This paper proposes a hand posture recognition with pattern-matching method, embedding a simple paradigm using an Infrared sensor array. Our pattern-matching based hand posture recognition is specification supports fun and the user experience when communicating between humans and telecommunication devices, including robots. Our non-contact type input device (IR-Sensor Array) transmits commands to control mobile robots. It can also control Google Earth’s map searching programs, and other applications.

After Cloud Computing concept appeared in Google that is Internet search engine company and Famed online bookstore Amazon succeed in online rental business of computer resource, Global IT companies are watched by Cloud Computing. The companies applying Cloud Computing having been many changes, also domestic It business is throwing the spotlight on new paradigm of Cloud Computing. This paper is going to look at concept and trend of Cloud Computing, and describe situation and outlook of Cloud Computing in domestic companies.

In order to extend the activity range of visually impaired persons, we design and implement a navigation system that supports road information services and points of interest. The proposed navigation system consists of route creation modules and storage modules for visually impaired persons. In particular, the main interface of the navigation system are implemented using TTS(Text-to-Speech) program for sound and braille module that outputs braille with sense of touch. We also use google map APIs that can provide latest map information for the navigation system.

This study collects 112 webtoon advertisements by Google extended search to reveal the narratives of webtoon in persuasive communication context. The results of content analysis are as follows. First, product categories are found relatively more in number such as content and game, cosmetics, public service announcement than other products. Second, the number of webtoon advertisements has increased these seven years; rather drastic increase is found in 2013. Third, as for the origin, brand webtoon is the largest number of all types. Fourth, there is a significant difference between public interest products and commercial products in absurdity advertising number. Commercial products use a variety of genres such as romance, drama, everyday life, including absurdity, while public interest products focus mainly on everyday life.

현재 스마트폰 시장에는 다양한 모바일들이 등장하고 있다. 심비안과 윈도우 모바일이 주를 이루던 모바일 업계에 애플사가 iPhone을 들고 나타나 큰 반향을 일으켰다. 애플사의 iPhone은 앱스토어라는 새로운 시장을 창출하여 모바일 폰의 거대한 변화를 일으키고 있다. 그리고 이제 구글이 지원하는 안드로이드가 나타나 자리를 차지해 나가고 있다. 휴대폰뿐만이 아닌 다양한 모바일 기기에 안드로이드 플랫폼이 올라가고 안드로이드가 우리 생활의 구석구석을 차지 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 부산버스노선, 지하철노선의 어플리케이션이 다른 지역에 비해서 개발이 미흡한 실정이다. 시민들이 많이 이용하는 버스, 지하철에 대한 정보를 스마트폰에서 구현함으로써 사용자가 실생활에 편리하게 이용할 수 있게 버스, 지하철에 대한 노선정보, 대기시간, 환승정보, GPS를 이용하여 현재위치에서 역검색을 할 수 있게 한다.

스마트폰, 스마트TV, 구글 크롬캐스트 등 스마트 미디어의 발달로 인해 정보와 사용자간의 상호작용의 중요성이 강조되고 있고 사용자들은 자신이 원하는 정보를 다른 단계를 거치지 않고 쉽고 빠르게 얻기 위한 요구사항이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 아직 여러 분야에서 사용자의 요구사항에 대한 해결책이 매우 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 요리분야의 요리비디오에서 이러한 문제점을 발견하여 이를 개선하기 위한 방안을 살펴보았다. 요리비디오는 단방향으로 정보를 제공하기 때문에 사용자가 요구하는 정보를 얻기 위해서는 웹 검색과 같은 별도의 과정이 필요하고, 또한 요리를 하는데 있어 불편함을 겪어야 한다. 이러한 불편함을 해소하기 위하여 요리 비디오에서 사용자가 원하는 장면에 정확한 정보를 제공하고 요리를 하면서 효율적으로 인터랙션을 하기 위한 시스템을 구현하였다. 시스템 평가를 위해 HCI분야의 연구에서 제안되어 많은 논문들이 평가 척도로 사용하는 사용자 설문방식을 기반으로 시스템을 평가하기 위한 실험을 통해 시스템 인터페이스, 전체 시스템의 만족도, 정보의 정확성에서 좋은 결과를 얻었다.

수재해 관련 정보를 수집하기 위한 주요 소스로서 위성 정보가 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그 중 NASA SEDAC과 UNISDR(United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction)의 Global Risk Data Platform, UNESCO의 IHP-WINS를 대상으로 메타정보를 구축하는 [글로벌(위성기반) 수재해 관련정보 수집체계]를 구성하였다. 이때 메타정보를 수신/처리하는 역할의 하비스터는 OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) 표준 WMS(Web Map Service)서비스의 필수 Operation인 GetCapabilities를 통하여 ISO GML을 획득한 후 이를 처리하도록 구성함으로써 여타표준 준수 DataSource에 대한 적응성을 확보하였다. 수집된 메타데이터를 통하여 검색된 정보는 표준 Map Service를 통하여 구글 지도 기반의 시계열 수재해 주제도 정보 서비스와 WebGL기반 3D 수재해 주제도 서비스로 각각 구성되도록 설계하였다. 국내 수재해 현장정보 수집 체계에 있어서는 사진을 포함한 시민의 현장 정보가 지오태깅기술과 동반되어 수재해 플랫폼으로 업로드 되면, 수집된 시계열 정보는 주제별 카테고리로 그룹화 된 후 클러스터링 가시화 기법으로 지도 공간상에 표출되도록 구성하였다. 이때 공신력 있는 공공 데이터(Data.go.kr)의 대피소 등 관련 시설 정보를 동시에 매핑하여 융합서비스 하도록 모색하였다. 본 연구는 전반적으로 웹서비스를 지향하며 전문가, 기관(부처), 교육기관으로 구분된 서비스를 구상하고 있다.

This study aims to suggest a method to provide a real-time noise map based on cloud using Amazon AWS. Acquiring environmental noise information, an Android app was developed to collect data on noise level, location, and measurement time of campus in Inha Technical College as a study area. Noise measurement information is transmitted to the AWS Cloud and managed, and the noise information collected through Amazon Quick Site is displayed in charts and maps. Finally, a web-based noise contour map and the results mapped to buildings were visualized with a Google map for users to search for the current environmental noise distribution. The real-time noise map presented as a result of this study is expected to be helpful for noise status and reduction policies.

Objective : The purpose of this study tried to present the performed average and range through systematic review about assessment tools that measures the praxis ability of sensory integrative function for foreign and domestic normal children. Methods: With making use of Medline, PubMed, Ovid, Eric, the Library of Congress, National Science and Technology Information Center, Kiss, RISS, and the Google search engine, we searched the name of assessment tool on the basis of the framework of the theory of sensory integration. Target paper was thesis and Journal published from January 2000 to April 2011. Results: Total of 24 papers were retrieved, used assessment tools were Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOTMP), Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Short Form (BOTMP-SF), Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition (BOT-2), Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition, Short Form (BOT-2-SF), Clinical Observations of Motor and Postural Skills (COMPS), Motor Assessment Battery for Children (MABC), Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction with Balance (CTSIB), and subtest of Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). We presented the average and range of assessment tools applied to normal children in each country. Conclusion: A performed result in other cultural and domestic normal children which this study presented will provide a standard in comparison with performance of children with disabilities who are the actual clinical evaluation.

Drug shortage is a persistent phenomenon that poses a public health risk worldwide and occurs due to a range of causes. The purpose of this study is to review key policies to prepare for and respond to drug shortages in selected countries, such as the United States, Canada, and some European countries in order to draw implications. This study reviewed the reports and articles derived from search engines and Google Scholar by using keywords such as drug shortage and stock-out. Over the last decade or so, the United States have strengthened requirements on advance notification for disruption and interruption of drug manufacturing, established the Inter-agency Drug Shortages Task Force to promote the communication and coordination of responses, and expedited drug regulatory processes. Similarly, Canada established the Multi-Stakeholder Steering Committee on drug shortages by involving representatives from central and local governments and private sectors. Canada also adopted a tiered approach to the communication of drug shortages based on the assessment of the severity of the shortage problem and released a detailed information guide on communication. In 2019, the joint task force between the European Medicines Agency and the Heads of Medicines Agencies issued guidelines on drug shortage communication in the European Economic Area. The countries reviewed in this paper focus on communication across different stakeholders for the monitoring of and timely response to drug shortages. The efforts to protect public health from the negative impact of the drug shortage crisis would require multi-sectorial and multi-governmental coordination and development of guidelines.
