We need problem solving abilities based on the information abilities in information-oriented society. New curriculum is demanded by new technology and circumstance to need the core competencies. Korea Association of Information Education has studied new curriculum and suggested new plans that contents of information education classified by 'Software', 'Computer System' and 'Convergence Activities.' Therefore, we studied on 'Problem Solving' topic of the 'Software' section of first grade to ninth grade. In this paper we firstly categorized 'Problem Solving' as 'Problem Comprehension and Analysis', 'Data Management', 'Strategy Establishment for Problem Solving', 'Problem Solving Method Seeking and Development' and 'Examination of Problem Solving Method.' We nextly suggested the achievement goals, teaching-learning methods and evaluation methods of 'Problem Solving' topic. We expect that the achievement goals and teaching-learning methods we suggested about 'Problem Solving' topic will contribute to training talented individuals.

Rising rate of IT industry in world economy, major countries strengthen IT education. Especially, Owing to SW become significant in IT industry, curriculums of school to enlarge SW education are made in major country. Korea Association of Information Education have studied a new curriculum and suggest a new plan that content of information education classify by 'computer system', 'SW production' and 'fusion activity'. Therefore we study on a curriculum for information of SW production of elementary and middle school. In this paper we firstly suggest object to achieve on information of SW production of elementary and middle school. Next we suggest teaching learning method and evaluation method on them. we expect that the object to achieve on information of SW production we suggest will contribute to develop the curriculum of ICT subject.

Even though the distance education via Web has a great advantage to overcome time and space, its problem that the management of trainees is not efficient compared with classroom and group education. This problem is a great obstacle to the objects and achievement standards of distance education, giving controversial arguments to the advocators of distance education. Distance educators need to monitor the trainees 'participation and responses continuously and offer appropriate feedback to the trainees. However, the existing distance education system only focuses on teaching and teaming activities, and as a result, the efficient management function of distance education is not available. Accordingly, the study attempts to find out the appropriate managing elements of distance teacher training in order to effectively achieve the goals of teacher training and the efficient management of distance education. Also, it proposes distance teacher training system that offers appropriate feedback to trainees, applying the derived elements of distance teacher training to the training processes. To verify the efficiency of the system, hypotheses on related items of distance teacher education and learning types are suggested, and the achievement of learning and its relations are investigated through questionnaire of learning types.

This study compared and analyzed the chemistry curriculum of South Korea and Singapore. The analysis revealed that Korea's achievement standards in the chemistry subject comprised knowledge and skills, whereas Singapore's achievement standards comprised knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes. The scope of knowledge and skills of the Singaporean achievement standards-wherein each element was explicitly presented-were more extensive than that of Korea. The elementary school curriculum in both countries was structured to help students qualitatively understand materials in real life, whereas the middle school content was structured such that students could understand the topic of particles. Additionally, several differences were found in specific content elements; for example, the periodic tables were included only in the Singaporean content, whereas changes in the volume of gas according to temperature and pressure were included only in the Korean content. The Singaporean academic achievement standards, integrating knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes in science curriculum, can be used as a reference for adjusting and restructuring the Korean curriculum.

As the 2022 revised mathematics curriculum emphasizing competency cultivation was announced, the researcher analyzed the connection between competency, content system, and achievement standards in elementary school mathematics curriculum. The results of the analysis of the link between the competency of the curriculum revision research report, its sub-elements, the 'process and skills' of the curriculum content system, and the achievement standard verb are as follows. First, most of the five curriculum competencies (problem solving, reasoning, communication, connection, and information processing) of the mathematics department are implemented as "process-skills" of the content system, which is further specified and presented as an achievement-based verb. Second, the five competencies were not implemented with the same weight in all areas, and the appropriate process-skills were differentiated and presented according to the content of knowledge-understanding by area/grade group. Third, verbs of the achievement standards were more rich than before in the 2022 revised elementary school mathematics curriculum. Fourth, 'understanding' throughout the entire area was still presented as the highest proportion. Through the research results, the researcher discussed clearly establishing the meaning of problem-solving capabilities in the future and developing and presenting "understanding" as a more specific process or skills.

오늘날의 교육은 단순히 지식을 많이 습득하는 것보다 문제를 인식하고 지식 및 정보를 통합하여 창의적으로 문제를 해결할 수 있는 역량 중심의 교육을 강화하고 있다. 이러한 역량을 배양하고 함양하기 위해 학생들의 발달 수준을 알아보고 분석하기 위해 국제 수준의 학업 성취도 평가 연구가 국제기구를 중심으로 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 학습자들의 역량을 효과적으로 평가하기 위해 최근에 컴퓨터 기반 평가가 도입되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국제 수준의 학업 성취도 평가에서 컴퓨터 기반 평가가 이루어지는 현황을 파악하고 PISA와 ICILS의 공개 문항의 특징을 비교하여 시사점을 제시하였다.

According to the TIMSS and PISA, Korean students proved to score one of the best group among the participated countries on the cognitive area of school mathematics. As an attempt to find out the Korean students' trends of mathematics learning, we compared Korean and American 10th graders' mathematics test result. It was proved that Korean students were especially well equipped in retaining basic fact and formulas.

컴퓨터의 보급이 보편화 되면서 컴퓨터 보유 가정이 기하급수적으로 증가되고 있다. 이로 인하여 컴퓨터로 할 수 있는 일이 늘어나고, 활용분야 역시 다양해지고 있다. 특히 과거의 교수-학습 방법과는 달리 최근에 많은 분야에서 연구되고 있는 E-러닝, ICT, 컴퓨터 활용, 인터넷 등을 접목하여 학생들의 협동심과 책임감을 요하는 협동학습에 적용하고자 하는 연구가 진행 중이다. 그런데, 협동학습의 집단은 크게 인문계열, 실업계열 고등학생 집단과 중학생 집단으로 분류한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터를 활용하는 정도와 이용시간 등을 학습에 얼마만큼 도움이 되는지 분석하고, 계열별로 집단을 구분하여 학생들의 집단에서 개인의 적극성과 참여정도에 대한 영향이 집단 전체에 미치는 파급효과를 분석한다. 마지막으로 학업성취에 대한 학생들의 성적차이의 관점을 분석하고, 성별에 따른 학업성취도 차이, 주변 환경에 따른 영향력의 정도, 협동학습의 결과 학업성취도의 변화를 평가한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation among family environment variables, self-esteem, family strengths, and achievement motivation. This subjects were the 467 middle school students living in Gwangju. Data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. The major findings were as follows; First, adolescents' self-esteem, family strengths, and achievement motivation scores were higher than median(3.00). Second, the male adolescents' achievement motivation showed significant positive correlation with standard of living, self-esteem, and family strengths. The female adolescents' achievement motivation showed significant positive correlation with standard of living, father's education achievement, mother's education achievement, self-esteem, and family strengths. Third, the male adolescents' achievement motivation was influenced by self-esteem, role sharing and problem solving, communication and family bonding, and financial stability. And the male adolescents' achievement motivation was explained about 42% by this variables. The female adolescents' achievement motivation was influenced by self-esteem, communication and family bonding, and financial stability. And the male adolescents' achievement motivation was explained about 39% by this variables. Examining the influence of Family Environment variables, self-esteem, and family strengths on achievement motivation of adolescents, self-esteem has the greatest influence and students who think themselves positive and competent has high level of achievement motivation. Adolescents find their own strong point and advantage so that cherish, respect and have proud of themselves.
