LBS가 기본적으로 이동통신 기지국과 위성위치확인시스템(GPS:Global Positioning System)을 통해 개인이나 차량의 위치 정보를 파악하고, 이를 기반으로 각종 첨단 서비스를 제공하다보니, 이통사의 핵심 서비스로 발전되고 있는 것은 틀림없다. 특히 과거 국방.교통.물료 및 환경 분야에서 사용되던 GPS기반의 LBS기술이 이동통신망과 연결되면서 대중적이고 일반적인 서비스로 발전해 나가고 있어 향후 이통사들의 먹거리로 손색없다는 평가를 받고 있다.

The change of information and communications technology affects into many parts of military battlefield as the future warfare will be information-oriented warfare, relying on information technology. The more IT-based military systems are deployed the more multimedia data traffic increase. To accommodate such user's requirements the bandwidth capacity of military communications network must be upgraded. The cost of upgrading network capacity is increasing as well. But there has no systematic estimation approach to analyze the amount of data traffic in the military network. In this paper we suggest an efficient data traffic estimation technique using network simulation with the respect of Input and output, scenario, toolset and technique, and experimental environments.

None of the recent cases of military secret leakages have leaked internal information using networks. This is because the Internet and the Intranet are physically separated, and has a difficult process when transmitting and receiving data through the Internet. Therefore, most of the leaked paths are to copy and hand over secrets, shoot and send them with a smartphone, or disclose after remembering them. So, the technology of blocking and detecting military secret leakages through the network is not effective. The purpose of this research is to propose a method to prevent information leakage by focusing on the insider behaviors, the subject of leakage, rather than the military secret. The first is a preventive measure to prevent the leakage behavior of military secrets, the second is to block suspicious access to the military secret data, and the last is to detect the leakage behavior by insiders.

본 논문에서는 DAMA (Demand Assigned Multiple Access) 방식의 MF-TDMA ((Multi Frequency-Time Division Multiple Access) 시스템을 사용하는 위성통신망에서 QoS (Quality of Service) 성능의 보장 및 향상을 위한 효율적인 QoS 맵핑 기술을 제안한다. 제안하는 QoS 맵핑 기술은 트래픽의 패킷 우선순위와 함께 송수신 가입자 우선순위 및 위성통신망의 링크상태에 따라 트래픽의 QoS 우선순위를 결정한다. 따라서, 효과적인 트래픽 우선순위의 차별화를 통해 트래픽의 자원할당 및 전송의 QoS 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Metro Ethernet 서비스는 기존의 라우터나 광전송장비를 거치지 않고 기가비트 이더넷으로 구성된 망을 이용해 스위치만으로 LAN과 같이 연결하는 서비스이다. 이 메트로 이더넷은 기존 SONET과는 달리 패킷교환 방식이므로 링크 대역폭의 효율적인 공유, 저렴한 칩과 장비, 사용자가 원하는 다양한 대역폭 할당, 피리고 인터넷 사용자의 증가와 원하는 대역폭의 증가로 등장하게 되었다. Metro Fiber Ethernet에 적용되는 기술로는 패킷분류화, 포트전송율 제어, QoS, 망복구 능련, 이더넷 VPN, 트래픽 엔지니어링 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기술들을 이용한 Metro Ethernet을 국방망에 적용함으로써 초고속 국방 통신망 구축을 제안하고자 한다.

Recently, threats of hacking have been increasing on the national intelligence service network and key infrastructure, including the defense field. The defense information system responds to threats from the outside through the network separation, but if the defense information system is hacked, it has a serious impact on the operations of wartime or peacetime military forces. Today, cyberattacks and threats are rising to unpredictable levels and making it practically impossible to completely block and prevent hacking threats completly. So, in this study proposed a maturity model to assess the level of cyber-resilience, which is the ability to ensure the system's viability and maintain continuity through rapid response and recovery if signs of cyberattacks by the defense information system are expected or occurred. The proposed maturity model is expected to contribute to improving the cyber security level of the defense information system by assessing the level of cyber resilience of the defense information system and identifying and supplementing fields that are lacking.

'96년도 각 부처별 정보화 정책과 정보산업육성시책을 종합적으로 파악할 수 있으며 또한 자사의 사업수립과 경영활동에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 보며, 본고에서는 정보화 정책 포럼(정보통신부, 초고속정보통신망구축기획단, 교육부, 국방부, 건설교통부, 총무처, 통상산업부 내무부) 내용중 '96년도 사업계획을 발췌하여 게재하였다.

최근 인터넷 사용의 급격한 확산으로 인해, 이제까지 전화망을 위주로 발전되어 왔던 통신망의 구조에 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 최근 우리나라에서도 지식 정보사회의 기반이 되는 초고속 정보통신망으로의 접속으로 발전되고 있으며, 이용 환경을 무선 방식으로 제공할 수 있는 30 GHz 주변 대역에서 BWLL 용 주파수를 할당하고 있다. 또한 실내용 초고속 무선 LAN, 차량 충돌 방지 시스템 등을 비롯한 Intelligent Transportation System, 그리고 국방 기술 둥 여러 분야에서 밀리미터파 대역 신호를 사용한 기술 개발이 요구되고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 밀리미터파를 생성하기 위한 여러가지 방법들을 설명하고, Sideband injection locking 방법을 제안하여 수치적인 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 가능성을 분석하였다.

The limits of current DN(Defense networks), private and closed network, become to reality; for Example, high expense of construction and maintenance of networks, restriction of new subscribers on DN. Therefore, a network using web environment that reflect fast development of If and IS(Information Security) technology is demanded for MND. Meeting the requirement of reliable IS system and extension and improvement of DN using common network, we can reduce the expense to extend, maintain, repair DN, form the environment that makes military business cooperate better with civil company and government agency, advance implementing Defense computing and networking service for field small size units that was a exception of Defense digitalization. But it is essential to construct DN based on common network that there are security requisites; confidentiality, integrity, availability, efficiency, log, backup, restoration, that have to be realized at demanding level for IS. This thesis suggested four measurements; replacement DN with common network to resolve the requirements of building new network and improvement of performance for private DN, linkage with common network for new requirement, distribution of traffic using common network, configuration of DN using Internet and Proposed a refinement of IS management organization to treat security threat of common network flexibly, and LAN IS standard model of DN based on the web environment.

위치기반서비스는 기본적으로 사용자의 위치를 파악해야 한다. 측위방법은 옥외용과 옥내용으로 구분되며, 옥외용에는 GPS 방법, 이동통신망을 이용한 방법, GPS와 이동통신망을 복합적으로 활용한 방법이 있고 옥내용에는 RF 신호를 이용한 RADAR가 있다. GPS 방법은 미 국방성의 선택적 제공 때문에 큰 오차가 불가피하다. 한편 RADAR 방식은 오차가 작으나 옥내에서만 적용이 가능하다. 근래에는 대학 캠퍼스마다 무선LAN을 서비스하지 않는 곳이 없다. 본 논문은 무선LAN용 AP의 신호의 세기(RSSI)를 이용하여 정확도를 제고하는 옥외 측위방법을 제안한다. GPS를 이용한 측위와 제안하는 RSSI를 이용한 방법의 정확도를 실험적으로 비교한 결과를 소개하고, GPS 데이터와 RSSI를 함께 고려한 측위 방법과의 비교 결과도 소개한다.
