Global cosmetic corporations take about 40% of Korean cosmetic market in a short period, and will expand their share rate. Furthermore, Korean main cosmetic market channel has been changed from cosmetic shop to diverse channels in accordance with Korean consumer's trends. Therefore, Korean cosmetic corporations must response to the global competitors and the changed market factors simultaneously with an effective business strategy. This paper suggests the effective business strategy to keep and raise the market share against the global cosmetic corporations, and response to the changed market situation.

Reliable dynamic analysis is essential in order to properly maintain structures so that structural hazards may be minimized. The finite element method (FEM) is proven to be an affective approximate method of structural analysis if proper element types and meshes are chosen. When the method is applied to dynamics analyzed in time domain, the meshes may need to be modified at each time step. As many meshes need to be generated, adaptive mesh generation schemes have become an important part in complex time domain dynamic finite element analyses of structures. In this paper, an adaptive mesh generation scheme for dynamic finite element analyses of structures is described. The concept of representative strain value is used for error estimates and the refinements of meshes use combinations of the h-method (node movement) and the r-method (element division). The validity of the scheme is shown through a cantilever beam example under a concentrated load with varying values. The example shows reasonable accuracy and efficient computing time. Furthermore, the study shows the potential for the scheme's effective use in complex structural dynamic problems such as those under seismic or erratic wind loads.

In 2004, in order to create core competences and major growth drivers for endogenous regional developments, the Korean government adopted the policies for establishing regional innovation systems, The main organization for the policies is the regional innovation council which is composed of diverse groups of scholars, professionals, and government officials. The regional innovation council of Kang-won Province consists of a couple of sub-divisions such as Operation Committee, Administration Office, Planning and Moderation Department, Strategic Industry Department, Culture and Tourism Industry Department, Regional Industry Department, and Regional Human Resource Development Department. The primary roles and jobs are planning, reviewing, evaluating and finalizing regional innovation policies. However, because of conflicts with local government, insufficient budget problems, organization structure problems, and decision making process problems, the regional innovation councils could not perform their original roles and functions. They could not adopt radical or non-traditional strategies. Although it's failure, a lot of people recognize the importance of regional innovation councils' roles and functions, I believe there would be another regional innovation councils coming continuously which would be take more important roles and have more power over budgeting problems. The purpose of this article is to identify the primary sources of strategies and organization structure problems of the previous regional innovation councils and to provide a couple of answers. In this paper, the author primarily analyze the problems of the Kang-won innovation council. A couple of answers to the desirable organization structures and the desirable roles of regional innovation councils will be presented for discussion.

The Korean on-line game industry is going through a rapid change. The future business environments for potential on-line game companies are very uncertain due to the new service and the different market trends. In this paper, I propose the use of morphological analysis approach for scenario generation about the future of the On-line game industry. The stages of research process were as follows; Firstly, digital contents analysis and key issues were drawn on IPTV in the on-line game industry. Secondly, each key issue was analyzed and the influence factors and directivity flow were found. Thirdly, highly probable future on-line game industry scenarios were derived. In this case, morphological analysis. On the basis of the developed scenarios, I formulated some implications for business strategy of a potential on-line game companies.

경영자를 위한 정보시스템인 EIS(Executive Information system)가 국내에 소개되면서 많은 관심을 끌고 있다. 경영자의 요구정보분석은 EIS구축의 가장 큰 난관이며 실무자들이 어려워하는 부분이다. 또한 대기업 중심으로 EIS가 구현되는 것은 국가경제에서의 중소기업의 역할을 고려할 때 바람직한 것만은 아니다. 본 연구는 경영자의 정보요구를 기업전략을 고려한 관점에서 보다 구조적으로 분석할 수 있는 방법과 중소기업에서의 EIS사용가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

고정금리 상품의 투자에서 이자율 변동 위험을 피할 수 있는 방법으로 많이 쓰이는 것은 듀레이션을 이용한 면역 모델(Bond Portfolio Immunization Model)로, 이것은 이자율 변동에 대해 포트폴리오의 가격 민감도인 듀레이션을 이용하여 자산과 부채의 변화를 일치시키는 방법이다. 그러나 이 전략은 수익률 곡선이 평형하게 이동한다는 가정(Parallel Shift Term-Structure)을 단점으로 가지고 있어 현실에 적용될 경우 오차가 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 선험적(empirical) 방법으로 평형하지 않은 움직임을 가진 기간구조의 함수(Term-Structure Function)를 정의하고 면역 모델을 부채의 현금흐름에 대해 개별적으로 적용하는 새로운 면역 전략 모델을 구성하고 실험한다

Four cargo ships were ambushed by bombs in 2019 while navigating in the Strait of Hormuz. It was not clear who attacked those ships, however, many nations including the United States argued that it was Iran due to several reasons. The United States established the maritime collective defense system named International Maritime Security Construct (IMSC) in order to protect the maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz, without disclosure against whom it is aimed. Persian, who uses the Persian language unlike other countries in the Middle East, is the major ethnic group in Iran, and most of them believe Shi'ah Islam while most of the Arabs in the Gulf countries adhere to Sunni Islam. It seems that historic and religious motives caused the bipolar system in the Middle East, however, it is plausible to analyze the system of international affairs in the Middle East via defensive or structural realism. Iran has attempted to maintain its hegemony in the region by supporting Shi'ah muslims in the neighboring countries as well as in the world by using military and economic means. In this context, Iran's maritime strategy is to maintain its maritime hegemony on the Persian Gulf via countering threats and cooperating with friendly navies by using the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy(IRIN) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy(IRGCN). IRIN acts like other navies in the world: protecting national interest at sea, expending its operational areas to the outer seas, and enhancing cooperation with other navies. Meanwhile, IRGCN plays a role as an asymmetric force at sea. It is composed of small and fast asymmetric assets, which can ambush ships fast and furious. Considering the poor study for Iran's maritime strategy in Korea, analyzing the strategy is meaningful for the Republic of Korea Navy, which has operated the Cheonghae Unit for more than ten years since it has extended its operational area over the Strait of Hormuz. In order not to be drawn into the conflict in the Strait, research on the maritime strategy of Iran and other countries in the Middle East should be started.

전 세계적으로 항공시간 전략적 제휴가 확대되고 있는 가운데 우리나라의 국적항공사들도 2001년 대한항공이 SkyTeam에 가입하였고, 2003년 아시아나 항공이 Star에 가입하였다. 그러나 국내에서 독점금지예외조항이 없어 양 항공사가 전략적 제휴 그룹 내에서 일부 활동에 제약을 받고 있는 것으로 추정된다. 미국은 항공자유화 정책의 확대 추진 전략에 따라 미국 항공사들이 외국항공사들과 전략적 제휴를 맺는 경우, 자국의 시장에서 독점금지법 조항을 면제시켜주는 제도를 실시하고 있다. 이제도로 인하여 외국 항공사들과 폭 넓은 협력 관계를 유도하고 경쟁력 있는 항공운송산업을 이끌어 가고 있다. 본 연구는 미국의 독점금지예외(ATI ; Anti-Trust Immunity)에 대한 분석을 통해 국내환경에 적용 가능한지를 살펴보고자 한다. 과거 우리 정부는 경제성장을 위해 소비자로부터 생산자에게로 경제 잉여를 집중시키는 정책을 취하였다. 개발연대 동안 우리 기업은 정부의 정책 및 제도의 도움으로 또는 묵인 하에 국내시장에서 독과점적 지위를 유지하곤 하였다. 그러나 80년대에 접어들면서 “독점규제 및 공정거래에 관한 법률”과 공정거래위원회의 발족으로 시장구조를 경쟁적으로 만들고, 소비자 후생을 증대 시키는 정책목표가 보다 중요시 되고 있다. 그러나 미국에서도 소비자 후생을 증대 시키는 정책목표가 보다 중요시 되고 있다. 그러나 미국에서도 소비자 후생과 시장구조를 경쟁적으로 만들기 위해 제정된 독점금지법의 과도한 적용이 오히려 소비자 후생을 희생시킨다는 지적이 제기되고 있다. 또한 최근의 마이크로소프트사의 판례를 통해서도 나타났듯이 우월한 효율성과 규모의 경제에 의한 독점력은 인정되어야 한다는 추세이다. 이러한 관점에서 국내항공사가 외국의 항공사와 전략적 제휴를 맺어 효율성을 유지하고 규모의 경제성을 가지므로 인하여 지닐 수 있는 경쟁력은 국내의 항공운송삼업의 육성차원에서 지원이 되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. 향후 정부는 국제항공정책에 대한 장기적인 비젼과 함께 국내 항공법에 독점금지예외조항을 도입할 필요가 있다고 본다.

The purpose of this study is to explore strategies for development which could help academic libraries expand and strengthen their significances in the midst of structural innovations for universities in Korea. In this study, the trend in changes in academic libraries affected by financial difficulties and structural reforms in universities is analyzed, and major issues and challenges that academic libraries have currently faced are investigated. Also, reviewed are strategies that major academic libraries in advanced countries have built, and it is suggested how to establish strategies for development and medium-and long-term plan for improving academic libraries. which should be carried out on the government level.
