트웨어를 종합군수지원 관점에서 해석하려고 하는 연구가 최근에 진행되고 있다. 즉, 소프트웨어 설계자의 입장은 소프트웨어 개발도 중요한 문제이지만 소프트웨어를 얼마나 가용성 있게 유지하는가에 더 많은 관심을 갖게 된다. 하드웨어는 개발 시부터 종합군수지원이라는 기법을 적용하여 체계 배치 시 체계 장비가 최상의 가용도를 가질 수 있도록 하는 노력이 이루어지고 있으며, 그 결과도 현실화되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 하드웨어에서만 적용하고 있는 종합군수지원 개발 기법을 소프트웨어에 적용하여 소프트웨어에 대한 종합군수지원 적용방안을 제시하고, 향후 소프트웨어 개발/배치 시에 경제적이고 가용도가 높은 소프트웨어의 개발/활용이 가능하도록 군수지원 분석을 통한 종합군수지원 활용 방안을 제안한다.

Integrated Logistics Support can effectively respond to future wars and through the smooth logistics support activities bring a win in wars. Future warfare is very complex compare to Modern Warfare and required high level of strategies and tactics. Also, it is expected that the future war will be high-intensity war using high-tech weapon systems. Therefore, in this study, I look forward to the effective logistic support through the development of ammunition integrated logistics support which is a part of integrated logistics support(ILS). In addition, by studying a step-by-step system and supporting element of ammunition integrated logistics support, we can find the errors related to ammunition integrated logistics support system and suggest the direction to improve the system.

The aim of this study is to suggest the direction of implementing the new defense logistics systems for the network centric warfare in the future. For this purpose, we reviewed SARL(Sense and Response Logistics) which receives great attention from the U.S. Department of Defence as the future logistic concept of network centric warfare, coupled with recent development in information technologies which give technical revolution in the future logistics information system. Also, we analyzed problems underlying logistics information system currently used in the Korean Armed Forces. Finally, we suggested the direction of implementing the new logistics information system for the network centric warfare, expecting to reduce total logistics cost, speed up logistics velocity, and enhance the efficiency of the combat support.

While the Military Logistics System and its Outcome Quality have been Emphasized, User Unit's needs on Interaction Quality Begin to Appears as a New Subject in Logistics Field. Interaction Quality of Supply, Maintenance and Foods Among Logistics Functions Influenced much more to User Unit's Satisfaction. Especially Maintenance on Satisfaction was Prominent. Analyses of the Survey and Interview with Field Employees Supported the Results, and the Characteristics of Maintenance Function also Accord with those. Moreover, the Service Maintenance Employees, who Showed Higher Job Satisfaction Among Three Functions, led to Higher Satisfaction of User Units.

This paper, in order to minimize the ground waiting time of an Air tanker, the queuing theory, that is, a queue that calculates the waiting time under single-server and multi-server situations, was used in the study. Since the national budget and resources are limited, the unlimited increase of the logistics support service team is limited. Therefore, the number of logistic support service teams that can adaptively control the ground waiting time according to the wartime preparation stage or war environment was calculated. The results of this study provide a stipulated standard for calculating the optimal number of air tanker logistic support service teams of the Air Force, providing a basis for the logistical commander to assign logistic support service teams to each stage from peacetime to wartime.

통상적으로 국외도입부품의 가격은 그 모체장비의 수명이 경과하여 도태시기로 갈수록 가격이 급격히 상승하며, 심지어는 우리가 아무리 많은 비용을 지불하더라도 조달이 곤란한 경우가 많이 발생한다. 따라서 유사시 원활한 군수지원을 위해서는 국내에 안정적인 조달원을 유지하여야 하며, 이것이 적기 군수지원과 경제적인 조달을 위한 최선의 방안이라는 점이다. 이 글에서는 군용물자의 부품 군산화와 관련된 전반적인 정책과 지원제도에 관한 문제점을 도출하고 부품국산화를 활성화 시킬 수 있는 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

분단된 조국의 현실은 항상 전쟁 가능성을 내재하고 있다. 따라서 이로 인해 언제라도 발생될 전쟁에 대비하여 원활한 군수지원체제를 구축하여야 한다. 군수지원에서 가장 중요한 문제는 "필요한 시기에 필요한 물자를 양만큼 공급"해야 하는 것이다. 만약 군수물자를 외국에 의존하고 있다면 전쟁 발발시 우리 군수물자의 조달관리에 차질을 가져올 것이고, 이때의 손실은 이루 헤아릴 수 없을 것이다. 이와 같은 의미에서 국산화는 곧바로 국가 안보문제까지 제기된다는 점을 감안할 때 국산화의 중요성은 재삼 거론할 필요조차 없을 것이다.
