A Study on the Standardized Teaching-Learning Model for the Education of the Information Ethics in the Interdisciplinary Curricula (통합교과에서의 정보윤리 교육을 위한 표준화된 교수-학습모델 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the study is to suggest a standardized teaching-learning model as a method for strengthening the practical effect of the information ethic education for the adolescent, which is practiced in schools as the inter-disciplinary way. A survey was put to teachers and their needs are analyzed. At the same time, in order to draw the practical teaching-learning model, the teaching examples were collected for contesting. Through this process, a bottom-up approach which tries to analyze the actual class examples and generalizes them, the teaching-learning model has been suggested. As a result, another survey was conducted for the investigation of the efficacy of the model between beneficiary group and comparison group. The results are as followings; the experiment group showed a higher index in regard with such items as Information Culture Index, Lesson Satisfaction Degree, and Practice Will than Comparison Group, and the differences are statistically significant. A Study on the Teaching Method of Mobile Platform App Development for Improving Computing Thinking (컴퓨팅 사고력 향상을 위한 모바일 플랫폼 앱 개발 교수·학습 방법 연구)

  • Not only learners majoring in computer science, but also non-engineered learners want to implement their ideas as apps through real-life problems. In response, first-year university students with little experience in creating apps studied how to develop mobile platform apps to improve computing thinking skills. We applied the teaching and learning procedures of the Discovery-Design-Development among the software teaching and learning models, and used Android Studio Unified Development Environment (IDE) as a development tool to design mobile platform app development projects and assess whether they helped improve computing thinking skills. The application of the designed teaching and learning method found that the project output was implemented as an app through emulator, which gave students high interest in class and satisfaction, and was effective in improving their computing thinking ability.

  • 교수-학습 방법 발전이 필요하다는 논리와 관련해서 선진국들의 교육 추세를 눈여겨볼 필요가 있다. 첫째, 교육이라는 행위가 교사가 주도하는 교수(teaching, instruction)로부터 학생이 주도하는 학습 (learning)으로 바뀌어 가는 추세이고, 둘째, 학습에 있어서 자극-반응 모델에 기초한 반응에는 강조를 두지 않고 인지(cognition), 즉 지각과 사고를 강조하고 있는 추세이며, 셋째, 따라서 학생이 학습을 제대로 해 가는 데 필요한 여러 가지 방략(strategy), 가령 구성적 방략이나, 비고츠키 모델 등이 개발되거나 원용되고 때로는 기존 방략들(탐구적 방법, 문제해결 방법 등)이 재 강조되면서, 그 방략들이 학생들에게 유효하도록 가르쳐 지고 있는 실정이다.(중략)

  • This study investigates strategies to increase learning efficiency for programming subjects to which flipped learning teaching method is applied targeting non-major students. Design a learner-centered flipped learning-based programming class and get strategies for effective application methods for field application. Also, the purpose is to explore the efficient application of the flipped learning teaching method to the computational thinking subject of liberal arts classes at this university. By applying the flipped learning teaching method, one of the innovative teaching methods, we consider ways to improve the quality of programming subject classes, the efficiency of practical education, and the improvement of learner achievement. The purpose of this study is to design an efficient learning model for software education targeting non-majors by applying various teaching methods and learning design models convergence away from the traditional teaching method.

  • In this paper, we propose a Scorm-based Sequencing & Navigation Model for Collaborative Learning. It is an e-Learning process control model that is used to efficiently and graphically defining Scorm's content aggregation model and its sequencing prerequistites through a formal approach. To define a process based model uses the expanded ICN(Information Control Net) model. which is called SCOSNCN(SCO Sequencing & Navigation Control Net). We strongly believe that the process-driven model delivers a way of much more convenient content aggregating work and system, in terms of not only defining the intended sequence and ordering of learning activities, but also building the runtime environment for sequencing and navigation of learning activities and experiences.

  • 컴퓨터 네트워크의 발전에 의해 학습 공간의 시공간적인 확대와 교육 현장에서 교수-학습 과정에 대한 새로운 교수방법을 요구되었고, 유무선 방송, 인터넷 등을 이용하여 다양한 형태의 원격교육이 구체화되어 왔다. 하지만, 현재 운영되는 대부분의 원격교육시스템은 실질적인 학습 상황에서 단방향적인 개별 학습 형태를 보이고 있고, 사용자간의 쌍방향 상호작용을 위해서는 교수자나 학습자에게 일정 수준이상의 기술적 소양과 경제적 부담을 요구한다. 또한 교수자에게는 교수-학습 상황에서 발생하는 학습자 행동에 대한 실시간적인 모니터링과 학습자의 학습과정에 대한 평가의 어려움을, 학습자에게는 자기 반성의 기회를 제대로 제공하지 못하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 원격교육에서의 협동학습 지원, 사용자의 기술적, 경제적 부담의 제거, 학습 전(全) 과정에 대한 원활한 모니터링과 피드백 기회의 제공을 목적으로 원격협동학습 시스템을 설계하고, 이를 개발하였다. 본 연구에 의해 개발된 원격협동학습 시스템은 원격협동학습을 지원하는 네트워크 화이트보드, 학습 과정 및 결과를 자연어로 저장하는 저장 모듈, 그리고 저장된 학습 스크립트 파일을 해석하여 재생하는 스크립트 인터프리터로 구성되었다. 네트워크 화이트보드는 소프트웨어적으로 구현되어 부가적인 장치가 불필요하고, 통신 서버를 분산하여 서버 구축에 대한 부담을 제거하였고, 학습 내용 화면을 대화창으로 사용하여 사용자의 사용 편리성을 제고하였다. 또한 원격학습의 장(場)에 교수자가 참여하여 실시간적 모니터링이 가능하고, 학습의 전(全) 과정 및 결과를 저장한 자연어 스크립트 파일에 의해서도 학습자 행동에 대한 모니터링이 가능하다. 저장된 자연어 스크립트 파일은 구현된 인터프리터를 이용한 재생뿐 아니라, 파일 자체만으로도 학습과정을 판독할 수 있고, 스크립트 파일에 대한 해석은 교수자에게는 학습자의 학습 과정에 대한 평가 및 피드백의 근거를, 학습자에게는 자신의 학습 행동에 대한 반성의 기회를 제공한다. 본 시스템은 기존의 원격교육시스템에 비해 장비 및 인터페이스 측면에서 간소화되었고, 원격교육에 면대면 학습 개념을 근사적으로 접목시킨 교수 모델로서의 충분한 가치를 제공하나, 실제적인 학습 적용과 효과에 있어서의 타당성은 차후 검증이 있어야 하고, 또한, 이에 따른 시스템에 대한 지속적인 보완도 필요하다.

A Study on the VPBL Model for SW Liberal Education (SW 교양 교육을 위한 VPBL 모델에 관한 연구)

  • This paper studies VPBL(Various PBL) models, applies them to classes, and analyzes results so that students of various majors can design and implement problems according to the characteristics of their majors in order to improve problem solving in education. VPBL performs the process of designing and implementing problems that reflect the characteristics of the major by applying constraints to the professor's programming language. The professor performs mini_class in the process of solving the designed problem and then shares it throughout. VPBL model apply results, The traditional teaching method was 3.51 points and the application of the VPBL model was 4.52 points, and "interaction, understanding of learning contents, and acquiring knowledge related to curriculum" were improved. In addition, VPBL has the advantage of expanding the learning range in the solving process as it is based on various problem solving, which has the effect of expanding the learning range compared to existing class models. Research on the expanded application of various SW liberal education in the future is required.

  • With the advent of ubiquitous society, the paradigm of education is also changing. In u-learning in ubiquitous environment, mobile devices such as cellular phone, PDA, PMP, UMPC and TPC will become important learning tools. Particularly if RFID, a key technology in ubiquitous society, is utilized in teaching-learning along with mobile devices, we can expect much more meaningful learning. The present study proposed four types of application of RFID to teaching.learning, which were RFID-card, RFID-book, RFID-label and RFID-test, and examined their possibility and effectiveness. According to the results of this study, technology was insufficient to support the application of RFID-label to teaching-learning and continuous research was required for modeling the application of RFID to teaching-learning.

  • The era of the 4th industrial revolution is being built on the digital revolution. In order to understand and properly utilize these technological advances, digital literacy education is emphasized. This study investigated the components of digital literacy and proposed a curriculum & teaching and learning method improvement plan, and instructor digital literacy cultivation method. In order to improve the curriculum, it is necessary to improve the curriculum by expanding the ability to solve digital problems. As a plan to improve teaching and learning methods, it is necessary to present a linkage and convergence educational model based on communication, collaboration, and sharing between instructors and learners through the establishment of an interactive platform. In order to improve the digital literacy of instructors, it is very important to improve the educational environment that can easily design a learner-centered educational model. This study is meaningful in that it presented basic data for creating an educational environment based on communication and collaboration through digital literacy in an environment connected with digital technology.

Exploration on Teaching and Learning Strategies through Analyzing Cases of Foreign Engineering Education (해외 공학교육 사례분석을 통한 교수학습 전략 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore teaching and learning strategies through analyzing cases of foreign engineering education. With the analysis criteria composed of engineering education model, teaching and learning method, evaluation strategy, and technology supporting strategy, 10 foreign colleges of engineering in 5 countries were examined and analyzed. Teaching and learning strategies deduced from analysis state as follows. First of all, it need to develop engineering education models that reform should be made in systematic approach to teaching and learning, workplaces and laboratories, evaluation, technology support, etc. Secondly, the strategy for teaching and learning recommends supporting student directed learning, active learning participation, and collaboration learning by inductive learning strategies such as problem based learning, inquiry learning, project based learning, studio based learning, and blended learning. Thirdly, the evaluation strategy suggests that evaluation should be made to reflect students' learning and facilitate continuous learning based current learning results while it is necessary to build up a whole evaluation system. Finally, it is the educational technology approach for systematic engineering education that is required considering that many foreign colleges of engineering have reformed engineering education through technology supporting systems and are maximizing research and education in connection with other universities. This study is expected to contribute as preliminary data in developing further teaching and learning models and strategies for nurturing engineering students.
