A Comparative Analysis of Mobility Service Satisfaction by Driving Subjects and Experiences of the Latest Technology : Focused on Automated Driving Service (모빌리티 서비스의 운전 주체 및 신기술 경험 여부에 따른 만족도 비교분석 : 자율주행서비스를 중심으로)

  • The South Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport designated seven automated driving test beds required to evaluate vehicle performance every year for the expansion of mobility services based on automated driving. As a fundamental study, we suggested a necessary example of evaluating the performance with a satisfaction survey for the services before the evaluation. First, we surveyed the perception of automated driving services of users and the public in Sejong-si, South Korea. The survey showed that the users had a higher level of awareness of automated driving technology and intention to use it than the public. Second, the satisfaction survey was conducted on demand-responsive public transportation and automated driving service users. Notably, using the Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test, among the non-parametric statistical analysis methods, we found that safety-related factors affected the overall satisfaction of users of automated driving services. On the other hand, in the case of the demand-responsive public transportation service users, factors related to service convenience affected overall satisfaction. Hence, the results of these surveys are expected to be used as basic data and guidelines to improve the quality of automated driving services and policy establishment.

  • 지난해 국제해사기구 (IMO)의 MSC 는 NAV 및 COMSAR 전문위원회에 E-Navigation 에 대한 전략 개발을 지시하였다. 효율적이고 안전한 선박 운항을 위한 E-navigation 서비스 구현을 위해서 해상 정보와 정보체계에 대한 이해가 선행되어야한다. 본 연구에서는 현재 범유럽적 차원에서 진행 중인 MarNIS 의 정보체계와 정보 에이전트에 대해서 살펴보았다. MarNIS 는 에이전트의 정보 창구로서의 Single Window와 각 시스템 말단에서 데이터 변환기로서의 MarNIS 노드에 의해 범유럽의 해상정보체계를 수립하고 있다. 정보 에이전트들이 계층적으로 구조화되고 통합된 해상 정보체계를 기반으로 각종 해상정보를 종합 분석하여 해상교통 지원 서비스와 해상안전 지원 서비스를 구현할 수 있다.

  • To reduce maritime accidents and improve safety for domestic ships, the government has developed and is operating the Korean e-Navigation Service. The ship collision and grounding monitoring service and the route planning service were developed based on the experience of captains and navigators who navigated large ships. However, in Korea, small ships account for a large portion of the users of these services, so there are various difficulties and additional requirements for applying services based on large ships to small ships. To improve this, a data science-based algorithm model using maritime digital traffic information is being developed for small ships, and it is important to evaluate the performance of the developed model and compare its accuracy with existing services. In this study, we propose a performance evaluation method for the developed algorithm model and study how to compare and evaluate its accuracy with existing e-navigation services.

  • The current AIS network and. system are run on a full scale with 22 ground stations and. 11 operational systems, completing a nation-wide, integrated network However, currently it needs to manage sea traffic by linking AIS to VIS which 1vs a limited service area due to restricted radar detection zones in harbors or coastal areas.   • 선박교통관제 기본계획에 따라, 우리나라는 '26년까지 전 연안해역에 관제구역을 설치하여 안전관리를 강화할 예정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 관제구역 사각지대를 없애고 연속적인 관제 실현을 위한 관제구역 간 정보공유 활성화의 필요성을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우리나라 연안해역을 대상으로 해상교통 및 해양사고조사를 통해 우리나라 연안해역의 해상교통환경을 분석하였다. 그리고 해상교통관제사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 VTS 센터 간 정보공유 현황을 조사하고 문제점을 도출하였다. IALA에서 권고하고 있는 IVEF 서비스의 현황을 조사하고 정보공유 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 관제구역 간 정보공유의 필요성을 확인하고 나아가 IALA 표준을 개정할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Evaluation Criteria of the Walkway Level-of-Service in Korea (국내 보행 서비스수준의 평가기준)

  • In the middle of motorization, the traffic problems become serious social problems in Korea. The walking environment is not only a topic which restores the community spirit of a city or society but also a lever which renovates the future space of the city environment-friendly. Thus, the Purpose of this study is to suggest the new criteria of walkway level of service adopting the concepts of safety. convenience, comfort, environment, security, and continuity in addition to present pedestrian flow rate, and to provide basic data for walkway plan in Korea. In order to analyze the adequacy of the present walkway level of service criteria, the walkways of which service levels were A, C, E according to USHCM were selected as study walkways, and an interview surrey was conducted to compare the three service levels with those that pedestrians evaluate actually. Also, another interview survey was conducted to analyze the service conditions and satisfaction level at the walkways of high service levels(A and B). For the establishment of more reasonable walkway level of service criteria. the survey of pedestrian\`s consciousness for walkway service was conducted. Based on the survey results, the new criteria for the evaluation of walkway service were selected and the six levels of service for each criterion was analyzed: so the comprehensive criteria of walkway level of service were suggested.

Automated Driving Aggressiveness for Traffic Management in Automated Driving Environments (자율주행기반 교통운영관리를 위한 ADA 개념 정립 및 적용 기법 개발)

  • Emerging automated driving environments will lead to a mixed traffic flow depending on the interaction between automated vehicles (AVs) and manually driven vehicles (MVs) because the market penetration rate (MPR) of AVs will gradually increase over time. Understanding the characteristics of mixed traffic conditions, and developing a method to control both AV and MV maneuverings smoothly is a backbone of the traffic management in the era of automated driving. To facilitate smooth vehicle interactions, the maneuvering of AVs should be properly determined by various traffic and road conditions, which motivates this study. This study investigated whether the aggressiveness of AV maneuvering, defined as automated driving aggressiveness (ADA), affect the performance of mixed traffic flow. VISSIM microscopic simulation experiments were conducted to derive proper ADAs for satisfying both the traffic safety and the operational efficiency. Traffic conflict rates and average travel speeds were used as indicators for the performance of safety and operations. While conducting simulations, level of service(LOS) and market penetration rate(MPR) of AVs were also taken into considerations. Results implies that an effective guideline to manage the ADA under various traffic and road conditions needs to be developed from the perspective of traffic operations to optimize traffic performances.

  • 무선 센서 네트워크(Wireless Sensor Network)는 차세대 IT 기술로서 소형, 저가, 저전력을 필요로 하며, 외부 환경의 모니터링과 제어기능을 수행할 수 있다. 이것은 소형 장치 안에 마이크로프로세서, 각종 센서, 액추에이터, 유 ${\cdot}$ 무선 통신 장치를 내장하는 수백 혹은 수천 개의 센서 노드로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 센서 네트워크를 이용하여 기상의 악천 후 속에서 차량 및 도로 상황 정보를 실시간으로 미리 획득하고 분석하여 운전자에게 미리 도로의 안전속도를 통보할 수 있는 실시간 차량 안전속도 서비스 시스템을 설계하고 구현된 결과를 보여 주고자 한다. 본 시스템은 노면의 종류 및 기상 상태 등에 대한 정보를 수집하여 이를 바탕으로 운전자에게 안전 속도를 알려줌으로써 교통사고를 효과적으로 예방할 수 있는 방법을 제공할 수 있다.

Suggestion on the Optimal Length of Long Tunnels Considering Traffic Safety Characteristics (교통안전 특성을 고려한 장대터널 적정길이 제시)

  • Tunnel reduces travel time as and it is essential facilities for the eco-friendly road construction. In recent years, It has been accelerating the tunnel construction to provide a higher level of traffic service but a driver driving in the narrow and dark tunnel takes characteristically psychological anxiety and the restriction of the sight. Moreover, A driver passing through more than 1,000m long tunnel, as to pass inside the monotonous form of the tunnel for a long time can cause drowsiness and increase the driver load. This driver load can degrade road-holding of the inside of the long tunnel highly and pose a high risk of accidents. Accordingly, In this study is to present the proper length of the Tunnel, considering the characteristics of traffic accident. For this, this study is that the long tunnel that affects traffic safety traffic safety variables are selected and classified. Traffic safety variables are classified in detail as a variable of the traffic accident and velocity one, the applicable variables the number of the traffic accident, the ratio of the traffic accident, driving velocity, the individual vehicle velocity etc. Traffic safety variables are categorized as more than a pole length of the tunnel in order to examine its impact on correlation analysis. The results indicate significant results in traffic accidents in accordance with traffic accidents, traffic safety, selects the variable was Variable depending on the length of the tunnel traffic safety point of significantly increasing the possibility of an accident can be seen as a high point. And the point of the Distribution of selected variables in order to create a traffic safety was a significant increase in traffic safety variables was set at critical intervals. Before reaching the critical point and the corresponding length of the long tunnel was set at the proper length. In this study, the optimum length of the proposed long tunnel through the long tunnel that occur in the future to contribute to reducing traffic accidents would be able to be determined.

해상교통관제(Vessel Traffic Service) 시뮬레이터를 이용한 교육 현황 분석 및 개선방안에 관한 연구

  • 급변하는 항만의 교통특성과 이용자들의 정보서비스 욕구에 발맞추어 해상교통관제 운영기법이 변화하고 있으며 차세대 다기능 해상교통정보시스템과 같은 새로운 기술이 개발되는 등 해상교통물류체제의 혁신이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 세계 각국은 해상교통관제구역을 항행하는 선박의 질서유지 및 안전사고 예방과 사고 발생 시 신속한 대응조치를 위하여 해상교통관제사의 인력양성 및 인력관리에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 국내에서도 선진해양교통행정을 위하여 분산된 해상교통관제 기능일 일원화 되어감에 따라 새로운 해상교통관리 체제의 효율적인 운영을 위하여 해상교통관제사들의 지속적인 훈련의 필요성이 대두되고 있지만 교육제도의 인지, 여건, 장비보급의 부족, 다양한 상황에 대한 교육시나리오의 부족으로 인하여 시뮬레이터를 이용한 교육이 효율적으로 이루어지지 못하는 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해상교통관제사들의 교육을 위한 국내 외 규정을 분석하고 교육현황 및 해상교통관제사들의 요구사항을 파악하여 해상교통관제시뮬레이터를 이용한 교육의 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.
