An Approach to the Logistics Outsourcing Factors of the Korean Companies (한국 기업의 물류아웃소싱 활용요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to understand the conditions for using logistics outsourcing of Korean enterprises, present existing problems, examine factors affecting utility, and analyze the pattern of logistics outsourcing based on contract term, and to ultimately contribute to enhancing competitiveness of logistics enterprises. Through the literature survey 8 factors were identified as three broad factors of corporate strategy, corporate characteristics, and environment. Factor analysis was conducted on the bases of 155 collected data among 400 distributions for 2 months from April to May in 2008. From the result of analysis, the implication and finding can be summarized into three aspects. Firstly, Korean companies value factors relative to corporate strategies as motivating factors for logistics outsourcing. Secondly, Korean companies consider logistics outsourcing depending on how to handle customers' demands and the severity of competition. Thirdly, it was found that product and organization characteristics are perceived as more important when contract term with logistics business is longer. The implications can be observed into two aspects. Firstly once the logistics outsourcing between manufacturers and logistics companies are determined, it was verified that mutual agreement, particular contracts and periodic communications can increase the outcome. Secondly the logistics outsourcing appeared to be different depending on the level of entering to foreign market and resulted in higher performance as well.

  • In this study, I have suggested a basic theories in introducing and applying EC indispensible for a positive development of international logistics' competitiveness by the Chonbuk firms, and I assure that the Chonbuk firms can get a full effect in strengthening international competitiveness in worldwide trade war by effectively utilizing the application method suggested in this study as well as by erecting its basic direction. Our market faced an accelerating pressure against a full-scale market opening with the WTO system, and our Chonbuk firms will face a danger that all the markets, domestic and international will be occupied by the foreign enterprises, for we can not win the competition with the foreign enterprises, provided that we do not prepare for the rationalization and effectiveness of management. It will be very significant for our Chonbuk firms to introduce and utilize EC as a method for innovation and rationalization of management as well as a method for strengthening international competitiveness. This study will serve the study of this field, for the purpose of this study is on analyzing its propriety in introducing and utilizing EC. It will guarantee the importance that this study helps the Chonbuk firms to upgrade understanding on introduction and utilization of EC for strengthening their logistics competitiveness, and this study serves to improve international competitiveness in an era of information and globalization.

  • 2014년 우리나라 선용품 시장의 규모는 5조 7천400억 원 정도로 추정된다. 대부분이 부산, 울산 등 부산권에서 이뤄지지만 관련업체가 400여 개나 난립해 대부분 평균 매출이 20여억 원으로 영세한 수준이다. 또한 세계 해운항만산업의 불황과 중국을 비롯한 개발도상국들의 저가 선용품의 생산 및 공급으로 인해 국내 선용품 업계가 그다지 밝지 않는 상황이다. 이렇듯 영세한 선용품 산업을 발전시키기 위해서 부산시에서는 부산항국제선용품유통센터 내에 공동물류(창고)를 운영을 제시하였으며 이를 세부적으로 파악하기 위해 성공적 방안 요인 16개의 도출하여 AHP와 IP분석을 사용하여 전략적 방안을 제시하였다.${\cdots}$ (중략) ${\cdots}$.

  • Africa has got largely attention from around the world and industrial advanced countries mainly have focused their interest on the continent for the purposes of natural resources development or economic cooperation. Such is in part for their exploiting new logistics. Central America, Oceania and Africa are together now emerging as a new mecca for resources development and global logistics. Considering that Western countries are heavily investing in and preoccupying both social overhead infrastructure and logistics in Africa, it is expected that it will be new opportunities for domestic logistics companies. This research is focused on studying strategies for logistics companies to open Africa, especially Northern African market. For this, the method of questionnaire is applied for related companies. And it also considers proper time for the opening the market, how to enter, geographical market range and interests of countries there. From the result, it is important the timing for entering the market, which means competitive edge gets better with fast making inroads into the market. And strategic alliance is revealed more effective. In addition, geographical market range is another important factor in low infrastructure of logistics in Africa. It is shown that relations between governments have directly effect on business activities. It should be kept in mind that African countries have their big influences on the market.

The effects of Logistics Performance Index on International Trade of Korea (교역 상대국의 물류성과지표가 한국 무역에 미치는 영향)

  • Logistics and transportation are increasingly playing a crucial role in international trade relations. Logistics services provide sectoral connections within the local economy. The efficient logistics services facilitate the flow of products; besides ensuring safety and speed of movement, they can reduce the cost of cross-border trade. The Logistics Performance Index (LPI) evaluates the efficiency of customs, quality of transportation service, and infrastructure for overland and maritime transport in each country it covers. The objective of this article is to analyze the impact of the various LPI indicators of Korea's trading partners. The impact of LPI on trade varies according to the income level of the trading partners. The results show that an improvement in any of the components of the LPI can lead to significant growth in a country's trade flow. Exports to Korea will increase as the LPI of the trading partner country is higher. This index has a greater impact on the exports of low-income countries.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study on the third party logistics service enforcement of inland container depot at Pusan area. The main results of this paper are as follows: First, the inland container depot related to location selecting factor researches analyzed and korean TPL market reviewed. Second, the TPL service function reinforcement method and investments are mentioned. In detail the 9 factors are as follows: competitive high position and improvements of harbor back complex, ICD goods enterprise investment strategies, the harbor back which is inexpensive only the rent, taxes benefit and incentive, site security and base facility expansion, the goods service provision which is flexible, connection plan construction of goods enterprise, the incentive strategic establishment which is discriminated, the marketing activity which is long-term. and lastly the ICD and TPL Policy are needed that government and logistic enterprise's cooperation gains competitive advantage.

공항의 대 항공사 마케팅 전략-인천국제공항의 국제 허브화를 위하여-

  • 아시아지역은 경제적 침체기에서 서서히 회복되어가면서 항공교통수요 또한 경제적 위기 이전의 수준으로 회복해가고 있고 21세기의 새로운 출발과 동북아지역 국가들의 경제활동 활성화로 새로운 항공교통수요가 증대되어가고 있는 시점이다. 동북아 국가들은 자국의 경제 활성화를 위해 공항의 새로운 건설과 확장 등을 계획$.$실행해오고 있으며, 이를 통하여 동북아지역에서의 항공산업의 우위성을 확보하려하고 있다. 중국, 일본 등 우리나라와 경쟁관계에 있는 나라들이 기존 공항의 확장과 신설을 통해 경쟁력을 높이려하고 있으며, 공항의 경쟁력을 높이는데 필수적 요소 중의 하나인 외국 항공사의 유치를 위한 對항공사 마케팅을 다양하고 구체적인 방법으로 실행하고 있다. 우리나라도 2001년 동북아의 중추적인 공항의 건설과 개항을 맞이하여 이들 경쟁공항과의 경쟁에서 우위성을 확보하기 위한 하나의 방안으로서 자국 및 외국항공사의 비행편 유치에 대한 공항마케팅 측면에서의 접근이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구는 우리나라와 지리적인 국토면적 여건이 비슷한 암스테르담 스키폴공항, 히드로공항 등의 공항들이 취하고 있는 대항공사마케팅 정책과 대항공사 유치를 위해 현재 실행하고 있는 방법들을 통해 앞으로 인천국제공항이 공항마케팅에서의 대항공사 마케팅 전략 수립시 고려 방안들을 제시하고자한다. 이에 공항마케팅의 일반적인 고찰과 외국 선진공항들의 대항공사마케팅전략을 고찰하고, 현재 인천국제공항의 경쟁공항인 동북아지역의 중국 및 일본 공항들의 현황등을 살펴보고자 한다. 마지막으로는 계량적 방법과 문헌들을 통해 여러 가지 방안들을 고려하여 인천국제공항이 실행하여야하는 대항공사마케팅전략방안을 제시하여 본 연구의 목적을 달성하려한다. 및 화물교통량의 증가를 예상하여 5%, 10%, 20%의 증가에 대한 민감도 분석을 실시한 결과 대안1의 경우 교통량의 변화 및 화물통행의 시간가치의 증가시 사회적 편익이 오히려 감소하였고, 대안2와 3의 경우 사회적 편익이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 경부고속도로의 화물차량의 구성비에 따라 대안 1의 경우 오히려 화물차의 통행시간이 증가함에 그 원인이 있다 할 것이다. 이상과 같은 결론을 통하여 경부고속도로상의 화물전용차선의 설치시는 수답렬 교통량의 구성비와 구간 평균교통량에 의하여 그 효과가 다르게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 물류비용 절감차원에서의 화물전용차선의 설치는 본 연구에서 나타낸 방법과 같이 수단간의 경제적 편익을 고려한 구간별 시간대별 효과분석을 통하여 정책의 시행여부가 결정되어야 할 것이다. 한편, 화물전용차선의 설치로 인한 물류비용의 절감을 보다 효과적으로 달성하기 위해서는 종합류류 전산망의 시급한 구축과 함께 화물차의 적재율을 높이고 공차율을 낮출 수 있는 운송체계의 수립이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 그라나 이러한 화물전용차선의 효과는 단기적인 치유책일 수밖에 없기 때문에 물류유통 시설의 확충을 위한 사회간접자본의 구축을 서둘러 시행하여야 할 것이다.으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다..   • Recently leading edge companies use the Supply Chain Management as a competitive weapon to secure and maintain customer loyalty. As a consequency they are concentrating resources on the company’s core business and employing strategic alliances with third-party providers to ensure the company provides its customers’desired logistics service levels at acceptable costs. Under this circumstances this paper surveys the third party logistics as a leading edge logistics industry coping with the progress of the supply chain management. The status and the type of the TPL including the Forwarder are analyzed in the view point of global logistics. Also the development strategy of third party logistics in the future is suggested.

  • This study attempts to represent schemes to cope with the challenge of internet-based e-commerce. There are unexpectable changes in the international Logistics industry. First, Bolero project is introduced to exchange trade documents and data via the internet. It acts as a neutral third party to ensure secure delivery and receipt of information and provides a legal framework. Secondly a number of leading International logistics companies and constituent members have made an effort to establish the portal site to connect the constituent members concerning by the same cyber environment. This study reviews the current status on this trend and points out a number of issues originated from the trend and represents the way of globalization in the international logistics industry.

  • We call this world network society. Logistics is one of important network systems which connect people, materials and information. The World Economy Conditions of 21st Century has been Changed so rapidly. These Changes are more conspicuous in Northeast Asia than other Regions. China, North Korea and Russia have reformed their Economical and Social Systems, which enlarged the Trade Volume and Traffic Demand in this Area and between Europe. The Railway System Crossing the Eurasia Continent, such as TSR(Trans Siberian Railway), TCR(Trans China Railway), TMR(Trans Manchuria Railway), TMGR(Trans Mongolia Railway) and TKR(Trans Korea Railway), have been becoming very important to enhance the International Transportation efficiency and to connect each continents by International Railways. This Paper investigated and surveyed the logistical Environments surrounding this Korea Peninsula. And concerned with the Crossing Continents Railway, TSR,TCR(TMR, TMGR), TKR, operating Conditions and Tasks that must be considered and solved were also investigated. Especially the Current Logistical Conditions of China, Russia, and North Korea and their Problems were surveyed. And the SWOT of these Railways were analyzed and compared. The Visions and Goals of these Inter-Continental Railways were suggested in terms of their Rationalization of Operations and efficient Connections among many Countries. Not only the Policies and Strategies/Tactics which should be considered but also and Many detail countermeasures which should be introduced and adopted were suggested.
