The purpose of this study is to discuss plan for the development of accreditation system for instructional materials and equipment in kindergarten. Instructional materials in early childhood education are enough importance and effectiveness is high. In addition, the commercialization of materials, a number of common trends in the development of instructional materials, and these materials and ensure a qualitative judgment of the teaching and learning are required. So that can be used easily in the field to develop the instructional materials of excellent quality, maintenance, and management of a professional certification system is a demand. In this paper, the current situation in the instructional materials authentication system to examine the books have such a system, to identify the problems, to suggest preferred direction for teaching and leaning materials certification system.

Distance learning makes it possible for educational consumers to study anywhere or anytime. In order to provide effective distance learning, it requires not only educational process and educational results to be closely correlated but also a method for teachers and students to communicate immediately. We devised a dialogue system like a chatting program containing an editor. With this program, students can learn a programming practice by chatting between a teacher and a student. We also incorporated a source code visualization technique based on diff algorithm so that the visualization technique makes it possible for students to recognize the remedies by teachers visually. The result comes by mixing the merits of a dialogue system giving a close interrelationship among users into a programming language education. We expect that the successful result would be tantamount to a face-to-face education.

Objective: The purpose is to verify that whether there are significant correlation between parent-teacher cooperation, quality of home environment, and mathematical interaction of parents and cognitive development of 3-year-olds, and the quality of home environment and mathematical interaction mediate the relationship between the parent-teacher cooperation and the cognitive development. Methods: A test was performed on 110 3-year-olds enrolledin a daycare center located in city S, and a questionnaire survey was conducted on their parents. We analyzed our data using SPSS WIN 21.0 and pearson's correlation, tested the mediating effect using regression, and used the Sobel test to check significance of the mediating effect. Results: Cognitive development of 3-year-olds was correlated with the parent- teacher cooperation, the quality of home environment, and mathematical interaction of parents. The quality of home environment showed complete mediating effect on the relationship between the parent-teacher cooperation and the cognitive development, and the mathematical interaction showed complete mediating effect on the relationship between the parent-teacher cooperation and the cognitive development. Conclusion/Implications: The parent-teacher cooperation indirectly predicts the cognitive development through the quality of home environment and the mathematical interaction. This research can contribute to the development of the family- institution connection program to facilitate the parent-teacher cooperation.

Leading educational paradigm based on Constructivism drives for many changes in the field of education. It causes the shift from instructor-based to learner-based learning, and cooperative teaming amongst the learners. Multi User Game (MUG) which is a network-based cooperative game is popular among many college students. MUG is known to provide positive and creative activities encouraging learners to participate, reform and produce new knowledge and skills. Thus, it has potential as an effective learning tool. In this study, however, we have designed a prototype of Cooperative MUG Game for elementary students to learn within networked environment to play while learning new knowledge and skills. The elementary students will interact with the other students through chatting while playing MUG.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were: (a) to assess indoor air quality such as $PM_{10}$, $CO_2$ concentrations in child daycare centers, (b) to compare the levels with each standard, and (c) to identify teachers' awareness of indoor air quality in child care centers. Methods: Data were obtained from seventeen child daycare centers and ninety-eight teachers in a district of Seoul, from April 3 to May 12, 2009. Collected data were analyzed by SAS 8.2, and descriptive statistics, $x^2$ test, student t-test, Pearson correlation analysis, and Spearman rank correlation were used. Results: The mean of $PM_{10}$ and $CO_2$ level were $50.3{\mu}g/m^3$ and 792.1ppm. Sixteen child daycare centers (94.2%) met the guidelines of the $PM_{10}$ level, so did thirteen child daycare centers (76.5%) in the $CO_2$ level. $CO_2$ levels were significantly low in child daycare centers using air cleaners than those do not using them (t=-6.03, p<.001). Types of child daycare centers were significantly correlated to the levels of $CO_2$, which public child daycare centers were low in $CO_2$ levels than those of private child daycare centers (t=-2.54, p=.013). There was no significant correlation between teachers' awareness and management attitude of indoor air quality while teachers' awareness of indoor air quality significantly raised the frequency of carpet cleaning. Methods of cleaning routines were significantly correlated with $PM_{10}$, and $CO_2$ levels. Conclusion: The $PM_{10}$ and $CO_2$ concentrations in child daycare centers were satisfactory. Those conditions are affected by general characteristics of child daycare centers and teachers' attitude regarding management of indoor air quality.

연구배경: 최근 청소년 흡연의 저연령화 문제가 심화되고 있어 청소년 흡연 대책마련이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 그 중에서도 흡연예방교육은 근본적인 문제를 해결할 수 있는데, 우리나라의 교육여건상 흡연예방교육을 위하여 할애할 수 있는 시간과 독립성, 교육내용상의 질을 한꺼번에 개선하기는 매우 힘들다. 이과 같은 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구는 기존의 교과 과정의 구조에 체계적인 연계성 이론을 적용하여 통합적인 흡연예방 프로그램을 구상하게 되었다. 연구방법: 수직적/수평적인 연계성 이론에서 통합성, 접합성, 연결성의 3가지 영역을 적용하기 위한 방법은 다음과 같다. 1) 지식, 태도, 기술, 행동에 따른 일반적 가이드 라인을 재조성하였다. 2) 효과적인 흡연예방을 위한 사회/심리적인 요인을 기존 교과와 같이 보완할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 3) 기존 교과서의 내용을 분석하여 흡연예방과 관련된 효과와 단원을 파악하여 2)과 3)을 접합하였다. 4) 연결성은 거시적인 관점에서 지금까지 개발된 모든 요소들이 관련되어 있음을 보여 주어야 하므로, 본 연구는 가이드라인, 강화내용, 각 교과 단원이 모두 연결되어 있음을 보여주는 표 제시로 완성하고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위하여 각 교과를 대표하는 교과서 총 111권이 검토되었다. 연구결과: 청소년 흡연예방에 효과적이라고 알려진 사회/심리적인 모든 요인들은 사회, 윤리, 도덕 등의 교과에서 충분히 다루고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나, 흡연과 직접적으로 관련되어 있지 않기 때문에 흡연예방교육과 상관이 없다고 여겨질 수 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위하여 각 관련 교과와 단원, 흡연예방관련지도를 제안하는 교사용 보완 지도자료 지침서가 개발되었다. 흡연예방교육에 필요한 모든 교육적인 요소들이 수직적(초중고등학교), 수평적(각 교과간)으로 연계되어 있음을 보여 주었다. 연구결론: 독립적인 흡연예방 프로그램을 개발하기 보다는 이와 같이 기존의 커리큘럼에 구조적으로 통합할 수 있는 흡연예방 프로그램이 비용-효율적일 수 있다.

The study objective was to understand the effects of self-efficacy and occupational value on the major satisfaction of pre-service childcare teachers. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 281 pre-service childcare teachers in A city. In the study results, first, pre-service childcare teachers highly perceived the self-regulatory efficacy and confidence of self-efficacy, the intrinsic value of occupational value, and the general satisfaction and perception satisfaction of major satisfaction. Second, there were statistically significant correlations between self-efficacy, occupational value, and major satisfaction of pre-service childcare teachers. Third, the self-efficacy and occupational value of pre-service childcare teachers had positive effects on the major satisfaction. Based on these study results, there should be more diverse research for the formation of proper self-efficacy and correct occupational value, so that students majoring in childcare could perceive the importance of major satisfaction and also perform their childcare jobs with high-quality.

With the reformation of organization and function of local office of education in 2010, consulting-supervision is introduced to schools as a system for education reform to improve the quality of school education. However, a dedicated on-line portal system that can provide integrated management on the functionalities of consulting-supervision has not been implemented yet. To successfully operate consulting-supervision in schools, it is also needed to provide an on-line consultant education system, that can support teachers to train themselves as a supervision-consultant. In this paper, we introduce an on-line consultant training system that provides various learning activity tools for consultant training based on Learning Activity Management System(LAMS) and Action Learning. The system consists of Management stage, Analysis stage, Solution stage, and Action stage for the empowerment of consultants' expertises, and is named as MASA. Brain-writing, SWOT(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threads) analysis, 5Whys, decision grid, PMI(Plus, Minus, Interesting), and black chart techniques were developed in MASA as learning activity tools for consultant training.

Camps that provide students with edutainment and cooperative work experiences gain a great popularity worldwide. Accordingly, many camp programs with a variety of subjects and contents have been developed and introduced. The operations managements related to the camp, however, has not been nearly dealt with and the camp staffs in practical camp programs have had heavy burden of clerical works during the camp. To address this problem, this study designed a new operation system for clerical works in camp (OSCWC) for consistently managing associated data by its database and automatically providing camp-related documents via internet. In this study, we validated its effectiveness by applying an its web-based prototype to real data of previous camp case. The camp staffs can handle significant camp-related works and enhance the quality of camp program by reducing miscellaneous works through the use of OSCWC. As a result, the system will help to reduce total operating cost of camp.

Web based learning has been used for many educational systems by aid of the development of internet technique. The true process of education includes not only learning contents but also learning process and the evaluation. So far, Web-based evaluation mainly consists of the evaluation of the learning products or the evaluation of the cognitive domain. But, there is lack of the appropriate feedback for learning effects. In this paper, we design and implement an evaluation system for Web-based instruction. In our system, the learners are evaluated during the process of Web-based learning. Our system provides learner-centered instruction for students with instant feedback. The questions made up by teachers are stored in the database and can be searched by a keyword, grade, semester or unit. The evaluation system can also provide the feedback to right or wrong answer for each question. Our system provides the learners with instant feedback after solving the questions and also can improve the quality of learning process using the Web.
