Deposition and Characterization of SiN and SiC for Membrane Applications

  • LPCVD를 이용하여 증착한 SiN과 ECR plasma CVD를 이용하여 증착한 SiC의 물 성과 적용가능성을 시험하였다. LPCVD로 증착된 SiN은 열처리 없이 저 응력의 박막형성이 가능했으며 가시광투과도 표면 평활도 역시 우수하였다. 탄성계수 값이 크지 않아 자성센서 의 지지구조로 사용할 경우 자기공명에 의한 진동을 크게 구속하지 않아 유리할것으로 기대 된다. 반면 ECR plasma CVD로 증착된 SiC는 SiN보다는 못하지만 다른 방법에 의해 증착 된 SiC에 비해서는 가시광 투과도 및 표면 평활도가 후수하므로 X-선 조사에 대한 안정성 과 더불어 X-선 마스크용 membrane으로서 사용이 적절할 것으로생각된다.

  • This paper describes a design method using an optimization technique to satisfy the longitudinal handling quality of high maneuverable jet aircraft. The dynamic inversion technique was applied to the target aircraft, and the control gain optimization satisfied the longitudinal short-period handling quality, however, the stability margin was not considered. If the stability margin is not satisfied, it is necessary to directly readjust the gains through trial and error methods for improvement. To improve this, an additional compensator and an optimization constraint were added to the control gain optimization procedure. In addition, the degree of handling quality satisfaction with the optimization result was reevaluated, and additional control evaluation criteria for the convergence of the time response and the steady state error that the flight performance requirement set as the optimization constraint cannot be reflected, and the results are described.

  • An analysis is presented on the stability of an elastic cantilever column subjected to a concentrated follower force as to the influence of the elastic restraint and a tip mass at the free end. The elastic restraint is formed by the rotatory springs. For this purpose, the governing equations and boundary conditions are derived by using Hamilton's principle, and the critical flutter loads and frequencies are obtained from the numerical evaluation of the eigenvalue functions of the considered system.

  • 본 논문은 시스템 운동학적 자유보다도 많은 수의 input을 사용하여 비선형 구속조건을 갖는 메 카니즘의 정역학적 평형을 유지시키는 경우와 같이 일반 로봇 시스템의 협력 작업시 일어나는 antagonistic stiffness를 연구하였다. 이러한 antagonistic 상황은 coordinations of multiple manipulators, multi-fingered end-efector, walking machine, 그리고 인간의 움직임등을 포함하는 많은 로봇 시스템의 작동시에 일어난다. Antagonism으로 야기되는 stiffness는 이러한 시스템의 특성을 파악하는 좋은 척도 가 될 수 있다. Antagonistic stiffness의 개념은 시스템을 구성하는 강체들의 상대 변위의 함수로 얻어 지기 때문에 바강체들이 변형하는 특성을 나타내는 structural stiffness와는 구별된다. 따라서 이 개념은 여유입력들에 의해 얻어지는 시스템의 effective stiffness로 해석될 수 있고, 일반 로봇 mechanism의 개 경로 안정도의 척도로 이용될 수 있으며 목적에 따라서 stiffness의 제어가 가능한 비선형 spring을 만 드는 데에도 응용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 antagonism이 일어나는 몇가지 상황에서의 stiffness 특성 과 개경로 안정성 조건등을 해석적, 기하학적 관점에서 다루었다.

A Study on Control of Stable Grasping Motion for Finger Robot (손가락 로봇의 안정 파지 운동 제어에 관한 연구)

  • This paper attempts to derive and analyze the dynamic system of grasping a rigid object by means of two multi-degrees-of-freedom robot flngers with soft and deformable tips. It is shown firstly that a set of differential equation describing dynamics system of the manipulators and object together with geometric constraint of tight area-contacts is formulated by Lagrange's equation. It is shown secondly that the problems of controlling both the forces of pressing object and the rotation angle of the object under the geometric constraints are discussed. In this paper. the control method for dynamic stable grasping and enhancing dexterity in manipulating things is proposed. It is illustrated by computer simulation that the control system gives the performance improvement in the dynamic stable grasping of the dual fingers robot with soft tips.

  • 본 연구에서는 비대칭 박벽단면을 갖는 곡선보의 안정성해석을 수행할 수 있는 이론 및 엄밀해를 제시하기 위하여, 3차원 연속체로부터 유도된 평형방정식으로부터 선형화된 가상일의 원리를 적용하였다. 박벽단면의 구속된 ?(warping)과 곡률효과를 고려하고 유한한 회전각의 2차항을 포함하는 곡선보의 변위장을 도입하여 단면에 대해 적분함으로써 도심축에 대한 박벽 곡선보의 총포텐셜에너지를 유도하였다. 또한, 단순지지되고 일축대칭 단면을 갖는 박벽원형 곡선보의 면내 및 면외좌굴에 대한 엄밀해를 유도하기 위하여, 면내에 대해서는 균일압축을 받는 원형아치의 역대칭 좌굴모드에 대한 좌굴하중을 유도하고 면외좌굴에 대해서는 균일압축 및 순수휨을 받는 아치의 처짐함수를 가정하여 곡선보의 횡좌굴하중에 대한 일반해를 제시하였다.

Optimal Design of Linear Quadratic Regulator Restrict Maximum Responses of Building Structures Subject to Stochastic Excitation (확률적 가진입력을 받는 건축구조물의 최대응답 제한을 위한 선형이차안정기의 최적설계)

  • In this research, a controller design method based on optimization is proposed that can satisfy constraints on maximum responses of building structures subject to around excitation modeled by partially stochastic process. The class of controllers to be optimized is restricted to LQR. Weighting matrix on controlled outputs is used as design variable. Objective function, constraint functions and their gradients are computed by the parameterization of control gain with Riccati matrix. Full state feedback controllers designed by proposed optimization method satisfy various design objectives and their necessary maximum control forces are computed for the production of actuator. LQG controllers composed of Kalman filter and LQR designed by proposed method perform well with little deterioration. So it is possible to design output feedback controllers satisfying constraints on various maximum responses of structures.

Experimental Study on Structural Performance of Steel Slit Damper According to Restrained Out-of-plane Deformation (면외변형 구속에 따른 강재슬릿댐퍼의 구조성능에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, a supplementary detail capable of restraining out-of-plane deformation was proposed for steel slit dampers, and a constant amplitude cyclic loading test was performed with the application of the proposed detail and the shape ratio of the damper as variables. Repeated hysteresis and cumulative plastic deformation according to the test results were analyzed. Repeated hysteresis of the slit damper with the proposed detail showed a stable spindle-shaped hysteresis within the set variable range, and no out-of-plane deformation of the damper was observed until ultimate state. It was confirmed that the restraining panel effect through the application of the proposed details is effective in terms of both the strength and deformation capacity of the damper. In addition, experimental parameters for the fatigue curve evaluation of slit dampers were derived in this study. Based on the results, it is judged that quantitative comparison of structural performance with various types of seismic devices will be possible in the future.

  • Nose chine shape optimization study has been performed to maximize the directional stability at high angle of attack supersonic flow. Various chine shapes are generated using super ellipse equation. By numerically investigating the directional stability characteristics of those shapes, the baseline configuration for the shape optimization has been selected using the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. The configuration is represented by the NURBS curves which can adjust the surface geometry by the control points. The response surfaces are constructed to obtain optimum shape which has high directional stability characteristics and lift-to-drag ratio. From this study, an efficient configuration design and optimization process which utilizes the parameter-based configuration generation techniques and approximation method has been established, then 29% improvement of the directional stability by strong vortexes from chine nose is accomplished.

  • This paper is concerned with formulations of the hierarchical $C^{\circ}$-plate element on the basis of Reissner-Mindlin plate theory. On reason for the development of the aforementioned element based on Integrals of Legendre shape functions is that it is still difficult to construct elements based on h-version concepts which are accurate and stable against the shear locking effects. An adaptive mesh refinement and selective p-distribution of the polynomial degree using hp-version of the finite element method are proposed to verify the superior convergence and algorithmic efficiency with the help of the simply supported L-shaped plate problems.
