Performance Evaluation of Vane Motor Driven by Monopropellant (일원추진제 구동 터빈 출력장치의 성능평가)

  • Liquified hydrogen peroxide as a monopropellant is drawing an attention as a power generating energy source for a machine requiring simple and light weight structure. The liquified hydrogen peroxide is attracted due to its outstanding applicability because it doesn't require an oxidizer and discharge a hazardous product. For the further industrial applications, however, a feasibility study should be carried out carefully in the aspect of the specific power density. In this study, a prototype of vane motor driven by the liquified hydrogen peroxide with high density of upper 95% was developed and its performance characteristic such as a specific power density was estimated via measuring pressure and rotation speed of the vane motor. The specific power density obtained by numerical simulation using FSI analysis supported by experimental results was up to $0.02kW/kg_{f}$, which reaches at the level of the latest developed fuel cell.

  • This Paper deals with the weight-lowering and the traits of NVH(Noise, Vibration and Harshness) by the development of tubular shaft replacing the existing solid Drive Shaft for the lighter and less-noisy automobiles. By the review of Swaging Process this study reveals the various forming traits of Swaging, one of the forming methods for tubular shafts. Furthermore, it showed the possibility of Drive Shaft manufacturing through designing & manufacturing of Swaging machine for tubular shaft, and the production ar analysis of the tubular shaft with the relevant process and tools. This study also shows that the forming by swaging not only makes the mass production of tubular Drive Shaft possible but also may be widely applied to other products with many advantages in review of dimensional precision, thickness change, hardness increase and surface roughness of the swaged products.

  • This paper presents a high performance position controller in a driving system using a time optimal control which is widely used to control driving systems to a desired reference position or velocity in minimum response time. The main purpose of this study is an improvement of transient response performance rather than steady-state response comparing with another various control strategies. In order to improve the performance of time optimal control, we tried to find the cause of the steady-state error in the driving system we have already made up and also suggest the newly modified type of time optimal control method in this paper.

  • 금성통신에서 특정연구 사업으로 추진해 온 독자모델인 GSF-480를 중심으로 일반적인 FD D의 특성과 메카니즘(mechanism)에 대하여 기술하고자 한다. 현재 FDD의 주류를 이루고 있는 것이 5v1/4인치 양면 FDD이지만 소형화 대용량화에 의하여 점차 새로운 제품 즉 3.5인치, 3인치 FDD, 5v1/4인치 1M, 1.6M 버전(version)등이 개발되었다. 뿐만 아니라 트랙밀도를 높이는 외 에도 선밀도를 증가시키는 수직기록 방식도 개발될 전망이다. 그러나 대용량화가 되기 위하여 서는 FDD 상호간의 호환의 문제를 어떻게 하든 줄여야 할 것이다. 이를 위해서는 전술한 바와 같이 악세스 메카니즘의 정밀도 및 클램프시의 오차등 오프트랙 요인이 되는 것을 잘 고려하여야 한다. 국내에서는 기술도입 또는 자체개발로 FDD를 생산하고 있으며 금성통신은 83년 정부의 특정 연구사업으로 FDD를 개발 생산하고 있다. 앞으로 소형컴퓨터의 시장이 확대되고 수출이 늘어나게 되면 FDD의 시장도 확대될 것으로 전망되며 따라서 제품개발도 더욱 활발해질 것으로 기대된다.

  • The automatization by industrial robot of today is merely rely on to the simple position repeating works, but requirements of research and development to the force control which would adapt positively to various restriction or contacting works to environment. In this paper, a learning control algorithm using, neural networks is proposed for the position and force control by a direct-drive robot. The proposed controller is the feedback controller to which the learning function of neural network is added on to and has a character of improving controller's efficiency by learning. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by the experiment on the hybrid position and force control of a parallelogram link robot with a force sensor.

  • The existing technical limitation makes engineer imitate nature to solve engineering problems. Recently Micro Air Vehicle(MAV) imitating the mechanism of birds or insects is being developed. Especially Ultra Flite supported by DARPA is studying hummingbird aerodynamics to relate that information to MAV. To drive MAV bender piezoelectric(PZT) actuators are used due to the convinience of control and the small size. But the displacement of the PZT actuators are very small, and the wing driving mechanism which amplifies the stroke generated by the PZT actuators has constraints in design and manufacture because of the small dimension. In this paper a wing design concept and a efficient driving mechanism are proposed. Electroactive polymers(EAPs) are used as wing mechanism actuators. Using OpenGL the mechanisms are simulated graphically. Also a prototype actuator is being developed and verified by digital Mockup with CATIA. Basic kinematics of the mechanism is studied.

  • This paper deals with a moving coil type linear motor for fast access of the miniature ODD. This slim-line motor is composed of the mover supported by guide mechanism, the coil wound into it, and the yoke attached to the permanent magnet for stator. The driving force is generated by the PM of the stator and the current in the coil of the mover. Magnetic circuit analysis and Finite Element Method are applied to estimate force at air gap. Safety Diagnosis of Electric Train Driving System Using Vibration Signal (진동신호를 이용한 전기동차 구동장치의 안전성 평가)

  • Safety diagnosis of electric train driving system is performed using vibration signals of running electric train. Safety diagnosis is tried on the viewpoints of the appreciation of superannuation and the fault diagnosis of motor, reduction gear and bogie. The appreciation of superannuation is checked by the vibration levels of driving parts and the fault diagnosis is done by analyzing the frequencies of the vibration signals which are measured directly from a running electric train. The results shows that the vibration levels of each parts increase as the train gets older and each parts have their own frequency patterns of the vibration. Vibration propagation path is also investigated using calculated the coherence value between bogie and driving system. As the results, it is known that vibration signal can be utilized successfully for the safety diagnosis of the driving part of electric train.

가스 발생기를 이용한 수직발사 사출 시스템에 관한 해석적 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 가스 발생기에서 발생되는 고온, 고압의 가스를 이용하여 유도탄을 수직 발사하는 사출 시스템에 대해 해석적 연구를 수행하였다. 사출 시스템에 의한 수직발사 방식은 발사관내에 설치된 가스 발생기에 의해 생성된 가스가 사출 실린더의 피스톤을 구동시켜, 피스톤에 연결된 유도탄을 요구되는 높이로 사출 시킨 후 유도탄이 점화되는 발사방식이다. 이러한 발사방식은 유도탄 자체의 부스터 발사방식에 비해 유도탄의 화염에 의한 영향이 적다. 현재 사출 시스템은 가스발생기, 가스 튜브, 사출 실린더와 피스톤으로 구성되어있다. 본 논문은 가스 발생기에서 사출 실린더까지의 내부 유동장을 일차원적으로 모델링하였고, 가스발생기, 가스튜브, 실런더 내의 유동과 열전달 과정 및 유도탄의 동적거동에 대한 미분방정식을 연립하여 4th-order Runge-Kutta 방법으로 계산하였다. 또한 가스튜브와 사출 실린더의 열전달 손실에 대하여 1차원 비정상 열전도 방정식의 수치적 계산을 통해 에너지 손실을 계산하였다. 특히 해석에 사용된 작동유체인 추진제 가스의 열학적 상태량은 온도 함수의 5차 다항식으로 표현하여 사용하였다. 이론적인 해석을 통해 사출 장치 시스템의 성능 요구조건과 신뢰성을 만족시키기 위한 가스발생기의 추진제 그레인 및 사출 시스템 설 계 조건을 도출하였다.

  • MDO (Multidisciplinary Design Optimization) methodology is an emerging new technology to solve a complicate structural analysis and design problem with a large number of design variables and constraints. In this paper MDO methodology is adopted through the use of computer aided systems such as Geometric Solid Modeller, Mesh Generator, CAD system and CAE system. And this paper introduces MDO methodology as a new method for structural analysis and design through the application to the structural design of flap drive system. In a MDO methodology application to the structural design of flap drive system, kinetodynamic analysis is done using a simple aerodynamic analysis model for the air flow over the flap surface instead of difficult aerodynamic analysis. Simultaneously the structural static analysis is done to obtain the optimum structural condition. And the structural buckling analysis for push pull rod is also done to confirm the optimum structural condition (optimum cross section shape of push pull rod).
