타워크레인은 조선, 건설 등 산업 현장에서 중량물 운반 운전을 위한 도구로 사람이 수동 작업으로 대부분 수행된다. 이러한 타워크레인 운전 훈련 과정은 훈련 실습자에게 장시간 교육하기에 비효율적 뿐 아니라 위험한 작업이므로 최근에는 가상 훈련 시뮬레이션을 통해 이루어 지고 있다. 이러한 가상 타워크레인 시뮬레이션을 구현하기 위해서는 기후환경, 중량물, 줄걸이와 같은 외부적 요인도 중요하지만 타워크레인의 운반 중량물과 직접적으로 연결이되는 로프를 정밀하게 표현하는 것이 중요하다. 하지만, 현재 개발된 대다수의 로프는 단면이 원통형을 띄고 있어 물리적인 요인이 작용하였을 때, 회전축이나 물리적인 형태를 가늠하기가 어렵다. 그러므로, 가상의 타워크레인 시뮬레이션 로프를 실제 타워크레인 슬링벨트와 유사한 면의 형태를 가지고 구축하여 실 환경과 유사한 환경에서 숙련된 타워크레인 시뮬레이션을 훈련하기 위한 로프 시뮬레이션이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 로프 시뮬레이션이 실제와 동일한 형태의 슬링벨트를 제공할 뿐만 아니라 로프의 면 형태 구현하고, 물리시뮬레이션을 통해 로프의 사실적인 움직임을 나타낼 수 있는 가상현실(VR) 기반 훈련 로프 시뮬레이션을 제시한다.

멀티미디어 학습 자료는 학습자에게 다양한 형태의 학습경험을 제공해 줌으로써 학습에 대한 강한 동기유발과 이를 통한 학습목표의 달성에 크게 기여하고 있는 바, 그 교육적 활용가치는 날로 증대되고 있다. 대부분의 교사들은 멀티미디어 편집 관련 애플리케이션을 사용하여 학습자료를 제작하고 있지만 일반적으로 멀티미디어 편집에 있어서, 관련된 주요 기능들이 서로 다른 애플리케이션에서 실행되기 때문에 사용자의 입장에서 여러 개의 애플리케이션을 핸들링해야 하는 불편함이 있다. 또한, 지금까지의 멀티미디어 관련 툴이나 애플리케이션은 사용자의 수준을 고려해보았을 때 상당히 복잡하거나 난해한 부분들이 많아 활용상의 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 멀티미디어 편집 프레임워크의 개발을 목표로 연구범위를 동영상의 캡쳐와 편집으로 제한하고, 지금까지의 사례를 모델링하여 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 새로운 형태의 동영상 캡쳐와 편집을 위한 프레임워크를 설계하였다. 이를 통해 두 작업 사이의 공통적인 구성요소를 추출하여 단순화시킴으로써 애플리케이션에 쉽게 적용할 수 있고, 사용의 용이성과 이식성을 가질 수 있다.

CDMA has been used widely in communication standards like IS-95, WCDMA, and Korea-Japan Satellite-DMB. Since CDMA has a multiple access interference (MAI) problem, a CDMA receiver requires an interference cancellation scheme like prefilter, a kind of adaptive filter. This paper proposed a memory-based prefilter architecture to reduce the area of a prefilter. An adaptive filter is usually implemented with registers for area reduction, but memory-based architecture leads to a less area for a prefilter due to its functional characteristics. Experimental results show that memory-based architecture reduces the area by around 10% in common prefilters.

최근 스마트 시대에 디지털 컨버젼스(digital convergence)의 대표기기로 대두되고 있는 태블릿 PC는 휴대전화와 컴퓨터의 기능을 바탕으로 장소의 제한 없이 네트워크에 접속할 수 있다. 이는, 개인의 일상생활에서 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 실정이다. 10년 이상 e러닝이 주도해 온 IT교육시장에서 스마트러닝으로의 변화는 새로운 플랫폼을 구축하는 그 이상의 의미를 가진다. 스마트 러닝은 기존의 수직적인 학습방식을 수평적, 참여적, 지능적, 그리고 상호작용적인 방식으로 전환하여 학습의 효과를 높였다. 이러한 트랜드를 반영하여 스마트러닝의 장점을 극대화 시킬 수 있는 학습자 중심의 컨버젼스 러닝시스템(learning system)을 구현하고자 하였다. 또한, 영어의 중요성이 대두되면서 영어 인증시험에 대한 관심이 날로 커지고 있다. 그리하여 바쁜 일상생활 중에서 시간과 장소에 구애 받지 않고 태블릿 PC를 통하여 영어 인증시험을 공부할 수 있는 어플리케이션을 기획하였다. 본 LEMON(Learn English Mobile ON-air) 앱(application)은 영어 학습 시간이 충분하지 않은 대학생 및 직장인 등을 대상으로 TOEIC, TOEFL, TOEIC SPEAKING 영어 인증시험에 대한 학습이 가능하도록 구현하였다.

최근 스마트기기가 널리 보급되고 소셜네트워크 서비스가 확산되면서, 스마트 기기 및 소셜미디어를 활용함으로서 학습에서 상호작용을 극대화한 교육환경으로 스마트러닝이 크게 부각되고 있다. 그리고 스마트러닝 콘텐츠 및 환경의 확산으로 PC 위주에서 스마트폰 등으로 이러닝 콘텐츠의 사용환경이 확장됨에 따라 콘텐츠 저작의 경제성과 효율성 등을 고려하게 되었으며, 하나의 콘텐츠를 다양한 환경에서 활용 가능하도록 하고 있다. 그러나 기존 PC기반의 콘텐츠를 스마트기기에 적용함에 있어 여러 가지 문제가 발생하는데 이 문제들을 해결하는 방안으로 먼저 콘텐츠에 대한 표준화가 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전자책 표준화를 활용한 효율적인 스마트러닝 기법을 제시하고자 한다.

The DBMS is a database management software system to access by people. It is an open source DBMS, such as MySQL and commercial services, such as ORACLE. Since MySQL has been acquired by Oracle, MariaDB released increase demand. NoSQL also are increasing, the trend is of interest, depending on the circumstances. Based on the same type of mass data, Depending on the performance comparison between the open source DBMS is required, and The study compared the performance between MariaDB and MongoDB. This paper proposes a DBMS for big data to process.

In this paper, an packet drop technique is proposed to outperform the previous RIO (RED In and Out) drop mechanism for DiffServ in ship area networks. the proposed packet drop technique does not manage the individual flows and divides them into several flow groups according to a criterion. And it guarantees the fairness between individual flows in the same QoS class through the group-based control. In simulation results of the proposed packet drop technique, the link utilization decreases than RIO. But it guarantees more data rates to DiffServ flows passing multiple bottleneck links.

Recently, a nursery and preschool are doing its best to protect children, but an unexpected accident happened. Generally, when children have been abnormal status by accident or disease, activity and body heat are changed. In this study, to prevent such accidents, we propose real-time monitoring system which take children's body heat and activity and manage children's status by smart-phone and PC.

In this paper, one of reliable schemes of In-ship sensor networks using a Grid-based WPAN is proposed. The proposed scheme is based on a novel grid network which allows a multi-path communication, and is robust, energy efficient. The results demonstrate that the proposed Grid-based WPAN outperforms the IEEE 802.15.4 based network in terms of power efficiency.
