This paper presents a senior-level embedded software design course using a customized training kit. Embedded software design courses commonly entail a lot of practice hours and a semester-long project and thus requires a hardware platform on which the embedded software runs. A training kit has been designed such that both hardware system and operating system are not too complicated or heavy for undergraduate students to fully understand and to develop embedded software on their own. The course using the customized training kit gives the students hands-on experience of embedded software design and programming ranging from device drivers to user interface, thereby enabling them to have in-depth understanding of embedded software and to improve their programming skills more easily and faster than when using commercial training kits.

Thanks to the spacial and timely flexibility of laboratory's environment, the distance learning based real time PLC education system has been brought into relief as a next generation laboratory alternative. The developed system was installed using a relatively cheap PLC and PC camera. Providing image feedback through the PC camera, the system provides the student's interests of the lab as well as an opportunity to monitor the lab's activities and results.

This study examined the effect of using home health practical education program applying simulation for nursing college students. The study was carried out according a nonequivalent control group design. The study subjects were 60 nursing college students. The home health practical education program applying simulation program was carried out for 2 weeks. The data collection period was from March 29, 2021 to May 7, 2021. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS PC+ 19.0. The experimental group had significantly different in knowledge related home health nursing, problem-solving ability, and clinical competency in comparison to the control group. This suggests that the home health practical education program applying simulation can be applied as a way to increase nursing students' knowledge related home health nursing, problem-solving ability, and clinical competency.

This study investigated the overall perceptions of pre-service school librarian teacher on the current education practicum through semi-structured in-depth interviews and suggested improvements to the educational practicum system. For this purpose, interview data were collected from 28 pre-service school librarian teacher (6 teachers' colleges, 14 taking teaching qualification courses, and 8 graduate school of education) who participated in educational practicum in school libraries, and a research method that combines qualitative analysis techniques with text network analysis was applied. The results of the study showed that pre-service school librarian teacher believe that educational practicum can prepare them for various field experiences and cultivate their ability to cope with situations they will encounter in the future. Through qualitative inquiry, we were able to identify their perceptions of school field practicum as a whole, their perceptions of the school field practicum, and their perceptions of educational service activities. Based on this, to improve the current problems of educational practice, we suggested expanding the period of school internship program, distributing the time, establishing a full-time practice system, having continuous discussions with field teachers, and developing a systematic school field practicum.

The importance of University Archives Management is increasing. In this study, we researched cases of collecting and managing educational archival contents in universities. Developed archival contents for software practical education, and implemented it to the Capstone Design course and overseas program. The effect of applying the model was analyzed through surveys and interviews. The Capstone Design Survey, involving 349 participants, indicated the highest satisfaction with the University-Industry Cooperation type. The experience of dissemination and enhancement was aggregated as the second highest satisfaction. In the second survey, 62 students who had participated in the overseas program over the span of two years took part. All nine Likert-type questions showed high satisfaction scores of more than 4 points. The top three satisfaction factors-content, program type, and advanced experience-showed high satisfaction scores of 4.85, 4.74, and 4.71, respectively. Through interviews with professors, mentors, and students, it was also confirmed that instructional methods utilizing archival contents are effective. And the model we developed is applicable for convergence education.

With the global rise in interest in competency-based education, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea outlined six core competencies in the 2015 revised curriculum, essential for future society's 'creative and convergent talent'. This study introduces an HTE-STEAM constellation education program designed to develop the core competencies outlined in the 2015 revised curriculum and address the limitations of hands-on astronomy education. The program's effectiveness was assessed through a pilot test. The program was implemented at G Library, an out-of-school education site in Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, targeting students from 3rd to 6th grade. The study's results include: First, the HTE-STEAM program significantly impacted all aspects of the STEAM attitude test except for 'self-concept', particularly influencing 'science and engineering career choice', 'consideration', and 'communication'. Thus, it has led to positive outcomes in the cultivation of future society's core competencies, including 'creative thinking skills', 'communication skills', and 'community skills'. Secondly, the HTE-STEAM constellation education program, despite covering the challenging concept of spacetime, was deemed easy by many students. Observations of students applying the spatial concepts they learned by using teaching aids suggest that the program was effective in enhancing students' understanding of the spatial structure of the sky and the universe. Additionally, this program aligns with the 2022 curriculum's updated standards for understanding the sky's spatial structure. Consequently, the HTE-STEAM constellation education program positively cultivates future society's core competencies and serves as a valuable complement to night observation practices in schools.

The purpose of this study was to identify the experiences of nursing students who used journals for cadaver practice experience. The data were collected between October 26 and October 28 2016. Participants were 20 2-year nursing students with cadaver practice experience at D College in D City. The data were collected from daily sheets by self-reporting their experiences during the cadaver practice program. The participants wrote their experiences anonymously on sheets on paper. Data were categorized and coded by using content analysis. Eight categories and 21 statements were drawn from three domains. The study revealed that participants experienced anxiety, flow, and reflection of cadaver practice. The analyzed domains were 'anxiety', 'flow', and 'reflection'. 'Anxiety' was categorized into 'worry', 'fear', and 'surprise'. 'Flow' was categorized into 'interesting', 'focusing', and 'knowing'. 'Reflection' was categorized into 'dignity' and 'appreciation'. Therefore, It is necessary to provide a group counseling program for seniors who have experienced counseling and cadaver practice for psychological support and anxiety relief of nursing students before cadaver practice. In addition, this study is expected to contribute to the development of a cadaver practice program for nursing college students.

The purpose of the study is to examine prospective librarians' library practicum experiences by using Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological method. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study conducted in-depth interviews with the participants of the library practicum in the department of library and information science at the A university. Following Giorgi's four ways of phenomenological description, the study analyzed the collected data from in-depth interviews with the participants. Prospective librarians' library practicum experiences were able to analyze as five significant themes and seventeen sub-categories of the themes. The five main themes are as followings: 'formulating perception of libraries and librarians', 'formulating career design through self-development and challenges', 'growth and challenges in preparing the library practicum', 'growth and challenges in the middle of library practicum' and 'experiences after the library practicum and the evaluation.' On the basis of the findings, the study suggested alternative programs of library practicum and the directions for performing the programs effectively and efficiently.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between stress and satisfaction with clinical practice of 113 nursing students. The subjects scored 3.17 points of full 5 on stress with clinical practice and 3.24 of full 5 on satisfaction with clinical practice. There were no significant correlations between their stress with clinical practice and satisfaction with clinical practice(r=-.048, p=.615). The findings of this study provide the basis for expanding nursing practice and education for nursing students, and nursing administrators and professors should make efforts to increase nursing students' satisfaction with clinical practice and decrease stress with clinical practice.
