This study explored the cognitive characteristics and learning needs of economically disadvantaged gifted students. Gifted students(n=99), economically disadvantaged gifted students(n=43), and non-gifted students(n=50) participated in intelligence and creativity tests, and took self assessments of meta-cognition, epistemological beliefs, learning style preferences, and personal time usage. Superior abstract reasoning ability of economically disadvantaged gifted students was found because their scores on Raven's Test had risen rapidly compared to the other groups. Economically disadvantaged gifted students showed similar high scores as the gifted student on the Torrance Tests of Creativity Thinking-Figural, but not on Verbal. They were found to have a perception of the positive relationships among effort, learning abilities, and values of learning integrated knowledge with a general plan. However, they showed lower meta-cognitive control abilities than the gifted students in learning management and strategies, epistemological beliefs in value of rational operations, and time usage for learning. It is necessary to assign economically disadvantaged gifted students a task with various step by step methods of approach because these students prefer a new and creative task to difficult ones. Instruction plans such as developing language and meta-cognitive abilities and practical application of learning content was proposed.

4차 산업혁명과 메타버스와 같이 빠르게 변화하는 정보화 시대에서 디지털 사각지대에 놓인 '디지털 소외 계층'들이 존재하고 있다. 특히 고령자 같은 경우엔 빠르게 변화된 사회 속에서 보장받아야 할 디지털 교육을 받지 못하여 이제는 당연하게 누려야 할 편리함까지 놓치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 문제들을 해결하기 위한 효과적인 디지털 교육 방안으로 '놀이'와 '게임' 그리고 '컴퓨터'를 융합시킨 'e스포츠'를 통해 디지털 치료제로서 제안하고자 한다. 이는 단순한 '교육'이 아닌 새로운 실버 콘텐츠로 접근하여 노인들의 또 다른 문화로 개척하며 디지털 소외 문제를 해결하는 것과 동시에 고령자들에게 'e스포츠'의 발전과 인식개선에도 기대해 본다.

인터넷 및 IT 기술의 획기적인 발전으로 인해 우리가 접하는 정보는 그 양적 측면 뿐만 아니라 질적 측면에서도 비약적인 발전을 가지고 왔다. 또한 인터넷 보급의 활성화로 대부분의 사람들은 많은 종류의 정보 속에서 그리고 다양한 형식으로 구성된 정보 속에서 지내고 있다. 특히 웹의 사용이 일상화 되어감에 따라 컴퓨터를 다루기 힘든 정보소외계층의 웹사이트 정보 접근성에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있으며 그와 관련한 다각적인 연구도 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 선행된 웹 사이트 접근성에 관한 연구와 한국형 자동화 접근성 평가도구의 분석을 통하여 기존의 웹 접근성 평가의 한계를 파악하고 이를 통해 새로운 유형의 웹사이트 접근성 평가모형을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위한 접근성 평가의 효율성 및 타당성 확보를 위해 먼저 자동화 평가도구인 Kado-Wah 를 이용하여 기본 평가를 진행하였고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 웹 페이지 소스분석 및 음성합성 S/W 를 통한 메뉴얼 평가를 실시하였다. 평가결과를 바탕으로 접근성 오류정도를 산출하여 한국과 미국의 교육기관 웹사이트의 접근성을 비교 분석하고 그 결과를 통해 향후 웹 기반 정보접근에 대한 효율성을 최대화 할 수 있도록 웹 구현에 대한 지침을 제안하고자 한다.

Subjects for the study are educationally alienated class living in poor educational environment. Those students often live outside the reach of software education which is one of key capabilities of Fourth Industrial Revolution. The gap between student in rural and urban areas is becoming more distinct and schoolchildren in rural areas are further limited to access software development education under COVID-19 where face-to-face classes are more rarely conducted. To overcome the issue, AI based thinking skills coding educational program was developed and tested on children in 6 primary schools in south and north of Gyunggi-do, South Korea. Questionnaire were conducted before and after classes to research on students'awareness on AI thinking skills coding. At the end of the study, subjects showed statistically significant increase in confidence, interest, and attitude, and showed positive overall feedback on software development tendency after the program is conducted.

The use of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) is closely related to the improvement of health and quality of life in later life. The elderly in general, however, face difficulty in adapting to ICT. The purpose of this study is to examine the social disparities and determinants in the use of information of the elderly residing in seoul. The data is based on the "2015-2016 Seoul Survey on Elderly Health and Functional Assessment", which include a total of 1,605 people aged 60 to 89. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the older, women, the lower educated, and those with restricted activity or poorer health were found to be the significant determinants of the digital poverty among older people. The results call for special attention to disparity within the older group to solve digital divide issues.

This research is part of the Korean-ASEAN Official Development Assistance (ODA) project, specifically exploring the possibility of using public libraries as a place for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) literacy training for women from ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries. Women from ASEAN countries are often minorities in ICT capacity building. A survey of 1,000 female public library users - 100 people from each of the ten ASEAN countries - and in-depth interviews with librarians from national libraries were conducted. The survey results showed that 68.8% of respondents perceived public libraries as a suitable place for ICT literacy training. 27.5% of respondents visited libraries for ICT-related activities, including information retrieval, e-mail, SNS, etc., Meanwhile, findings from the interviews highlighted the importance of having up-to-date ICT infrastructure - computers, Internet, professional ICT skill training for librarians, strategic planning for policies, budgets, and cooperation with other related institutions - in public libraries in order to provide effective ICT training.

In order to analyze the educational effect of learning mentoring conducted for 4 weeks by the Korea Educational Broadcasting System(EBS) for elementary school students, the changes in self-directed learning skills and emotional stability were analyzed through pre-test and post-test for 27 students who participated in the EBS learning mentoring. As a result, it was found that students' self-directed learning ability and emotional stability were both improved. In addition, the students showed high satisfaction with the mentor who guided their learning and taught them. Therefore, in order to reduce the learning gap of underprivileged students in the distance learning situation, the EBS learning mentoring project should be continuously promoted, and the mentoring period and the number of students and teachers participating in mentoring should be significantly increased.

Recently the cyber home learning system is executed throughout the country as a part of educational policies to reduce expenditure on private education and to promote educational welfare for alienated classes. Thus, in order to examine the effectiveness of the cyber home learning system, we conducted an online questionnaire survey with elementary and secondary students, cyber teachers under the OO Office of Education. According to the results, overall satisfaction with the cyber home learning system and its effectiveness were found high. In addition, what were required for more effective the cyber home learning system were expanding the execution of unit school learning, strengthening teacher training, increasing incentives for cyber teachers, intensifying campaigns for the cyber home learning system, providing various types of information and contents of education, and activating learning activities such as community, message and chatting. This study is expected to be a steppingstone to the settlement of more effective the cyber home learning system.

한국의 어두운 역사적 배경 속에서 '혼혈아'라 불리던 국제결혼자녀 또는 미군아버지로 부터 버림받은 사생아들은 한국 사회에 포용이 될 수 없었다. 더불어, 그 이후 유입된 새터민, 외국인 노동자, 중국동포의 다문화 가정자녀들도 외국인도 내국인도 아닌, 외계인으로 사회적 고립으로 말미암아 소외계층으로 밀려나야 했는데, 이는 단일 민족주의를 긍지로, 여기는 한국의 주류층과의 차이가 차별(discrimination)로 변질된 현상에서 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 하지만, 이들의 차이는 '잠재적 역량'이 될 수 있는 이면적 장점을 내포하고 있다는 사실을 한국의 사회. 문화적 신념에 의한 배타적 성향을 지닌 한국 주류층들은 물론이거니와, 다문화사회 구성원들조차 인식하지 못하거나, 활용되지 못하는 것이 현 실정 이었다. 글로벌 사회의 도래로, 다문화 사회를 바라보는 전체사회의 의식변화를 요구하는 사회 각계각층의 목소리가 높아지고 있으며 이에 대한 활발한 연구가 시작되고 있다. 우리나라도 체류외국인 100만 명 돌파의 시대에 돌입 후 정부는 다문화사회 도래에 대한 다양한 대비책을 마련하는 현 상황에서 다문화사회 구성원들의 정부시책에 대한 관심과 자체적 노력이 더욱 요구되며, 이런 노력 하에 전체사회의 변화가 용이해질 뿐만 아니라, 다문화사회의 미래인 그들의 자녀들을 위해 교육적, 제도적, 정책적 인프라구축의 노력에 결실을 가져오리라 본다. 한국사회가 송출국에서 수민국가 대열에 서게 된 이 시점에서 다른 국가들의 이민과 교육정책을 살펴보고, 한국의 이주자 대상별로 전반적 다문화 가정 자녀의 교육 현실 및 한국 다문화 교육 정책의 문제점을 살펴보고, 이에 대한 미래지향적 다문화 교육에 대한 앞으로 한국의 다문화교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시해 보고자 한다.
