This study on the proofing what used to correct the color difference between the photo image and offset press. Printing photos with color offset press always make the differs, because of the difference in gamut. Photographer hopes to be able to use the proofing with inkjet printer for reduce these differences. In this study, I experiment with various ways for the proofing by photographer directly. It is using the ink jet printer and image outputs of the various mode was applied to a variety of color setting value. And calculate the output image using a spectrophotometer and compared with the image of offset press. At last I can found a very similar color setting value with the offset image. After all this research is to obtain a result of finding out proofing work flow through method to measure and how to apply various color setting value results.

최첨단 장비와 기술을 활용하고 있는 인쇄업은 세계의 기술변화에 민감할 수밖에 없다. 그러나 국내 인쇄업계는 선진 인쇄기술을 리드하지 못하고 뒤따라가는 입장이다. 특히 교정 시스템에 있어서는 상당히 뒤쳐져 있다고 할 수 있다. 그 중에서도 국내에 도입조차 이루어지지 않은 첨단 교정서비스인 리모트 프루프는 IT강국의 명성을 무색케 하고 있다. 다행히도 PIN 프로젝트라는 인쇄 전용 통신망이 구축되고, KPG(코닥폴리크롬그래픽스) 한국지사(지사장 안희균)에서 조만간 국내에 리모트 프루프 서비스를 제공할 계획이어서 첨단 교정서비스 시대의 도래가 머지않아 보인다.

(주)팬다콤프로세스(대표이사 천용관)는 1988년 설립, 기획 편집 출력 인쇄까지 토털 서비스를 제공하고 있는 업체다. 최근 제5회 서울인쇄대상에서 'seung h-sang'이라는 작품으로 대상을 수상한 팬다콤프로세스는 국내 최초 디지털 자동교정시스템 콘센서스 프로 도입은 물론 하이델베르그 국전4색, T3절5색 등의 첨단 인쇄기 및 디지털 인쇄기 추가 도입으로 토털 원스톱교정인쇄시스템을 갖추고 있다. 또한 이들 시스템을 바탕으로 인쇄 출판업계의 전문가들이 공동집필한 '디지털 그래픽 아트' 제작도 소화해 냈다. 이들 모두를 진두지휘한 천용관 대표이사를 만나보았다.

미국의 인쇄관련 종합 잡지 아메리칸프린터스 2004년 5월호에 편집인 할 힌더리터(Hal Hinderliter)는 모니터 기반의 교정수단들에 관한 기고문을 발표한 적이 있다. 이 글을 통해 힌더리터는 모니터 기반 교정수단들은 사용자들이 이-메일 또는 FTP(File Transfer Protocol)를 경유해 보내진 PDF파일의 내용과 편집을 검토할 수 있게 함은 물론, 하드 카피 교정과 필적할 만한 더 복잡한 컬러 관리 시스템으로 변화하고 있다고 밝혔다.

플렉소 그래픽 인쇄에서 품지리 표준화는 인쇄 공정에서 발생되는 수많은 변수와 '표준화는 불가능하다'라는 일부 의견에도 불구하고, 수년에 걸쳐 "반드시 선행되어져야 할 과정"이 되었다. 최근 독일의 GMG사는 플렉소 시장의 특수한 요구에 맞게 개발된 GMG FlexoProof 04를 출시했다. 본 고에서는 플렉스 시장을 위한 시뮬레이션 교정 시스템에 대해 알아보도록 한다.

On the process of cross-media color reproduction, a key feature is the use of gamut mapping techniques to adjust the different color gamuts between displays and printers. Even though a number of GMAs have been published, but there are no method satisfactory enough for more exect color reproduction. In this paper, the gamut mapping methods of nearest point clipping(NPC), centroid clipping (SLIN), straight clipping and cusp clipping(CUSP) were tested and analyzed with color difference, and a new gamut mapping algorithm based on variable anchor point method was proposed.
