Most existing progression bandwidth models maximize the single or multi weighted sum of bandwidths in the both directions to improve traffic mobility on an arterial, but they cannot be applied to general networks. Even though a few models formulating a looped network problem cannot be applied to networks have not loops. Also they have some defects in optimizing phase sequences. Therefore, the objective of this study is to develope a mathematical formulation of the synchronization problem for a general traffic network. The goal is achieved successfully by introducing the signal phasing for each movement and expanding the mixed integer linear programming of MAXBAND. The experiments indicate that the proposed model can formulate the general traffic network problem mere efficiently than any other model. In conclusion, this model may optimize signal time to smooth progression in the general networks.

In this paper, a novel sized-reduced CPW(Coplanar Waveguide) balun is proposed. It has a crossing structure between signal line and ground planes of CPW transmission line for the $180^{\circ}$ phase inversion. The$3{\lambda}/4$ CPW transmission line is reduced to ${\lambda}/4$ in physical length while the electrical length is preserved to $270^{\circ}$ by the $180^{\circ}$ phase inverting structure, while the previous balun by Lim et at. has a long $3{\lambda}/4$ transmission section to from the Wilkinson divider structure having out of phase between output ports. In addition, the measured data which show the crossing structure has the wanted $180^{\circ}$ phase change is presented in this work.

This paper presents a dual-band, dual-polarized microstrip patch antenna with simple dual-probe feed. The inter-port isolation and cross-polarization are greatly improved by designing feed structure with annular gap between patch and feed-probe. Measured results show that the antenna's inter-port isolation and cross-polarization in each -10 dB return loss bandwidth of $1.84\;GHz\~l.93\;GHz$ and $2.62\;GHz\~2.81\;GHz$ are greater than 21 dB, greater than 22.2 dB and greater than 27 dB, greater than 19 dB, respectively. The antenna gain is about 6.9 dBi in both frequency bands.

The applicability of micro-ELISA was evaluated in human neuro-cysticercosis using paired samples of serum and CSF. A total of 355 cases who were mostly neurologic patients was subjected. Cystic fluid of C. cellulosae was used as antigen in protein concentration of $2.5{\;}{\mu}g/ml$. Serum was diluted to 1 : 100 and CSF was undiluted in the assay for the specific IgG antibody level. The differential criterion of the positive reaction was the abs. of o. 18 in both samples. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The overall sensitivity of the micro-ELISA in 71 confirmed neurocysticercosis was 90.1% ; the sensitivity by serum was 77.5% and that by CSF was 83.1%. CSF was a more sensitive and valuable material. Most of the false negative cases of neuro-cysticercosis showed far lower level of abs. rather than marginal. 2. The overall specificity of the micro-ELISA in 52 confirmed other neurologic diseases was 88.5%; the specificities by serum and by CSF were 94.2% respectively. Cases of other neurologic diseases did not show false positive reactions in both samples. 3. When serum was assayed, taeniasis(2/18), sparganosis(2/20), paragonimiasis(1/56), clonorchiasis(1/15) and fascioliasis(1/1) cases showed cross reactions. When CSF was assayed, 2 ot 10 neuro-sparganosis showed cross reactions while none of 9 neuro-paragonimiasis showed it. Out of 71 confirmed neuro-cysticercosis cases, 6 and 11 showed cross reactions by serum and CSF to crude extract antigen of sparganum; but no case did show it to crude extract antigen of Paragonimus westermani. 4. Ventricular CSF showed low or negative levels of IgG antibody than lumbar CSF unless the lesion was at the lateral ventricle itself. 5. Out of 4 racemose cysticercosis cases, 3 showed positive reaction in serum while all of 3 examined CSF were positive. The above results indicated that the serological test for detecting the specific IgG antibody by micro-ELISA using paired samples of serum and CSF was very helpful for clinical differentiation of neuro-cysticercosis from neurologic diseases of other causes.

The establishment of a complete geological model that includes information about all the various components at a site (such as underground structures and the compositions of rock and soil underground space) is difficult, and geological modeling is a developing field. This study uses commercial software for the relatively easy composition of geological models. Our digital modeling process integrates a model of Jeju Island's 3D geological information, models of cave shapes, and information on the state of a road at the site's upper surface. Among the numerous natural caves that exist in Jeju Island, we studied the Jaeamcheon lava tube near Hallim town, and the selected site lies below a road. We developed a digital model by applying the principles of building information modeling (BIM) to the cave (CaveBIM). The digital model was compiled through gathering and integrating specific data: relevant processes include modeling the cave's shape using a laser scanner, 3D geological modeling using geological information and geophysical exploration data, and modeling the surrounding area using drones. This study developed a global-scale model of the Hallim region and a local-scale model of the Jaeamcheon cave. Cross-validation was performed when constructing the LSM, and the results were compared and analyzed.
Development of 3,700 folds resistance to etoxazole was found in the population of twospotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae, collected from rose greenhouses in Buyo, Chungnam Provience in August 2000. This population was selected for 3yr with etoxazole to get 5,000,000 folds increase in resistance as compared to susceptible (S) strain. The etoxazole resistance was stablized for 16 months under the condition of no acaricide application. Inheritance and cross resistance in etoxazole to some acaricides of the etoxazole resistance strain (R) were investigated. There were differences of susceptibility in the etoxazole concentration-mortality relationships between $F_1$, $F_2$ progenies obtained from reciprocal cross with the S and R strains (R$_{♂}$${\times}$S$_{♂}$${\times}$R$_{♂}$). Degrees of dominance were 0.98 and 0.98 in $F_1$ and $F_2$ progenies of R$_{♂}$${\times}$S$_{♂}$, and -0.97 and -0.68 in $F_1$ and $F_2$ progenies of S$_{♀}$${\times}$R$_{♂}$ respectively. Inheritance in $F_1$ and $F_2$ progenies of R$_{♀}$${\times}$S$_{♂}$ were complete dominant. However $F_1$ and $F_2$ progenies of S$_{♀}$${\times}$R$_{♂}$ were incomplete recessive. These results suggest that inheritance of etoxazole resistance is controlled by a complete dominance. The R strain exhibited cross resistance to acequinocyl and emamectin benzoates in adult females, and milbemectin, amitraz and pyridaben in eggs. However they showed negatively correlated cross-resistance to bifenazate, a carbazate acaricide. These results may indicate bifenazate could be useful for the control of etoxazole resistant T. urticae population.
This study examines machine learning cross-validation to utilized create ROI for classification of land cover. The study area located in Sejong and one KOMPSAT-3A image was used in this analysis: procedure on October 28, 2019. We used four bands(Red, Green, Blue, Near infra-red) for learning cross validation process. In this study, we used K-fold method in cross validation and used SVM kernel type with cross validation result. In addition, we used 4 kernels of SVM(Linear, Polynomial, RBF, Sigmoid) for supervised classification land cover map using extracted ROI. During the cross validation process, 1,813 data extracted from 3,500 data, and the most of the building, road and grass class data were removed about 60% during cross validation process. Based on this, the supervised SVM linear technique showed the highest classification accuracy of 91.77% compared to other kernel methods. The grass' producer accuracy showed 79.43% and identified a large mis-classification in forests. Depending on the results of the study, extraction ROI using cross validation may be effective in forest, water and agriculture areas, but it is deemed necessary to improve the distinction of built-up, grass and bare-soil area.
Cross-resistance and inheritance of resistance in laboratory-selected strains of the brown planthopper to various types of the insecticides were investigated. The fenobucarb-selected ($R_{f}$), carbofuran-selected($R_{c}$), and diazinon-selected($R_{d}$) strains were 50.3, 49.2 and 5.8 times less sensitive to the corresponding insecticides than th susceptible strain. both $R_{f}$ and $R_{c}$ strains were highly resistant to the other carbamate insecticides, and moderately resistant to cypermethrin and deltamethrin, but nearly not resistant to fenvalerate and the organophosphorus insecticides except malathion and phenthate. Moderate resistance to malathion and phenthoate in the $R_{f}$ and $R_{c}$ strains was obtained at the rate of 13.0-12.0 and 8.5-7.5 times, respectively. The $R_{d}$ strain showed low levels of resistance to the carbamate, organophosphorus and pyrethroid insecticides, but negatively correlated cross-resistance to fenvalerate. Resistance of the brown planthopper to all the test insecticides was inherited by partially dominant autosomal factor(s).
It has been presumed that the amount of vehicle's $CO_2$ emission would highly related to vehicle's cruising speeds on highways. In this study, it was tested if vehicle's $CO_2$ emissions would relate to the types of highways and the level of congestion. The results showed that the amount of $CO_2$ emission changes depending on (1) the vehicles' cruising speeds (b) congestion levels, and (c) the types of intersections. It was found that the vehicle acceleration and deceleration methods increases the amount of $CO_2$ emission up to 12%. It was also found that it changed up to 30% and 40% depending on the level of congestion and the types of intersections, respectively. The findings imply that the amount of $CO_2$ emission from vehicles should be improved when vehicles' cruising speeds are well managed through congestion management.
