Determinants of Satisfaction on Short-Term Training for Vocational School Teachers - Case of Overseas Training in ODA for Developing Countries (직업훈련교사에 대한 단기교육의 만족도 결정요인 - 개도국의 국내초청 직업훈련을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to research factors determining satisfaction on the short-term training courses offered to vocational school teachers, and to analyze the case of the overseas training for developing countries. An empirical study is performed by surveying 226 trainees having participated in international HRD program of the HRD Korea during 2008~2011. The results show that the training demand survey, training period and fitting to the trainees' major and the educational level positively affect the satisfaction on the short-term training for teachers of vocational schools. The implication of this study is that programs customized to personal attributes and educational level are needed in the ODA overseas training and the short-term training for teachers of vocational schools.

  • 이번 연구에서는 재난관리 교육프로그램 개선을 위해 민방위재난안전교육연구원의 교육과정에 중점을 둔 전문가들을 대상으로 AHP분석을 실시하여 교육과정 개혁의 우선순위를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 재난현장지휘시스템에 대한 이해가 가장 중요한 분야로 인식되고 있으며, 재난관리 교육훈련 과정에서 대응현장에 적용되는 표준조치절차(SOP)에 대한 이해와 획득이 중요한 분야로 인식되고 있다. 따라서 재난관리 교육 프로그램 개선을 위한 현장지향적 재난대응역량 제고를 위한 교육 프로그램 부문 강화가 필요하다. 특히 재난현장에 참여하는 다양한 정부기관과 중앙정부 및 지방자치단체 관계자들의 현장 이해도 제고를 위한 교육이 이뤄져야 한다.

Relationship between Completers' Satisfaction of Job Training Programs and Training Performance in Gwangju Area: The Moderating Role of NCS Level (광주지역의 구직자 훈련 프로그램 이수자 만족도와 취업률간의 관계: NCS 수준의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effects of job training program satisfaction on objective training performance such as employment rate. In addition, the NCS(National Competency Standards) level was considered as a moderating variable in order to clarify the boundary conditions between job training program satisfaction and employment rate. The data used for the analysis of the research model are 513 job training programs that provide employment rate information among job training programs of 2016 Gwangju area on HRD-Net. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, The satisfaction score of the job training programs calculated on the basis of the six dimensions of satisfaction is 4.46. The NCS level of the job training programs ranged from 2 to 6. The average score of the programs was 3.32. Second, satisfaction with the job training programs has no statistically significant effect on the employment rate, but the NCS level of the job training programs was found to be statistically significant in the interaction effect. Finally, policy implications, limitations, and further research directions are mentioned through this study.

  • Evaluation of education and training is the act of measuring and observing contents related to an educational program and evaluating its quality; and thereby providing the basis for the changes in the curriculum. The National Library of Korea (NLK) has urgently needed to introduce an evaluation method that can enhance the performance and quality of its continuing education program. Therefore, this study is aimed at developing an evaluation model that can objectively and comprehensively measure the effectiveness of NLK's job training program for its librarians. To this end, the study applied Kirkpatrick's 4-Level Training Evaluation Model and conducted review of preceding researches, investigation of NLK's librarian continuing education program, along with analysis on the stakeholders' needs. Based on the results, the study suggested evaluation system to establish the directions of the evaluation system. The findings of this study are expected to be used as a practical evaluation system for NLK's librarian education program.

  • 최근 연평도 포격사건과 같은 북한의 무력공격이나 고밀집시설의 대규모화에 따른 재난사고, 한반도의 기후 온난화 영향에 따른 자연재해에 의한 화생방(CBRNE)피해와 구조 활동의 제약 등으로 인한 막대한 인명 및 재산 피해가 발생가능성과 국외적으로는 911테러, 7.7런던테러 등 다양한 테러사건이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 화생방테러에 총괄적으로 대응하는 노력은 시급한 국가적 과제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 대한 피해저감방안으로 불특정 다수에게 일어날 수 있는 화생방테러에 맞서 교육훈련 프로그램 개발이 필요하여, 본 연구에서는 국내외 화생방 훈련프로그램 분석을 통하여 한국형 화생방 프로그램 컨텐츠를 인지, 기초, 중급, 고급과정으로 구분하여 국내 실정에 맞는 프로그램을 제안하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the alternative method of the new training program for film acting and directing. Recently in Korea, acting in movies has become a trend and broadcasting still depicts reality. But men of the theater is usually privileged getting the most acting education offered by the theater training program. They also is hardly teach about acting's directing for film directors. So I thought of establishing a new training program for film acting and acting's directing. I made two short films , that I had practical training program for film acting as practical text. This program applied partially 'Atude' that Stanislavsky devised for theater acting practice, and referred to 'Method Acting System' that Lee Strasberg made for film acting at the Actors Studio. Another main point of this program is camera use. That training program can be attended not only by actors but also by director and film staff. Through this thesis, I wish to prove my new training program for film acting and acting directing. The focus of this training is to target a better execution according to the group you belong to whether amateur group, associate professionals, professional actors.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a competency model that enhances the management capabilities of vocational training institutions and to identify the priorities of educational needs. After reviewing prior studies to tentatively establish a competency model, a training needs assessment was conducted in the field using this model. Data for the analysis were collected through a survey conducted among vocational training institutions. Following the needs assessment, a new management competency model for vocational training institutions was formulated, comprising six competencies and 26 competency dimensions, by eliminating the dimensions considered relatively less important. The competency model developed through this study is anticipated to be utilized in creating management education programs for directors of domestic vocational training institutions.

  • The purpose of this study was to classify VR programs according to their characteristics and associations by the disaster management phase and firefighting school curriculum, and set priorities among VR fire training and training programs using AHP analysis., The relative priority is given considering its importance and urgency. As a result of the study, firefighting education and training classes showed the highest level of response. The relative priority of the subcategories was highest in the prevention stage. The simulation implementation for the evacuation experience was highest in closed spaces, such as a subway, and the simulation for the special firefighting vehicle was highest in the contrast phase. In the response phase, real fire simulation training was the highest. In the recovery phase, virtual reality training was the most effective in determining the fire situation based on the fire database.

  • The research has provided elementary and junior high school students at Children's Center in Incheon district and analyzed its effective factors in both educational and operational aspects. The educational factors in reading discussion include reading, writing, presenting, listening, and rethinking. In the result, the influential factors are as follows: the respondents' emotional intelligence, the level of reading completion, the level of sympathy with class participants, and the level of advance preference on reading. There are additional factors that have influences on the result, including suitability of topics, capabilities of leaders, selection of books, and combination of basic educational training, like speaking and writing.
