반응성 스퍼터링에 의한 마이크로 박막 전지용 산화바나듐 박막의 제작 및 전기화학적 특성평가

  • 리튬 이차 전지를 박막화함으로써 개발된 고상의 마이크로 박막전지는 임의의 크기 및 형태로의 제작이 가능하며 액체전해질을 사용하지 않기 때문에 작동 중 열 또는 기체 생성물이 생기지 않아 높은 안정성을 갖으며 광범위한 사용 온도 범위를 가진다. 위와 같은 장점으로 인하여 충전 가능한 고상의 박막형 리튬 이차 전지는 점진적으로 그 사용 범위가 크게 확대될 것으로 판단된다. 즉, 초소형 전자, 전기 소자는 물론이며 조만간 실현될 스마트 카드, 셀루러폰 및 PCS와 같은 개인용 휴대 통신장비의 전력 공급계로의 응용이 가능할 것이다. 특히 장수명, 고에너지 밀도를 갖는 초소형의 전지를 필요로 하는 microelectronics, MEMS등에 이용될 수 있는 이차전지에 대한 요구가 점점 가시화 됨에 따라 박막공정을 이용한 이차전지개발기술이 요구되고 있으며, 박막제조기술을 이용한 고상의 박막형 및 전지에 관한 연구가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 박막형 리튬 이차전지의 Cathode 물질로써 비정질의 산화바나듐 박막을 반응성 스퍼터링에 의하여 상온에서 증착하였다. 박막형 이차전지의 여러 가지 Cathode 물질중 산화바나듐은 다른 물질들과는 달리 비정질 형태로 매우 우수한 충방전 특성을 나타낸다. 이런 특성으로 인해 다소 전지자체의 성능은 낮지만 저전력 저전압을 필요로 하는 초소형 전자 소자와 혼성되어 이용할 수 있는 잠재성이 매우 높은 물질이다. 바나듐 타겟의 경우 타겟 표면의 ageing에 따라 증착되는 박막의 특성이 매우 달라지게 되므로 presputtering의 시간을 변화시키면서 실험하였다. 또한 스퍼터링 중의 산소의 분압도 타겟의 ageing에 많은 영향을 주므로 실험 변수로 산소분압을 변화시키면서 실험하였다. 증착된 산화바나듐 박막의 표면은 scanning electron microscopy로 분석하였으며 구조 분석은 X-선 회절분석, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy 그리고Auger electron spectroscope로 하였다. 증착된 산화바나듐 박막의 전기화학적 특성을 분석하기 위하여 리튬 메탈을 anode로 하고 EC:DMC=1:1, 1M LiPF6 액체 전해질을 사용한 Half-Cell를 구성하여 200회 이상의 정전류 충 방전 시험을 행하였다. Half-Cell test 결과 박막의 결정성과 표면상태에 따라 매우 다른 전지 특성을 나타내었다.

  • The hydrogen embrittlement of metallic materials is an important issue from the viewpoint of structural integrity. In this regard, the estimation of mechanical properties and fracture toughness under hydrogen conditions provides very important data. This study provides an experimental validation of the approach for simulating the small punch of Inconel 617 using finite element damage analysis, as recently proposed by the authors, and applies an inverse method for the determination of the constitutive tensile behavior of materials. The mechanical properties obtained from the inverse method are compared with those obtained from the tensile test and validated. The mechanical properties and fracture toughness are predicted by using the inverse method and finite element damage analysis.

A Study on the Mythological Analysis of Animation (애니메이션의 신화적 분석에 관한 연구)

  • From the result of analysis to animation, it can be detected the close relation between myth and animation. As Plato mention that myth is a story. Though it is common field for many researchers on myth and animation now, but it have been performing many researches only for animation narrative in the aspect of myth. Therefore this study will be examined that the ritual ceremony, the frequency of participation, and imagination of myth can be related with animation directly. The ritual ceremony is a similar activity to go to theater for watching animation. It can be merged into the unconsciousness state while awaken state. A high frequency of ritual ceremony can also be provide the experience of shortening a distance between the present and the ancient time of mythical aura. Last, imagination is an enemy of rational thoughts, however, it is vital source and material which was created by myth and it can also create new animation. It will be formulated a methodology for this paper which are three elements for an analogizing tool with new mythological approaches, it is inclusive method for animation and myth. So it can be applied and analyzed to other visual media with this methodology.

Volumetric Image System for High Efficiency Video Coding (고효율 비디오코딩을 위한 입체영상시스템)

  • Volumetric image system has many applications recently in education, 3D movie, medical images but these applications have several problems that need to be overcome. Volumetric display may process a amount of visual data and design the high efficient vision system for realtime display. In case of stereo system for volumetric display motion vectors, disparity vectors from the stereoscopic sequences and residual images with the reference images has been transmitted, and the stereoscopic sequences have been reconstructed at the receiver for volumetric display. So central issue for the design of efficient volumetric image system lies in selecting an appropriate stereo matching and robust vision system. In this paper, we proposed high efficient vision system, which design vision stage with rotating and moving horizontally, and match the successive stereo image efficiently. In experimental results with volumetric image system, the proposed method represents high efficiency with minimizing error and low computational load for volumetric display.

Shot Boundary Detection of Video Data Based on Fuzzy Inference (퍼지 추론에 의한 비디오 데이터의 샷 경계 추출)

  • In this paper, we describe a fuzzy inference approach for detecting and classifying shot transitions in video sequences. Our approach basically extends FAM (Fuzzy Associative Memory) to detect and classify shot transitions, including cuts, fades and dissolves. We consider a set of feature values that characterize differences between two consecutive frames as input fuzzy sets, and the types of shot transitions as output fuzzy sets. The inference system proposed in this paper is mainly composed of a learning phase and an inferring phase. In the learning phase, the system initializes its basic structure by determining fuzzy membership functions and constructs fuzzy rules. In the inferring phase, the system conducts actual inference using the constructed fuzzy rules. In order to verify the performance of the proposed shot transition detection method experiments have been carried out with a video database that includes news, movies, advertisements, documentaries and music videos.

  • With the various usage of civil drones, such as hobby, filmmaking and surveillance, the need for technology that safely reconstructs software for target application domains has been increasingly rising. In order to support a reliable software integration of avionic systems, the ARINC 653 standard has been proposed and adapted mainly on manned aircrafts. Therefore, applying ARINC 653 on civil drones could be desirable. Though, various researches on implementing ARINC 653 has been conducted, there are still additional requirements to apply ARINC 653 to civil drones that use various platforms and have a wide range of use. In this paper, taking account of these requirements, we implement a portable and extensible ARINC 653 and analyze its performance. We offer the portability with the OS abstraction layer that reduces dependency on a specific operating system, and provide the design that can extend internal functions, such as partition scheduler and process scheduler.

Effects of High-salt Diet on the Mouse Adrenal Medulla (고염식이가 흰 생쥐의 부신 수질에 미치는 효과)

  • Exposure to stressful stimuli is known to activate the peripheral sympathetic nervous system and the adrenal gland. In this study, we evaluated the effects of high-salt diet on the mouse adrenal medulla using the tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) immunohistochemistry and the transmission electron microscopic observation. Immunoreactivity for TH was increased after high-salt diet. Especially, the TH immunoreactivity was stronger in 4 days high-salt diet mouse than that of 4 weeks. TH immunoreactivity was mainly present in the cytoplasm and granules of the noradrenaline cells. After high-salt diet, the noradrenaline cells exhibited the ultrastructural alterations consisting of areas of empty cytoplasm, expanded granules, and some damaged mitochondria. These results suggest that high-salt diet may be a factor of stressful stimuli on the mouse.

Detection of Video Scene Boundaries based on the Local and Global Context Information (지역 컨텍스트 및 전역 컨텍스트 정보를 이용한 비디오 장면 경계 검출)

  • Scene boundary detection is important in the understanding of semantic structure from video data. However, it is more difficult than shot change detection because scene boundary detection needs to understand semantics in video data well. In this paper, we propose a new approach to scene segmentation using contextual information in video data. The contextual information is divided into two categories: local and global contextual information. The local contextual information refers to the foreground regions' information, background and shot activity. The global contextual information refers to the video shot's environment or its relationship with other video shots. Coherence, interaction and the tempo of video shots are computed as global contextual information. Using the proposed contextual information, we detect scene boundaries. Our proposed approach consists of three consecutive steps: linking, verification, and adjusting. We experimented the proposed approach using TV dramas and movies. The detection accuracy of correct scene boundaries is over than 80%.

  • 국내의 비정형 건축물은 현재 도입기로, 동대문디자인파크, 전곡선사박물관, 부산국제영화센터 등이 건설 계획 되어지고 있지만 대부분이 실시설계 또는 착공단계에 머물고 있고, 아직까지 구체적인 시공단계에 이른 건축물이 없는 실정으로 비정형외장재의 이중곡률 (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spines)을 반영한 프로토타이핑(Prototyping), 패널화(Panelizing), 현장조립 시 기하학 통제기법, 시공오차 측정기법, As-Planned 도면과 As-Built 도면의 비교를 통한 준공도면의 작성기법 등에 대한 준비가 절실히 필요한 상황이다. 그러나 현재 비정형 건축물의 설계는 초기계획(Concept Design) 단계에서 건축가와 구조기술자의 협업 중요성만 강조되고 있고, 건축물이 비정형화됨에 따라 기하학적으로 설계 및 시공되어야 하는 건축물의 외장재에 대한 설계방법과 시공단계에서 시공품질 확보방안, 시공 하자를 유발시키는 다양한 변수에 대한 대응방안 등은 아직까지도 그 중요성을 인식하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비정형 건축물의 설계에 사용되는 Architectural Geometry Control 도구 중 그 활용성이 부각되어 지고 있는 Bentley 사의 Generative Components를 활용하여 비정형 건축물의 이중곡률 곡면외장재의 부재생산을 위한 패널화, 제작도면 추출에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다.

Depth Scaling Method of DirectX-based Stereoscopic Game Image (DirectX 기반 입체 게임 영상의 깊이감 조절 기법)

  • The development of image technologies in such area as broadcasting and movies has recently increased our attention to 3D stereoscopic images. In addition, the development of stereoscopic image representation technologies in 3D contents becomes more active over time due to the representational limitations of 2D images. Without limitation to the above-mentioned area, stereoscopic image technologies have been developed and studied so that they can be widely accessed in diverse areas including medical services and education. Due to the refined production, however, required to represent a three dimensional effects and the fatigue caused by the perception of a three dimensional effects, the stereoscopic image technologies are not combined into real time systems such as games where environments change unforeseeably. In this study we design a technique to adjust the depth scaling that will enable efficient management of a three dimensional effects and to relieve fatigue through automatic view point interval adjustment in accordance with situations based on the geometrical structure of the DirectX SDK graphic pipeline. Through this, we would like to suggest a new alternative idea to activate the production of games combined with stereoscopic image technologies.
