Analysis of Economic Replenishment Policy for Exponentially Deteriorating Products under Trade Credit Depending on the Amount of Purchase (구매량에 종속적인 외상기간을 고려한 퇴화성 제품의 경제적 주문정책)

  • This paper analyzes how a buyer can determine the economic replenishment policy when the supplier allows delay in payments for an order of a product. For the analysis, it is assumed that the length of credit period is a function of the buyer's amount of purchase, and inventory is depleted not only by buyer's demand but also by deterioration. Investigation of the properties of the model developed allows us to develop an algorithm whose validity is illustrated using an example problem.

  • In this paper, the consumable spare parts requirement determination problem of newly procured equipment systems is considered. The problem is formulated as the cost minimization problem with operational availability constraint. Assuming part failure rate is constant during operational period, an analytical method is developed to obtain spare part requirements. Since this solution tends to overestimate the requirements, a fast search simulation procedure is introduced to adjust it to the realistic solution. The analytical solution procedure and the simulation procedure are performed recursively until a near optimal solution is achieved. The experimental results show that the near optimal solution is approached in a fairly short amount of time.

  • 스마트폰 시장이 급성장하면서, 앱스토어 시장도 급성장 하고 있다. 애플과 구글의 앱스토어는 각각 65 만개, 60 만개의 유효 앱 등록량을 돌파했으며, 다운로드 역시 300 억과 200 억 다운로드를 돌파하였다. 앱 사용자들은 어떤 이유로 수 많은 어플리케이션 중에서 특정 어플리케이션을 선택하고 다운받는지에 대한 연구는 많이 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 컨텐츠 정보와 외적인 요인을 4가지 요소(앱의 정보, 외부 추천, 사용 평가, 사용 통계)로 분류하여 구매 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 찾고, 모바일 어플리케이션 스토어 시스템의 품질 개선과 추가로 국내에서 어플리케이션 스토어 시스템 구축을 진행하고 있는 사업자에게 실무적 도움을 제공할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

  • 최근에는 비교적 상황이 나아졌지만, 한때 코로나19로 오프라인 매장에서 마스크를 쉽게 구할 수 없었다. 대신 마스크에 대한 수요와 '사회적 거리 두기'와 함께 온라인 구매가 급격히 증가했다. 온라인 구매가 갈수록 증가하고 있지만, 여전히 소비자는 각각의 홈페이지에서 배송상태를 확인하고 있다. 본 연구는 코로나19 후에도 활발히 이루어질 온라인 유통에 주목하면서, 종합적으로 소비자 개인이 자신이 주문한 상품을 조회하는 방안을 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 스마트폰 카메라로 명함을 찍어 비즈니스를 돕는 리맴버의 운영방식처럼 휴대폰 카메라로 명세서를 찍어 정보를 종합한 뒤, 자신의 소비량과 예상 배송기간을 바탕으로 상품 보유량을 확인하는 방법을 제안하였다.

  • Modularity has merits in modifiability of product structure management and product arrangement. This feature helps consumer to expand the selection of products and to get customized products. Also consumers are drive satisfaction and reduce a post-purchase dissonance from role in a 'prosumer'. But expanding product's alternative would cause the overload confusion by rising complexity of information handling. Purpose of the study is to verify how interaction about option size and personal disposition are effected consumer's overload confusion. For this purpose we deducted 3 personal dispositions 'Regulatory focus', 'Product familiarity', 'Self-efficacy' that presented lead to potential effect of personal information handling by previous research. By statistical inquiry prevent focus group had perceived more overload confusion than promotion focus group in an expanding option size circumstances. And low Product familiarity and Self-efficacy group had perceived more overload confusion than high Product familiarity and Self-efficacy group in a expanding option size circumstances.

Uses and Gratifications of TV Home-shopping Channels (TV홈쇼핑 채널의 이용과 충족연구)

  • This study takes a uses and gratification theory based approach to identifying the relation between TV home-shopping channel use motivation and purchase intention. The results are summarized as follows. First, in respect of TV home-shopping channel use motivation, the analysis results reveal three factors: convenience, information seeking, and entertainment. Among these, the factor of convenience was the first in the order of importance. Secondly, 1)It is found that use motivation also has some limited influence on purchase intention. 2)Selectivity and involvement degree, the sub-categories of audience activity, are found to be the variables with the highest prediction ability, suggesting a need to give a particular attention to them. 3)In addition, viewing amount, a variable of use behavior, is shown to have a significant influence on purchase intention. The followings are the implications of the study results. First, marketing strategies that enable maximization of shopping convenience are required. Second, there is a need to approach the delivery of TV home-shopping contents as a kind of broadcasting contents on their own rather than merely a medium for selling goods.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze consumers'choice behavior with regard to information and communication technology(ICT) devices and related services. This research focuses on the relationships not only within each category but also among different categories by considering multiple choice situations in a variety of categories simultaneously. The multivariate probit model with demographic variables and the alternative specific constant model with variance-covariance matrix are estimated using survey data; moreover, the multi-dimensional scaling method is utilized for the presentation of the relationship map. It is evident from the results that some devices and services have a complementary or substitute relationship each other. This study can provide useful information for the development of new products and services by understanding and predicting consumer's behavior.

Intake of Snacks, and Perceptions and Use of Food and Nutrition Labels by Middle School Students in Chuncheon Area (춘천지역 중학생들의 간식 섭취 실태와 식품·영양표시에 대한 인식 및 이용실태)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the BMI, intake of snacks, and perceptions and use of food and nutrition labels by middle school students (144 boys and 189 girls) in Chuncheon area. The average height and weight of boys were $171.0{\pm}6.4$ cm and $61.0{\pm}11.4$ kg, respectively, whereas those of girls were $160.0{\pm}4.8$ cm and $50.8{\pm}6.6$ kg, respectively. Average body mass index (BMI) of boys and girls were $20.8{\pm}3.3$ and $19.8{\pm}2.4$, respectively (p<0.01). Dietary intake attitude score of girls ($34.39{\pm}5.66$) was higher than that of boys ($33.92{\pm}5.40$) (p<0.05). Subjects bought and ate snacks 1 to 3 times per week (40.2%) by themselves, and most consumed snacks were cookies (23.1%), instant noodles (16.2%), ice cream (13.2%), and candy and chocolates (13.2%). The most important factor in purchasing of snacks was 'taste' ($4.49{\pm}0.67$). When subjects bought processed foods, the rates of reading food labels was 86.6%. The most important factor of the food labels was 'expiration date' (42.9%). The degree of reading food labels on processed foods by girls ($22.70{\pm}5.72$) was higher than that of boys ($20.96{\pm}5.35$) (p<0.01). Of the 13.2% of subjects that did not read food labels, the reason why was that they were not interested (50.0%). Of the 78.4% of subjects that read nutrition labels, the most important component of the nutrition labels was 'calories' (75.9%). The main reason for reading nutrition labels was 'to control weight' (45.6%). In general, use of food labels correlated positively with dietary intake attitude score (p<0.05) and use of nutrition labels (p<0.01). Using multiple regression analysis, we found that 'usefulness of dietary life' was the most significant variable that affects the importance of food and nutrition labels. Therefore, development of an educational program on food and nutrition labels for adolescents will be effective in improving dietary life.

  • 기업은 고객이 원하는 시기에 원하는 제품을 구매할 수 있도록 항상 준비가 되어 있어야 한다. 고객의 수요를 만족시키기 위하여 기업은 다양한 수요예측방법을 통하여 적절한 재고 수준과 수요예측을 하고 있다. 제조 기업의 경우에는 다른 산업에 비하여 정확한 수요예측과 낮은 재고 수준의 유지가 비용과 직접적인 연관이 있기 때문에 제조 기업은 경제적인 주문량 결정(Economic Order Quantity: EOQ)이 매우 중요한 문제이다. 주문량을 결정하는 방법에는 여러 가지가 있지만, 본 논문에서는 고객 지연을 방지하기 위하여 경제적 주문량 결정에 고객 지연과 관련된 비용을 포함시키는 것은 물론 고객 지연이라는 상황을 방지하는 노력의 한 방법으로 가격 할인(discount system)을 이용하고자 한다. 가격 할인을 이용하여 고객으로 하여금 빠른 주문을 유도하고 그로 인하여 고객 지연 상황의 발생을 줄여보려고 한다.

(S, s) Inventory Policy under Conditions of Permissible Delay in Payments (지불 연기가 허용된 상황에서의 (S, s)재고 정책)

  • 본 논문은 제품에 대한 비용 지불에 있어서 시간의 지연이 허용될 때 발생할 수 있는 기회비용과 그 지연에 따른 이자의 상충관계를 통해서 얻을 수 있는 이익에 관해 비용에 대해 다루었다. 여기에서 Continuous review를 고려한 (S, s)정책을 기본 가정으로 하여 주문량의 변동이 있을 수 있는 상황을 고려한다. 이러한 모델에서는 이 비용 계산의 연기 기간에 따라서 비용과 주문량의 민감한 변화를 보인다. 실제로 예를 통해 지불연기 허용에 따라서 재고 시스템 내에서 발생하는 비용의 감소와 주문량의 증가를 볼 수 있다. 또한 지불연기 기간을 허용한 경우와 그렇지 않은 경우의 비용 간 비교를 통해 구매자 입장에서 이윤을 가져올 수 있는 최소한의 지불연기 기간을 도출할 수 있다.
