This paper examines the life-cycle and birth cohort effect on East Asian supranational identity. This paper also explores how national identity is related with supranational identity among Koreans. Using the 2008 CCGA-EAI survey, we analyze the determinants of supranational East Asian identity. The results suggest several interesting findings. Age and national identity have positive effects on East Asian identity. Among generational cohorts, the democratization cohort were less likely than other cohorts to have East Asian identity. These findings suggest several implications. First, in Korea, unlike other countries in the Western world, the older tend to have stronger regional identity than the younger do. Second, unlike the existing literature, this paper finds that strong national identity (pride) is complementary, rather than substitutive, to supranational regional identity. This warrants further systematic research on the microfoundation on the relationship between regional integration and nationalism in Northeast Asia.

In recent years, strengthening educational accountability of school as the public institutions has been emphasized. Thus, most countries perform national student assessments and programme for international student assessment(PISA) in order to prove the educational accountability. The school library supported by the educational institutions are no exception, school library has demanding the educational accountability. The purpose of this study was to compare the reading domain of PISA and standards for the 21st-century learner of AASL, it is to investigate that the school library contributes to PISA achievement. In this study were analyzed domain of PISA 2009 reading literacy and questionnaires. The results, PISA questionnaire contains a lot of elements in the school library and PISA is consistent with standards for the 21st-century learner of AASL.

새 정부는 국민의 행복실현을 위해 안전의 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 이에 해양수산부에서도 해양사고 30% 감소를 목표로 해양안전실천운동본부 발대식 및 해양안전헌장 선포, 선박안전관리자협의회 출범 등 민 관이 함께 해양에서의 안전 확보에 노력하고 있다. 그러나 안전관리의 주체인 해운선사의 안전관리 수준을 객관적으로 평가하기 위한 평가지표 및 안전관리 평가시스템 등은 없는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도로, 철도, 항공 등 타 분야의 안전관리 정보시스템 구축 및 운영사례를 조사 분석하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 또한 해운선사의 안전관리 수준을 평가하기 위해 해양사고정보, 항만국통제 점검결과, 안전관리체제 심사결과 데이터를 분석하여 이들 데이터를 통합 관리할 수 있는 데이터베이스의 구축, 평가프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 안전관리 평가시스템을 이용하여 해양안전 우수사업자 평가업무, 우수 선박관리사업자 인증업무 등에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Major proposes of this study are to analyze Korean Shipbuilding's production network and cooperation between related firms and to understand their spatial features. The Geographical study about networks has focused on automobiles, electronics or communications industries. That's because those industries have distinctive spatial features thanks to the full growth of subcontract structures. The labor-centered, capital-centered shipbuilding industry, differently from other manufacturing industries, has production networks where outside trades are common. Today internet based communication is being reinforced and the flexibility of purchase circumstances is being positively proceeded. The central axes of the production network of Sumsung shipbuilding are internationally Europe and Asian area, nationally Busan and Gyeongnam province and Seoul Metropolitan areas, locally inside subcontracting firms. And In order to construct mutual trust with cooperation firms, Sumsung shipbuilding is trying to reinforce two-way cooperation relation through 'SungJoHoi' organized with outside subcontracting firms and 'inside cooperation firms conference'. In conclusion, Sumsung shipbuilding is trying to strengthen the competitiveness of shipbuilding industry, spatially by setting up the network through globalization-localization and functionally by constructing the partnership production network for mutual communication.

최근 들어 미국, 유럽, 인도 등과의 FTA체결 등을 통해서 대한민국의 경제시장이 날로 증가해가고 있으며, 이제 해외와의 협력은 우리에게 선택이 아닌 필수가 되어가고 있다. 얼마 전 한 신문에 국내기업과 일본기업의 경쟁력을 비교하는 흥미로운 기사가 소개되었다. 이 신문에서는 국내기업들이 한정된 내수시장을 극복하기 위해 해외로 적극적으로 진출하였기 때문에 우수한 경쟁력을 확보하였으며, 반면 일본기업의 경우 안정된 내수시장이 오히려 해외로 진출할 기회를 가로막아 스스로와 경쟁력을 감퇴시켰다고 분석하였다. 이러한 사례는 우리 대학들에 시사하는 바가 크다. 우리 대학들의 주요한 연구성과라 할 수 있는 논문의 경우 이공계를 보면 대다수의 논문이 이미 해외의 각종 유명 학술지에 게재되고 있다. 특히 우수한 연구성과의 산물이라 할 수 있는 SCI논문의 경우 2008년기준으로 경제규모에 걸맞은 세계 12위에 랭크되어 있다. 또한 특허의 경우 이미 세계 4위의 출원대국이다. 이러한 성과로 인하여 국제공개어에 한글이 채택되는 성과까지 거두고 있는 상황이다. 또한 MB정부가 들어서면서 매년 R&D연구비를 10%이상 증가시킬 계획에 있으며, 이러한 노력을 통해 연구성과물의 수준도 향상되어 SCIENCE, CELL, NATURE등의 저명학술지 게재가 늘고 있는 등 연구성과가 세계적인 수준으로 접근해가고 있다. 반면에 이러한 성과에도 불구하고 아직 대다수 대학들의 글로벌 산학협력은 미비한 수준이다. 교육분야에 대한 글로벌화는 최근 들어 많은 변화가 이루어지고 있지만, 산학협력부분에 대한 글로벌화는 활성화 되지 못한 것이 현실이다. 그러나 앞으로 해외와의 산학협력은 대학과 연구자에게 선택이 아닌 필수가 될 전망이다. 정부에서는 현재 국제협력 분야의 R&D연구비를 급증시키고 있으며, 우리나라의 기업이 해외로 활발하게 진출하는 상황에서 이제 연구수준도 국내가 아닌 해외에서도 인정받을 수 있는 수준을 요구 받고 있다. 이와 같이 급변하는 상황에서 이제 해외와의 산학협력은 대학과 연구자들에게 새로운 도전이며, 경쟁력을 업그레이드 할 수 있는 기회로 다가오고 있다. 이에 최근 한양대학교의 해외와 기술이전, 사업화, 공동연구, R&D센터유치와 관련된 산학협력 사례 소개를 통해 우리나라 대학의 산학협력을 업그레이드하는 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.

This study examines factors that influence adolescents' political trust in Asian societies with special emphases on authoritarian orientations and corruption perception. Previous studies on adolescents' political trust have focused almost exclusively on Western societies. As a result, the impact of other cultural values that are specific to Asian societies, such as authoritarian orientations, on adolescents' political trust has received little attention in the existing literature. Moreover, situated within a socialization framework which argues that political trust is an extension of interpersonal trust, much prior work has ignored the role of adolescent evaluations of institutional performance in generating political trust. The data I use offer empirical evidence that both authoritarian orientations and institutional performance-especially its ability to curb corruption-are independent sources of political trust among Asian adolescents and that the trust-eroding effect of corruption is less salient among Asian adolescents adopting more authoritarian orientations. Additionally, the evidence also suggests that corruption perception is a more important factor than authoritarian orientations in shaping adolescents' political trust in more economically developed countries while the reverse pattern is found in less developed countries.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has set up the Global Aviation Security Plan (GASeP), which urges member states to transition to more advanced security systems. This paper examines advanced aviation security policies and technologies at both domestic and international levels, and also investigates the underlying reasons for the challenges faced in establishing an advanced security system in the Republic of Korea. Based on this analysis, we propose effective strategies for deploying advanced security equipment at domestic airports, taking into consideration their respective classifications. Additionally, we identify the need for establishing new technological standards to introduce an advanced aviation security system, and provide evaluation criteria for the maintenance and management of technology to ensure the smooth operation of advanced security equipment.

전라남도와 경상남도는 강 하나를 사이에 둔 아주 가까운 이웃이며, 주민생활권이나 지역경제권이 상로연계성을 갖고 있다. 뿐만아니라 사회, 경제 문화와 보유자원의 여러 측면에서도 상로 본완적 성격을 갖고 있는 지역이다. 따라서 대승적 차원에서 볼 때 국토의 균형박전을 도모하고 진정한 동서화합을 위해 상로연계성을 갖고 있는 광양만, 진주권 광역새발을 공동으로 추진하여 동시화합의 대전기를 마련하는 계기로 삼아야 할 것이다. 이러한 차원에서 동서지역의 광역개발 필요성을 요약하면, 첫째, 최근 일정지역의 행정구역을 넘어서 인구와 물자 및 자원의 이용이 활발하게 이러나고 있어 통합적 계획 및 집행이 요구된고 있다. 따라서 광양만 진주권개발은 2개도에 걸쳐 광역개발권역을 설정한 우리나라 최초의 시범적인 계획으로써 세계적인 관심을 보이고 있다. 둘째, 국가경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 신산업지대의 조성과 연계교통망의 구축이 요망된다. 셋째 국토균형발전을 위해 수도권에 대응한 지방거점 도시권의 육성이 팽배하며, 넷째, 중북투자를 피하고 상호보완적인 기능을 극대화하여 진정한 동서화합에 대한 시대적 여청이 증대되고 있는 시절이다. 따라서 광양만 진주권 광역개발의 기본구상은 우선 경제적 물리적통합으로 실절적인 동서이익을 보색하는 차원에서 추진되어야 한다. 그리고 광양함을 국제물류의 중심지로 확충하고 주변지역에 대규모 물류 유통 및 국제기능을 유치하여 국제적 교류거점으로서의 기반 조성을 강화 하여야 한다. 또한 국제관광벨트 및 신산업지대의 형성과 함께 세계화 고속화에 걸맞는 교통기반시설을 정비하는 한편 자연친화적인 개발전략을 이룩함으로써 지구촌 경제하에시 지역균형개발과 지역의 국제경쟁역 확보차원에서 실현되어야 한다. 나아가 과양만권과 진주권의 경제 사회적인 통합을 달성함으로써 국민적 염원인 동서화합의 장으로 승화 발전 시킬 수 있도록 공간구조 및 기능의 분담배분이 요구된다. 기능은 동시지역을 연결하는 통합적인 기능 분담으로 과양만은 생산 및 물류지원기능의 강화와 전주 사천권은 첨단산업 연구 및 지원기능의 강화차원에서 배분이 요구된다. 이러한 광역개발계획이 세계적으로 추진될 때에 진정한 동서화합은 가능할 것이다. 따라서 진정한 도서화합을 유도하기 위해서는 광역개발을 실펀하기 위한 제도적인 협력체계의 구축이 요구된다. 동서지역의 광영개발을 위한 협력체계의 구축 방안은 첫째, 양 지역간에 협약제도르 도입함으로써 광역개발의 집행력을 강화하여야 한다. 즉, 개별 개발사업별로는 협약이 체결됨으로써 자치단체간의 역활분담이 분명하고 여차별 예산의 확보는 물론 사업시행이 구체화 될 수 있기 때문이다. 둘째는 양 자치단체간의 광역행정을 진담하는 기구의 절차가 필요한다. 광역개발 계획 추진 뿐만아니라 실질적으로 양권역이 공존공영을 위해 필요한 사업들을 추진 할 수 있도록 협의회 기능을 보완한 새로운 전담기구의 설치가 필요하다. 셋째. 광양만 진주권 광역개발 계획은 동서지역의 화합이라는 상징적인 의미를 지니고 있다. 따라서 중앙정부는 동서지역간의 진정한 화합을 유도하기 위해 제주도개발 특별법과 같은 �G동서지역개발 특별법�H을 제정하여 종합적이고 체계적인 개발을 유도 하여야 한다. 지역발전을 이룩할 수 있도록 자속적인 노력이 필요하다.

Since the release of the 2000 PISA results, Finland's education has consistently been regarded as a competitor or benchmark for South Korea's educational system. However, recent indicators of division, opposition, and discontent within our educational sphere suggest a considerable departure from Finland's ethos of happiness in education. Against this backdrop, this study aims to analyze the trends in Finnish education-related research appearing in Korean academic journals. Utilizing network text analysis, we examined 160 papers indexed in RISS with titles containing "Finland" and "education". Key findings are as follows. Firstly, research on Finnish education has been steadily increasing, albeit showing recent signs of decline. Secondly, the majority of research topics were micro-level, with literature review-based methodologies predominating. Thirdly, a minority of researchers accounted for one-third of the total research output. Fourthly, countries compared with Finland predominantly included neoliberal states such as Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore. Fifthly, research themes and subjects primarily focused on primary and secondary education, particularly in domains such as mathematics and science, influenced by PISA. Future research on Finnish education should transcend localized and fragmented areas of inquiry, undertaking comprehensive investigations into the processes and history of Finland's happiness-oriented education. Such endeavors are essential for deriving insights crucial for our learning. Particularly, consideration should be given to moving beyond literature-based methodologies, fostering international collaborative discussions facilitated online, and linking the Finnish education community with educators, parents, students, local councils, and governmental stakeholders to collectively discuss and research.
