Prototype 고온 초전도 케이블의 제작 및 교류손실 (The Characteristics on AC Losses and Construction of Prototype High-Tc Superconducting Cable)

  • Superconducting power cable is one of the most promising energy application of high-Tc superconductors (HTS). Thus, we investigated previously the characteristics on electrical and mechanical Bi-2223 Ag sheathed tape. And a prototype HTS cable have been designed, constructed and tested. The result shows that the transport current of HTS cable (1, 19-filament) in LN2 was 116[A], 240[A], respectively. And AC loss of HTS cable(19-filament) was 1.7 [W/m] in 240 [A] loading.

  • A new single stage AC/DC converter based on the forward converter is proposed. The proposed converter offers both the high power factor and the direct conversion from ac line to dc output voltage. Also, the proposed converter reduces the diode conduction loss, so improves the overall efficiency of the converter, compared with other alternatives. The principles of operation and the simulation results of the proposed converter are presented. A 100 W prototype was built and tested to show the potential of applications of the proposed converter.

  • AC loss which is generated in an HTS wire varies with the direction of the magnetic field. This paper calculated and measured the AC loss in the HTS double pancake windings. Brandt equation is used to calculate the loss by perpendicular magnetic field. Calorimetric method is used to measure the AC loss. Results of calculated AC loss are compared with measured AC loss.

  • The magnetization and self-field losses of the four technical high-T$_{c}$ superconducting tapes have been investigated experimentally. The results show that the magnetization losses for parallel or perpendicular fields can be well predicted from the slab model or the strip model for a filamentary region. However the magnetization losses for longitudinal fields can be rather predicted by the slab model for a decoupled filament. The self-field losses are well explained by the Norris ellipse model.l.

  • High current density Bi-2223 tapes have recently become commercially available. The ac loss is an important issue in the design of high-T$_{c}$ superconducting power cables. In such complicated devices, special caution is required in the placing of voltage leads for measuring the in-phase voltage. In this paper, the ac losses for different contacts and arrangements of voltage leads have been experimentally investigated in a single layer model cable and discussed.d.

  • In this work the AC loss measurement setup based on an iron core background magnet, not used in a conventional one, has been successfully developed, To prove its validity, a round-robin test for the same Bi-2223 tape sample among three institutes has been done. The results show that test data from the developed setup well agree with losses measured at different institutes.

  • This paper presents calculated and measured AC losses of the HTS pancake coil. Magnetic field in the HTS coil under operating conditions was calculated by FEM. Results of measured ac loss in 4-stacked short sample were used in the AC loss calculation. Various methods, such as, electric method, calorimetric method, wattmeter method, were used to measure the AC loss.

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 기후변화 체제 수립 이후 신재생 에너지의 지속적인 증가와 디지털 부하의 증가로 DC배전으로 마이크로그리드 계통을 구성하고 운영하여 기존 교류기반의 배전계통에서 발생하는 전력변환 단계의 손실을 줄이고, 무효전력에 의한 손실을 배제하는 DC 마이크로그리드가 확대될 것이라는 주장을 국내 에너지 정책의 검토, 국내외 마이크로그리드 현황, 국내외 DC배전 현황으로 뒷받침하고, 실제 현장에서 마이크로그리드 구축에 DC배전을 적용하기 위한 방안을 제언한다.

  • IT 산업의 발전에 따른 디지털 부하 증가는 기존 교류 배전 방식에서 DC 전원 공급에 따른 전력 변환 손실을 야기시킨다. 또한, 향후 신재생에너지를 통한 발전원 및 전기자동차의 계통 유입 확대로 인해 AC/DC 전력 변환에 따른 손실은 더욱 증대될 것으로 예상된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 DC 전원 공급율에 따른 전력 공급량 산정 기법을 제안한다. 또한, 탄소배출 비용을 함께 고려하여 DC 전원 공급율에 따른 신재생에너지 계통 연계의 경제적 타당성을 분석한다.
