A Study on the Development of the Flood Risk Index for Roads Considering Real-time Rainfall (실시간 강수량을 고려한 도로 침수위험지수 개발 방법에 대한 연구)

  • The damaged district by flooding has been changed from mainly farmland to cities due to the weather phenomena which is different from the past. This has caused not only irreparable damage of people's lives and property but social infrastructures. There also exist serious damages such as isolation of drivers and traffic jam as the roads were flooded. In this study, we suggested a method to develop a flood risk index focused on not Si, Gun or Gu but roads. In addition, flood risk index in the roads just at the moment, when it rains quantitatively, will be provided by using real-time rainfall information provided by the Weather Center. Then it should be helpful to prevent people from being isolated by flooded roads in advance.

  • It is not easy to keep time promises in the complex daily lives. Especially, the increase in the number of vehicles causes traffic congestion in commuting time, which results in the delayed arrival and varies greatly depending on the weather conditions. In this paper, proposed is a smart alarm clock that automatically adjusts the alarm time according to weather conditions and suggests ways to deal with traffic congestion. The proposed smart alarm clock is designed to operate the functions of a normal alarm clock using touch functionality. In addition, it is designed to find weather information using open API and to automatically change alarm time to prepare for expected time delay. The proposed design was implemented based on Arduino Mega2560 and a touch TFT-LCD. WiFi module for internet connection, RTC module for clock function and MP3 player module for alarm sound playback were used together. The proposed design has been filed as a patent and is currently under review.

서울 남부순환 도로, 관악터널 설계

  • 서울시에 건설될 새로운 내부 남부순한 도로는 제2 성산대교와 서쪽의 주요 고속화 도로를 연결하는 초고속 도로망을 구축할 것이다. 노선연장은 지하구조물 10.4km를 포함하여 총 34.8km에 달한다. 도로망이 완성되면 수도 서울 중심가의 심한 교통체증은 상당부분 완화 될 것이다. 공사비 7000억원에 이르는 대규모의 서울 남부순환 도로는 3차선 병렬터널 3개 공구를 포함하는 것으로 계획되어졌다. 이들 터널은 3차선, 일방향, 병렬터널로서 계곡부를 관통하며 굴착공법은 대부분 발파공법으로 계획되어져 있다. 가장 긴 관악터널은 지질조건이 복잡하며 따라서, 이런 지반에 적용성이 좋은 발파공법에 의한 굴착으로 계획되어졌다. 특히, 갱구부는 지질상태가 매우 불량하여 풍화암 자연상태로 설계하는 것이 불가능하였다. 설계자들은 터널 화재와 교통사고 등과 같은 터널내에서의 긴급상황에 대한 최적의 대책 수립에 중점을 두어야만 했다. 관악 터널 상부에 위치한 수로관을 통과하는 방법을 찾는 것이 당면 최대 관건이었다. 또한, 갱구부 주변지역의 환경을 보존하고 현장의 자연적인 아름다움 을 유지하기 위하여 굴착량을 최소화하는 공법선정이 중요하였다.

  • 현재 우리사회는 친환경을 요구하는 시대로 접어들었다 세계적인 추세도 같은 방향으로 흐르고 있으며, 이미 미국, 영국, 프랑스, 이태리, 일본 등의 선진국에서는 자연 친화적, 경제적 실리 추구 및 편리성을 추구하면서 청정 에너지를 사용하는 "미래형 이동수단"에 큰 관심을 갖고 우리보다 한발 앞서 나가고 있다. 이중 전기자전거는 배터리를 통해 무공해, 무소음이라는 장점을 가지고 있으며, 유지관리비가 거의 들지 않고 교통체증을 완화시켜주며, 주차에 신경쓰지 않아도 되어 교통수단에 혁신을 가져다 줄 것이라 생각된다. 본 논문에서는 소형이동 수단인 전기자전거에 채용되는 고출력 리튬이온 배터리팩의 관리시스템을 개발하였으며, 기존의 MCU를 채용하는 제품에서의 문제점이었던 소비전류는 크게 저감하고 셀 밸런싱(Cell Balancing), 온도보호(OTP, Over Temperature Protection) 등의 추가기능은 충실히 수행할 수 있으면서도 저가의 전기자전거용 배터리관리시스템(BMS, Battery Management System)을 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 YOLOv3 기반의 차량 인식 및 계수 방안 연구를 진행한다. 이를 위해, 단일 단계 방식의 구조를 가진 YOLOv3 를 활용하여 영상 속 차량 인식 및 계수 하는 실험을 수행한다. 위의 실험을 통해 영상 속 차량의 수와 밝기에 인식률 정도와 차량 계수 평균 값 추출을 하였다. 실험 결과, 영상 속의 차량의 수와 밝기에 상관없이 90%이상의 차량에 대한 높은 인식률을 보였으며 1초 당 약 20 번씩 인식되는 차량의 수에 대한 계수의 평균 값을 추출하여 텍스트 파일 형태로 저장하여 시간에 따른 차량 계수를 확인하였다. 본 기술은 현대 사회의 교통 체증을 해결하기 위한 교통 흐름 예측에 활용될 수 있다.

  • In Busan, the structural limitations of the road, is causing severe traffic congestion and low speed of the vehicle. So the existing traffic control system needs improvements to its structure. A study on Optimal Traffic Signal System and Improvement for User Oriented Public Transit Service are required. U-city is a city or region with ubiquitous information technology. All information systems are linked, and virtually everything is linked to an information technologies. U-Traffic goal is to maximize of traffic information services based on advanced information technology to integrate of transportation infrastructure. The objectives of this research are : a vehicle detection method through a variety of sensors, an algorithm of the traffic signal system, a design and implementation a simulator to compare between the fixed traffic signal and adaptive traffic signal system. This simulator will have allowed analysis techniques for the study of traffic control. Results of simulator test shows that traffic congestion can be some reduce.

Constructing Effective Smart Crosswalk Traffic Light Mechanism Through Simulation Technique (시뮬레이션 기법을 통한 효율적 스마트 보행신호등 메커니즘 구축)

  • The walking speed of handicapped people generally is slower than that of normal people. So it is difficult for them to cross at crosswalks within the allotted time provided by the traffic light. This problem can be solved by expanding the time of the traffic light. However, if the latency of the traffic light is increased without distinguishing the handicapped among all other pedestrians, the efficiency of traffic signal lights will decrease. In this paper, we propose a smart traffic signal connecting mechanism between the previous pedestrian traffic signal and a pedestrian's device (smartphone). This Smart pedestrian traffic light, through this mechanism, minimizes traffic congestion by providing additional walking time only to the handicapped among pedestrians. This crosswalk traffic light recognizes the handicapped using a technique called Internet of things (IOT). In this paper, we extract the data necessary to build an effective smart crosswalk traffic light mechanism through simulation techniques. We have extracted different kinds of traffic signal times with our virtual simulation environment to verify the efficiency of the smart crosswalk pedestrian traffic light system. This approach can validate the effective delay time of the traffic signal time through a comparison based on number of pedestrians.

Analysis for Changes of Mode Choice Behavior from Providing Real-time Schedule for Public Transportation by Smartphone Application (스마트폰 애플리케이션을 이용한 대중교통 운행정보 제공에 따른 통행자 수단선택 행태변화 분석)

  • Public Transport Information Service which use smartphone Apps has received attention as the way of solution that reduced transport problem. Smartphone can offer real-time information because of a LBS(Location Based Service) system. This study try to find out which factor affect mode choice ratio of public transport, especially smartphone Apps. The result shows that rising oil price, traffic congestion, public information service with smartphone apps, BIS(Bus Information System) factors get 0.39, 0.27, 0.18, 0.16 scores with paired comparison. Younger and student respondents prefer smart phone public information service. Decision Tree shows that the most important decision factor is smartphone information service factor.

  • One of the most comfortable transportation in our day to day life is the bus, which provides real time information. In order to obtain reliable information on the arrival time of this information, BIS (Bus Information System) needs to analyse the main factor for the traffic environment. To manage the system, regional information analysis by local municipalities should be prioritized. In this paper, we analyse the features that are expected to affect traffic environment by commuting the travel to school, market, tourism and other influences around Suncheon-si, which has the facilities for education, tourism and urban locality. Data cleaning is performed on the DB information that is being collected from characterization BIS, which is organized by day of the week, day and month, to analyse the key factors of the traffic flow. If this is utilized by applying a key factor to the real time information, it is expected to provide more reliable and accurate information.

Flight Routes Establishment Through the Operational Concept Analysis of Urban Air Mobility System (도심항공교통시스템 운용 개념 분석에 따른 운항경로 구축 연구)

  • With the advent of industry 4.0 technologies like the artificial intelligence and the autonomous flight, 'Urban Air Mobility (UAM)' is being considered as an effective alternative to resolve the ground urban traffic congestion. Accordingly, many companies in the world including Korea are investigating on the development of UAM vehicles and operation systems. In this study, after identifying and classifying the essential elements of the UAM operation, the UAM system operational concept has been derived, then detailed analyses for each element has been performed. Based on the conceptual analysis of the UAM operation system, UAM flight routes in Seoul and Gyeong-In area have been established and confirmed to be operable through the performance analysis of UAM vehicles. The flight route analysis in this study is expected to be applied to UAM flight routes establishment in various cities in the future.
