  • When structural analysis modelling methods of practical fields are investigated, a slab is generally modeled by a finite element mesh using plate elements and a shear wall is modeled using a shell element or wall element for 3-D structural analysis. The point worthy of notice in this practice is that a shear wall is modelled using only one wall or shell element divided by floors and column lines to produce structural models. The modeling method like this can cause analysis errors according to the type of computer programs in use, and these errors reduce the reliability of the analysis results. Therefore, to secure the reliability of structural analysis, studies of the causes of errors and finding reasonable modeling methods are necessary. In this study, the causes of analysis errors according to the modelling methods of a shear wall, which are used in practical fields, were investigated and some considering matters for modelling a shear wall are presented to reduce the analysis errors on these analysis results.

  • 지금까지 실무에서는 경사식 방파제 적정 단면 결정시 피복재 산정 및 설계파에 대한 파력을 산정하여 상치콘크리트 구조물의 안정성을 검토하는 것이 전부였다 하지만 현장에서 발생하는 상황은 더 많은 변수들이 작용하는 것을 보여 주고 있다. 예를 들면 파에 의하여 발생하는 투과파 및 월파로 제체의 내부 및 배면 석재의 이탈이 발생하는 경우는 익히 보아 왔던 일이지만, 반대로 월파가 발생하지 않았는데도 불구하고 제체의 침하와 배면의 석재에 이탈 즉 세굴이 발생하는 경우도 있다. (중략)

  • When applying web hacking techniques and methods it needs to configure the integrated step-by-step and run an information security. Web hackings rely upon only one way to respond to any security holes that can cause a lot. In this study the diagnostic process of cross-site scripting attacks and web hacking response procedures are designed. Response system is a framework for configuring and running a step-by-step information security. Step response model of the structure of the system design phase, measures, operational step, the steps in the method used. It is designed to secure efficiency of design phase of the system development life cycle, and combines the way in secure coding. In the use user's step, the security implementation tasks to organize the details. The methodology to be applied to the practice field if necessary, a comprehensive approach in the field can be used as a model methodology.

  • 10년도 넘었을까 모처럼 유럽을 여행할 기회가 있었다. 우리나라는 온 국토가 공사장이나 진배없던 시절이라 그곳의 풍경이 오히려 이채로웠다. 자동차를 타고 한참을 가야 그것도 별로 크지 않은 공사장을 볼 수 있었고, 그나마 신축공사 보다는 오래된 건물을 보수하는 것들이 더 많았다. 더구나 희한한 것은 대로에 면한 고색 창연한 건물의 외벽만을 텔레비전 세트처럼 남겨두고 그 뒤편에서는 전혀 새로운 공사를 하는 것도 눈에 들어왔다. 조상들의 유적을 외관만이라도 보존하도록 법제화되었으므로 여기저기 떨어져 위치한 100년도 넘은 집에다 따로따로 최신형 공작기계를 설치한 공장에서 제품을 생산하는 비능률을 감수하는 것도 볼 수 있었다. 물론 변두리 신시가지에서는 현대 감각이 물씬한 건물도 신축하고 있었는데, 대체로 리모델링 사업규모가 전체 건축 물량의 50% 정도는 될 것이라는 설명이었다. 필자는 그때 우리도 머지 않아 그런 시절이 도래할 것이라는 확신이 있었다. 더구나 그들의 건물들이 100년 이상을 버티는데 반하여 우리네 것들은 수명이 고작 20~30년 밖에 되지 못할 정도로 부실하기 때문이다. 그때부터 기존 건물의 내력 부족분을 보완하고 용도를 변경하거나 증축을 할 때 어떤 방법이 합리적일까 하는 것에 관심을 가지고 연구하게 되었다. 바닥 슬래브나 보를 잘라버리거나 새로 덧붙이기도 하고 심하면 기둥을 솎아낼 필요가 있을 수도 있다. 그러나 유감스럽게도 대부분의 경우는 그동안 열심히 고안한 방식을 실무현장에 적용할 수 있도록 받아들이는 당사자가 별로 없었다. 첫째 이유는 처음하는 일이라 말하자면 겁이 난다는 것이고, 둘째로는 새로운 방식을 믿고 시행하려 해도 실제로 책임지고 시공하겠다고 나서는 업체를 만날 수 없어서였다. 그래서 그동안 설계뿐만 아니라 시공까지 일일이 간섭하여 어렵게 시행했던 현장 경험들을 소개하여 앞으로 비슷한 조건을 만날 경우 참고할 수 있게 한다. 우선 기둥을 솎아 내는 것을 알아보고 앞으로 기둥, 보, 슬래브, 기초 등의 새로운 보강방법을 소개하고자 한다.

Soil Modelling Method to Design Bent Foundation with Drilled Shaft Pier (단일 현장타설말뚝의 설계시 지반 모델링 방법)

  • The bent foundation with single drilled shafts is suitable and economical in South Korea, which has good rock in a shallow depth. This foundation has been designed with an elastic design concept. To apply a plastic design concept written in Korea Bridge Design Criteria, a detail design regulation, which includes the method for a plastic hinge point to occur above the ground, rebar arrangement and soil modelling, should be defined. Soil modelling should be considered in the respect of structural engineer's practicality. In this paper, single drilled shaft piers with 1m diameter are constructed, and cyclic lateral load tests loaded at 4m above the ground are taken to examine the behavior. Reduced diameter shaft above the ground and remaining the steel casing under the ground were used to induce plastic hinge to occur above the ground. Simplified soil models such as elastic relation and p-y curve are adapted, and the prediction results are compared with test results. Prediction results of a model bridge were compared according to soil models with time domain analyses, and design criteria of soil were proposed.

  • Due to the characteristic of culvert structure, the standard section of the culvert has been established and applied in field. However, this becomes a limitation in selecting a section design corresponding to various field conditions although it can improve the design and applicability of culvert structure. In order to overcome this limitation, we have developed the design and application technology of culvert structure corresponding to the field conditions that various shapes of culvert structure can be covered by assembly of precast segments. Because the structural characteristics of assembling-type waterway culvert structure, the thickness of structure and amount of reinforcing rods can vary according to the fixation or internal hinge status in the connection part of precast segments. This has a strong influence on the applicability and economic efficiency of culvert structure. Accordingly, in order to suggest a reasonable modeling technique of segment connection parts, this study has conducted the field experiment and numerical analysis. According to the results of field experiment and numerical analysis, the slab, wall and base slab with mortar splice sleeves have shown that the assembling-type of waterway culvert structure behaves like an integrated structure.

An Extended Data Model based on the IFC for Representing Detailed Design Information of Steel Bridge Members (강교 부재의 상세 설계정보 표현을 위한 IFC기반의 데이터 모델 확장)

  • Extension of IFC data model for steel bridge members is proposed to represent detailed design information. First of all, the design data items and their representation method are classified by analyzing primary references such as design specification, structural calculation documents and shop drawings. Some of the classified items are enough to be represented by the existing IFC model. However, the need of additional model is noted to systematically represent the design information for other items such as stiffener, diaphragm, joint system, and shear connector. An inheritance relations and properties for added model are also defined. The application program based on the proposed data model is developed. In the end, by loading the application program on the AutoCAD 2002 program, end-users can input the design information of steel bridge members. The applicability and efficiency of the proposed data model and the program are verified by checking the section area, intervals, and interferences.

  • A conventional Design for Safety (DfS), introduced to eliminate potential hazards in the design phase proactively, has encountered persistent challenges, such as perfunctory risk assessments and hazard identifications based on 2D drawings and inefficient workflow processes. This study proposes a BIM-based approach to Design for Safety (DfS) to address the limitations of conventional methods, aiming to enhance efficiency and achieve practical safety management benefits. The proposed workflow process for BIM-based DfS has been refined and validated for on-site applicability through various case studies, including risk assessments during the design phase and field applications for safety management activities during the construction phase. Specifically, the critical process of risk assessment within the DfS methodology has also been transitioned to a BIM-based approach. This BIM-based risk assessment process has been evaluated through case studies, encompassing safety reviews for structural design, construction equipment operation, and construction methodology with sequence in design projects. Additionally, the proposed BIM-based DfS has demonstrated exceptional on-site applicability and efficiency, as validated by the application of a BIM deliverable embedded in DfS information for CDE-based daily activity briefing, VR-based safety training, AR-based mitigation measures inspections, and other safety management activities in the construction phase.

  • 창원대학교 스마트융합 메카트로닉스 인력양성 사업단의 교육 목표는 1) 창조적 교육과정을 통한 지역거점 특성화, 2) 세계적인 수준의 경쟁력을 갖춘 기술 인력 양성, 3) 분석력, 창의력, 적응력 및 설계능력을 갖춘 능동적 기술인력 양성, 4) 시대의 환경변화를 선도하는 진취적 기술인력 양성, 5) 인재공급 및 취업률향상으로 정하였다. 이를 달성하기 위한 교육전략은 1) Major전문성(메카트로닉스심화, 공통실험교육 강화), 2) Global국제적감각(팀기반능력, 근접학문이해능력), 3) Creative지속성장 (Capstone Design, 현장적응교육)으로 정하였다. 따라서 메카트로닉스공통융합심화트랙 교육과정으로 기계, 전기전자제어, 신소재분야의 공통트랙으로 이론 30학점, 실험 6학점(16과목, 36학점)을 신설하여 운영하였다. 수강지도를 통한 교차이수권장 학생들의 자율선택기반을 조성하고, 현장적응교육, 캡스톤 디자인 2과목 7학점을 수강하도록 하였다. 학생의 본인주도 학습권을 인정하여 2학년 진학 시 학생본인직접 100% 자기 전공 선택 기회 제공하는 구조조정을 실하고, 타 전공 관련정보 상호교류, 학문간 통합교육, 조직의 유연성확보가 가능하도록 하였다. 교과목(정규/비정규)개편을 통해 개선된 현장 실무 형 내실화 교육의 실시하여 취업률을 향상시켰다. 따라서 창원대학교 신소재공학부는 기계, 전기전자에 관련된 기본소양을 의무적으로 학습하기 때문에 메카트로닉스 분야에서 필요한 신소재공학도를 육성하는 기반을 마련하였다.

A State of the Art for the Vibrated Crushed-stone Compaction Pile (진동쇄석다짐말뚝공법의 기술적 수준)

  • Based from the results of various field and laboratory tests, it was determined that VCCP(Vibrated Crushed-stone Compaction Pile) Method is more effective compared to SCP(Sand Compaction Pile) Method. VCCP method effectively increases soil bearing capacity and reinforces soil and slopes, prevents liquefaction, enhances drainage. But when it comes to the engineering design these factors are not considered, instead designs are performed using practical methods and equations. Furthermore, this method is very economical since crushed stone can be used instead of sand and it can be also used in off-shore construction. In this paper, it will be synthetically considered technical state at the present time, research object after this and necessity of research for VCCP Method.
