A Study on the Sewing Construction of a Girl's Double Robe - Focusing on the Double Robe of Princess Chungyun (1752-l821) in tate Chosun Dynasty (여아(女兒) 2벌 당의(唐衣)의 봉제구성에 관한 연구 -조선후기 청연군주($1752{\sim}1821$) 2벌 당의를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the sewing construction of a double robe, the difference between the single and double robe, and the size and construction method of the double robe through a close analysis of a replica to facilitate a better understanding of the robe making in late Chosun dynasty. The results were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference in the design and sewing method between the girl's robe and an adult's even though the girl's robe was much smaller. 2. The girl's robe differed from its modern counterparts in some respects: unlike modem robes, Chungyun's robe consisted of two-layers in which the four layers were sewn together and it could be seen most clearly in the way the collar was stitched only onto the outer layer. The two layers seemed to be put on successively since they were not sewn together. The inner collars of the two robes were sewn together when the maker put on a coat string to the outer robe, and the two robes were put together with hemming and blind stitch at the top of the outer collars to make the robe formally stable, which clearly distinguished the princess' robe from a single, for example, four-layered robe. The robe was constructed using traditional sewing methods including broad stitch, back stitch, hemming, and blind stitch, and each stitch was only about 1 mm wide. 3. The maker of the robe managed to construct a formally stable and aesthetically satisfactory robe with the least amount of fabric and proper sewing methods.

Biological Activities of Substance Extracted from the Fruit Body of Formitopsis rosea (잔나비버섯 자실체로부터 분리한 물질의 특성 및 생리활성)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the characteristics and biological activities of the substance extracted from the fruit body of Formitopsis rosea. The substance was extracted by hot water and then it was separated high and low molecular weight fraction by ethanol precipitation, The high molecular weight fraction was found to be a proteoglycan composed of glucose, mannose, galactose, xylose, fructose, ribose and amino acids. The amino acids of proteoglycan were mainly threonine, isoleucine, glycine, aspartic acid. Anticomplementary activity of the high molecular weight fraction was higher than that of the low molecular weight fraction. And also, the high molecular weight fraction enhanced phagocytic activity and nitric oxide production of macrophage. In enzymatic lipid peroxidation reaction with $ADP-FeCl_3-NADPH$, the lipid peroxidation was inhibited 82.4% and 86.6% by high and low molecular weight fractions, in nonenzymatic lipid peroxidation reaction, it was 83.0% and 84.6%, respectively.

사이버 아파트 네트워크 기본 설계에 관한 연구

  • 최근 정부(정보통신부)는 사이버 아파트를 포함하여 초고속 정보통신망을 2005년까지 구축하여 각 가정당 10Mbps의 고속 정보통신 서비스를 실현한다는 계획을 발표하고, 초고속 정보통신을 활성화하므로 정보통신 선진국 진입을 위하여 "초고속 정보통신 건물 인증제도"를 발표, 현재 시행하고 있다. (1999.7 제정발표) 그러나 시행 과정에서 아파트 중앙 관리실에 있는 MDF 이후의 광케이블과 기타 공사는 건설회사에서 시공하고 중앙 관리실 MDF 이전의 광케이블 공사와 중앙관리실 LAN시설 등의 공사는 통신 전문업체로 하여금, 입주자 별도 부담금으로 시공하고 있다. (컨소시엄 구성) 최근 아파트 분양열기 고조로 건설회사 마다 "초고속 정보통신 아파트"인증 1등급이라고 선전 및 분양광고 중인데 실제는 "1등급"이 아니고 "2등급" 또는 "3등급"인 경우가 있어, 정부가 목표하는 각 가정당 10Mbps, 개인당 2Mbps 고속정보통신 서비스는 실현성에 문제점이 있다. 정부의 인증심사 기준에 중앙관리실 장비 등에 대한 것은 심사기준에 누락되어 있고 또 사생활 정보보호를 위한 대응기술, 시스템 준비 정도까지 포함하여 종합적으로 평가한 뒤 인증을 부여하여야 한다는 것이 본인의 연구 초점이다. 사이버 아파트란 광통신을 주축으로 영상과 음성, 데이터를 자유자재로 전송 처리하는 초고속정보통신망을 이용하는 것으로 LAN 장비를 이용하여 각 세대간 통신은 물론 누구나 인터넷을 사용할 수 있는 기능이 있는 설계된 아파트를 말한다. 사이버 아파트의 네트워크에는 금융, 홈쇼핑, 예약, 지역정보, 관공서, 의료서비스, 레저 생활정보 등 차별화된 콘텐츠 확보가 필요하다. 본 연구의 핵심은 사이버 아파트의 현 실태와 문제점, 정부의 인증심사 기준의 미비점과 문제점, 사이버 아파트의 기능, 구성요소, 시스템 구축, 서버활용도, 장비들에 관한 것과 그리고 정부의 사이버 아파트 육성정책, 정보보호 대책과 관련업체들의 동향 등을 연구하여 요약 정리하였다.

A Study on Determinants of Franchised Coffee Shop Rents (프랜차이즈 커피점의 상가임대료 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The study has analyzed the determinants of retail rents for the franchised coffee shop with the Multi-Regression analysis in Seoul. Central place, agglomeration, and demand-externality theories provide the basis for empirical models. The data used in this study consisted of 2,000 retail units in Seoul. As the results, the results show that coffee shop of retail sales per $3.3m^2$ and characteristic of retail trade-areas, and characteristic of coffee shop affects on the coffee shop's rents per $3.3m^2$. Coffee Shop's sales are the major determinant of coffee shop's rents. Also, coffee shop's goodwill per $3.3m^2$ and rental bond per $3.3m^2$ are positively correlated with a coffee shop's rents. Additionally, number of wholesale company and manufacturers in the retail trade-areas influences coffee shop's rent per $3.3m^2$. In summary, the study shows that coffee shop's brand identity, location and retail mix in the retail trade areas affects a coffee shop's rent per $3.3m^2$.

Chemical Components in Different Parts of Pumpkin (늙은 호박의 부위별 화학성분)

  • The contents of free sugars, organic acids, amino acids, total carotenoids and pectin of pumpkin were analysed. Weight percentage of flesh was 84% of total weight. Rind and funicular attachment of seed were 10% and 3.5%, respectively. Major free sugars in pumpkin were fructose, glucose, sucrose. In flesh, fructose and glucose were the major free sugars, corresponding to 87% of total free sugars . Total sugar content in the flesh was three times higher than that in the funicular attachment of seed. Contents and composition of free amino acids were quite different according to the different parts of pumpkin. Non-volatile organic acids in pumpkin was malic, succinic and fumaric acid. The major acid in the flesh and funicular attachment of seed was malic acid and the contents in these parts were 85.2mg% and 226.5mg%, corresponding to 63% and 70% of the total organic acids, respectively. Eigh-tyseven percent of total carotenoids in the pumpkin was in the funicular attachment of seed, amounting 65.3mg%. However flesh and rind contained 6.6mg% and 3.3mg%, respectively. Water soluble pectin consisted 58% of the total soluble pectin in different parts of pumpkin, and soluble Pectin content was higher in funicular attachment of seed than in flesh. The major neutral sugars of the pectin in flesh and funicular attachment of seed were galactose and glucose consisting 45% and 36.5% of total neutral sugars.

  • The purposes of this study were to verify the status of Barrier Free Design Certification in the center for the elderly. To achieve these purposes, the architectural characteristics of the center for elderly and the status of Barrier Free Design Certification was analyzed. The results of this study were as follows. (1) The functional composition of centers for the elderly are similar regardless of the location, but the area and shape of the plot are very different according to the location. (2) According to an analysis on the status of Barrier Free Design Certification in centers for elderly, the sanitation and intermediate facilities are necessarily considerable adjustment. (3) For the accessability and conveniences of Barrier Free Design Certification in a small building, such as centers for the elderly, they are necessary to simplify the self-assessment documents, minimize the period for judging, and reducing the fees for certification.

론웍스 네트워크의 자가 진단을 지원하는 흠 제어 네트워크 구성 관리 서버의 구조

  • 본 논문에서는 홈 자동화 네트워크으로 가장 각광을 받고있는 론웍스(Lonworks) 시스템을 구성 관리하는 홈 서버 플랫폼의 새로운 구조를 제안한다. Echelon사에서 제안하는 Lonworks 시스템의 구성관리 도구로서의 LonMaker는 자체적으로 개발한 LNS (Lonworks Network Service)라고 하는 비 표준화된 구성 관리 기술을 통해서 네트워크를 관리하도록 지원하며, 상기한 LNS를 인프라로 활용하는 도구로서, LNS는 빌딩 혹은 가정 내에 Lonworks 네트워크로 연결되어 있는 디바이스들에 대한 정보를 DB화하여 구축된 자료를 기반으로 하여 디바이스들간에 연동이 가능하도록 지원한다. 그러나 고가이며, 구성 관리를 한 디바이스 개수당 가격을 별도로 지불해야 하는 로열티가 있고, 이 역시도 하드웨어 제약사양인 뉴런칩(Neuron Chip)을 사용해야 한다는 점에서 개발자로 하여금 많은 부담을 주고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 홈 자동화 네트워크 개발 시에 노드 구조를 각 응용목적에 맞도록 보다 유연성 있게 구현할 수 있도록 하는 네트워크 구성 관리 기능을 갖춘 흠 서버 플랫폼을 제안한다 제안된 흠 서버 플랫폼을 통해 제어 네트워크의 다양화와 고성능 처리의 장점을 얻을 수 있었고, 기존의 고가의 론웍스 LonMaker 소프트웨어를 사용하지 않고도 단지 리눅스 상의 무료 컴파일러인 gcc 컴파일러를 통해 홈 서버 노드를 구성할 수 있으므로 시스템 개발에 대한 비용을 많이 줄일 수 있으며, 리눅스 OS를 사용하는 홈 자동화 홈 서버 시스템으로의 파급효과가 클 것이다.

Structural Analysis of the Unusual Sugar-Containing Oligosaccharides Formed by the Selective Cleavage of Weakly Acidic Polysaccharide (약산성 다당의 선택적 분해 과정에서 얻어진 특이당 함유 Oligo당의 구조적 분석)

  • By sequential degradation using partial acid hydrolysis of a weakly acidic polysaccharide (GL-4IIb2'), two acidic oligosaccharide fragments, PA-2' and PA-1-III were isolated and their structures were characterized. PA-2' consisted of almost equal proportion of a rhamnose (Rha) and an unusual sugar, 3-deoxy-D-manno-2-octurosonic acid (Kdo). When permethylated oligosaccharide-alditol derived from PA-2' was analyzed by GC-MS, the peak gave the fragment ions at m/z 189 $(bA_1,\;6-deoxyhexose)$ and at m/z 308 $(aJ_2,\;alditol\;from\;Kdo)$. The peak also gave the characteristic ion at m/z 162 but it did not give the fragment ion at m/z 177, suggesting that Kdo is substituted at C5 but not at C4. Methylation analysis also indicated that PA-2' was composed mainly of terminal Rhap and 5-substituted Kdo. When the reduced product from PA-2' was analyzed by $^1H-NMR$, it gave a signal at 5.09 ppm due to an anomeric proton of ${\alpha}-L-Rha$. These results indicated that PA-2' mainly contained ${\alpha}-L-Rhap-(1{\rightarrow}5)-Kdo$. On the other hand, PA-1-III mainly comprised Rha and Kdo in addition to small proportions of arabinose (Ara) and 3-deoxy-D-lyxo-2-heptulosaric acid (Dha). MS analysis of permethylated oligosaccharide-alditols from PA-1-III suggested that the major peak 1P was $Rhap-(1{\rightarrow}5)-Kdo$ whereas the minor peaks 2P and 3P possessed $Araf-(1{\rightarrow}5)-Dha$ unit and these peaks were produced as epimers during reduction of carbonyl groups in Dha.

Purification and Characterization of an Anticoagulant from Corn Silk (옥발에서 항응고물질의 정제와 특성)

  • An anticoagulant was purified from corn silk which has been used in Oriental Medicine. The anticoagulant from corn silk has a molecular mass of 135 kDa, and purified by 24 folds with a recovery of 11%. It was not sensitive to heat and protease treatment. However, periodate oxidation of the anticoagulant resulted in loss of activity significantly, implying that a carbohydrate was responsible for an anticoagulant activity. Galactose, glucose, mannose, fucose, glucosamine, and galactosamine were detected after acid hydrolysis by thin layer chromatography (TLC) and Bio-LC. It was confirmed that anticoagulant had OH and NH bonds by IR, supporting that the anticoagulant is composed of neutrosugar and aminosugar. Its anticoagulating activity was measured by delay in thrombin time (TT) and prothrombin time (PT) without affecting clotting by snake venom and delay in activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT). TT was more sensitive than PT, and was delayed two and three times at the concentration of 60 and 88 nM, respectively. The anticoagulating activity was reduced in the thrombin-induced clotting assay using purified fibrinogen according to the increase of fibrinogen concentration with the apparent Ki value of 23 nM.

Component Analysis and Antioxidative Activity of Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii Nut (구실잣밤나무 열매의 성분분석 및 항산화활성 평가)

  • This study was carried out to investigate potential applications of the extract of Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii $N_{AKAI}$ nut as a functional food ingredient. The pH and $^{\circ}Brix$ of nut were 6.43 and 3.17, respectively. L, a and b values as Hunter's color were 83.07, 1.49 and 10.48, respectively. Total content of monosaccharide was 54.26 mg% and organic acids were composed of oxalic acid 495.37 mg%, formic acid 200.03 mg%, malic acid 93.65 mg%, citric acid 27.80 mg%, and succinic acid 16.61 mg%. Total phenolic contents in various solvent extracts were as follows: water 27.69 mg%, 75% ethanol 16.50 mg%, ethyl acetate 16.50 mg%, and methanol 10.30 mg%. The antioxidant activity ($SC_{50},\;{\mu}g/mL$) of the nut extracts by various solvents was in the order of ethyl acetate 74.88 > methanol 155.00 > n-hexane 213.33 > ethanol 249.33 > butanol 274.78 > chloroform 314.67 > 75% ethanol 848.33 > water extracts 869.67. The results indicated that the extract of C. cuspidata nut contained a potential food ingredient.
