The purposes of this study is to verify additional demand of students for secondary vocational education, and draw political implications. To meet the purposes, firstly we analyzed current policies on the secondary vocational education. Second, we divided additional demand of students for secondary vocational education into practical and potential demand. Practical demand by students who would like to take further vocational education in secondary education system includes students who hoped to enter vocational high school however they failed to go, the first or second year students who transferred from general high school to vocational high school, and the third year students who are in general high school would like to take commissioned vocational courses. Potential demand is an additional demand for secondary vocational education in a society perspective. This includes a student who downgraded employment even though they entered college or university after graduated general high-school. Comparing the result of this study with the entrance quota of vocational high-school, additional demand of students for secondary vocational education showed that accounted for 61.2 percent of the entrance quota year 2015. Specifically, potential demand accounts for 31.7 percent of the entrance quota for vocational high school and practical demand accounts for 29.5 percent.

Using a sample from Korea Education Employment Panel(KEEP), this study attempts to ascertain determinants of demand for alternative education in Korea. It found that children's gender and duration of computer use exert a strong effect on demand for alternative education. Also, those parents, who show more interest in government's education policy; are less content with the schools their children are attending; and exhibit the higher likelihood of migration for children's education, appear to have the stronger tendency to seek alternative education for their children. Meanwhile, there was a significant difference between male and female students in the factors that influence demand for alternative education. For male students, duration of computer use and the parents' interest in government's education policy tend to matter. For female students, however, health condition seems to be associated with demand for alternative education. For both male and female students, those parents' who are more discontent with the schools their children are attending and/or have the higher likelihood of migration for children's education seem more likely to send their children to alternative schools.

Educational satisfaction is an important indicator of the educational field but the existing customer satisfaction index mainly focused on partial area because measurements could not reflect the alteration of university environment. The purpose of this research is to develop a new UCSI for university to improve the quality of university education. This research demonstrates validity and reliability of UCSI. This research uses the second-order confirmatory factor analysis. The results indicate that the reliability and validity of UCSI is verified. Education condition, education course, university development and student support are clarified to be appropriate components of the satisfaction survey. This research develops UCSI and applies it in a university. University managers can be used to measure the satisfaction level of university education and to improve the quality of university education.

정보통신 기술, 방송 기술 및 관련 소프트웨어 기술 발전은 수요자가 원하는 서비스를 받기 위해서 정보 제공자에게로 다가가던 종래의 정보서비스 환경으로부터 사이버 공간을 통해서 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 서비스를 선택할 수 있는 환경으로의 변화를 촉진시켜주고 있다. 수요자 중심의 개별화된 학습체제에 대한 필요성과 시간과 장소에 제약을 받지 않는 사이버 공간을 통한 교육 기회의 확대는 정보통신망과 방송망을 통해서 다양한 형태의 교육 서비스를 제공하는 사이버 교육의 큰 특징으로 인식되고 있다. 본 발표에서는 사이버 교육 환경 구현에 필요한 제반 요소들을 분석하고, 국내외 사이버 교육의 구체적인 사례를 통해서 사이버 교육이 갖는 문제점을 분석하고, 국내의 경우 사이버 교육의 도입 현황을 살펴봄으로서 사이버 교육이 열린교육을 실현하기 위한 효과적인 교육 방법으로 정착되기 위한 방향을 모색해 보고져 한다.

대학이 산업체의 수요에 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 전공별로 대학에서 가르치는 내용과 산업체에서 활용되는 기술들을 객관적으로 분석하고 불일치를 분석하는 작업을 수행하여야 하며, 이들 질적 불일치에 관련한 연구는 상당한 예산과 인력이 소요되기 때문에 정부는 인적자원 개발의 인프라 구축 차원에서 지원하여야 할 것이다.

In this paper, a revitalization plan for IT education was studied. Currently, IT industry is the most important field of the export industry in korea. But IT education in korea has been neglected. To grasp the demand of students and parents for IT education, a survey was conducted. A majority of students and parents agree with opinion that should be strengthened IT education at school. Also, a majority of students and parents agree with a plan to set up special purpose high school for IT education. In this paper, a revitalization plan for IT education is proposed according to result of survey. It is expected to help the breeding gifted young man for IT.

The need for education that meets the strengths and weaknesses of cyber education is raised because there is difference in the characteristics of students and the needs for education between the cyber university, where the education without constraints of time and space is made, and the existing offline universities. Also, it is expected that the satisfaction of students will be greater if the education is provided based on the analysis of the characteristics of students and their demands for education. There are many students already engaged in construction industry. The students entering the construction engineering department in cyber university are Interested in acquiring the theoretical foundation and professional construction knowledge based on practical experience, professional licenses, and career management. Also, they are interested in further studies at graduate school level and add to academic depth. This study suggests the necessity of establishment of construction education system Including objectives and curriculum in cyber university based on the analysis on the characteristics of students and educational needs.
