This study examined the structural relationships among parental attitudes and expectations toward mathematics, mathematics motivation and achievement of their child in PISA 2012 of South Korea. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling(SEM) analysis. The results were as follows: First, parental attitudes toward mathematics had positive effects on parent academic and professional expectations in mathematics. Second, parental expectations also had positive effects on intrinsic motivation, instrumental motivation and math achievement for their child. Third, instrumental motivation had strongest effects on math achievement. The next factors which had effects on math achievement were intrinsic motivation and parental expectations in order. This results shows that the parental awareness of the usefulness and necessity of mathematics will help to increase the interest and value toward mathematics, math achievement and interest of math related carriers of their child.

Strengthening of software education is a big trend worldwide recently. Based on this trend, the Ministry of Education issued a domestic content to enhance software education in September 2014. In this regard, the most important problems are the number of available teachers who can adequately teach computational thinking in the pursuit of new software education and the teaching competencies of teachers in charge of software education. These problems are the same issues emerged in the United Kingdom where computer science education became mandatory for all primary and secondary students from September 2014. This study examines how the United Kingdom and the United States have solved these problems and discusses the realistic solutions for our country.

The purpose of school education and that of school library services are the same and the school librarians are expected to provide useful programs for the curriculum development. The effective operation of the school library need to be reformed in spite of various obstacles. If the primary school teachers perception and expectation on school librarians'roles are appropriate this will greatly motivate and mare active utilization of school library by the students. The purpose of this study are to survey the role of school librarian and to friend out the perception and expectation of primary school teachers on the school library services and finally to use its results for more efficient management of school library in teaching programs. It is conclude, base on the results, that they recognize the importance of school library and need to assign school librarians and also expect various services including school library education programs.

수학 교육에서 새로운 정보기술의 교육적 사용의 범위는 커지고 교육 모형은 다양해지고 있다. 특히 중등 수학교육에서의 변화에 대한 기대도 커지고 있다. 본 논문은 미국 및 한국의 수학 교육계의 폭넓은 지지를 받는 NCTM의 컴퓨터 및 정보기술 활용에 관한 규준들의 교육적 의미, 방법, 효용 등을 정리하였다. 이어서 컴퓨터과학 교과과정에 포함된 수학 분야에 대한 컴퓨터과학자 Hamming의 견해를 소개하였다. 본 논문은 한국의 중등 교육에도 컴퓨터과학 교과가 시행될 것을 예정하면서 수학 교사들이 미리 컴퓨터과학을 교과과정을 이해함으로 통합 교과적 요소, 특성 그리고 역할 관계를 알아보았다.

대부분의 대학생들은 재학기간 중에 학교에서 운영되는 교육프로그램, 자원봉사, 어학연수, 동아리활동 등 다양한 경험을 하게 된다. 최근에는 학교에서 운영하는 교육프로그램이 더욱 다양해지고 많은 학생들이 참여하고 있다. 하지만 학교에서는 학생들이 어떤 활동을 했는지 효율적으로 관리하고 참여 학생의 적극적인 참여율 유도가 필요가 있지만, 이를 효율적으로 관리하는 것은 어려운 일이다. 본 연구는 학교에서 시행중인 다양한 프로그램들에 대하여 학생들이 참여함에 따라 학생들의 참여현황을 조사하여 관리하고 참여율과 학과별 통계를 Dashboard로 열람할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하여 운영하였다. 교육 참여 관리 시스템을 활용함으로써 담당자의 업무 효율을 기대할 수 있고 체계적인 학생들의 교육 프로그램을 효율적으로 모니터링하고 관리할 것으로 기대된다.
