  • The Purpose of this study is to develop landscape Preference and define elements of difference in landscape preference of the 1-span Steel Box Girder Bridge by Bridge Shape Parameters(BSP) through Design of Experiments. Lately, the 1-span Steel Box Girder Bridge is dominations much component ratio and the Steel Box Girder Bridge has strong Points that is economically Profitable and management has easy when construct. but landscape preference of the 1-span Steel Box Girder Bridge was evaluated low because impression of landscape is being surfeited and dulled. Do to consider optimization in design that give change to Bridge Shape Parameters(BSP) to supplement this shortcoming in this study. Therefore, this study changes Bridge Shape Parameters(BSP) and extract elements that influence in landscape preference of the 1-span Steel Box Girder Bridge. and based on the design that consider landscape Preference of the 1-span Steel Box Girder Bridge, some essential guidelines for rational design of the 1-span Steel Box Girder Bridge suggested.

  • This paper addresses vibration comfort evaluation on suspension bridge subjected to moving vehicles. The moving load method is commonly employed for the analysis, even though it is less accurate than the moving mass approach which considers vehicle-bridge interaction effects and roughness of the pavement. In this study, a parametric study on modeling method by means of the moving load technique, such as the number of modes included in the analysis, types of moving loads, and length of the stiffening girder, is carried out. The numerical result indicated that use of the triangular pulse load may result in significant overestimation on vibration discomfortness.

  • 몇 일 전 필자는 대전에 위치한 한 연구소에 근무하고 계신 분으로부터 지진취약도 분석에 관한 문의 전화를 받았다. 그분의 대학 후배가 지진취약도에 대한 연구를 하고 싶다는 내용이었다. 최근 필자는 그분 외에도 다른 분들과 함께 지진취약도 분석 및 이를 확장한 바람에 의한, 혹은 홍수에 의한 구조물의 확률적 안전성 분석에 관한 논의를 하곤 하였다. 현재까지 국내에서는 구조물의 취약도 분석에 대한 연구가 그다지 활발하지 않으나, 이에 대한 관심은 지속적으로 증가할 것으로 보여진다. 지진취약도를 한마디로 요약하면, "임의의 크기를 갖는 지진이 발생하였을 때, 구조물에 어느 규모 이상의 손상이 발생할 확률"을 의미하는 것으로, 구조물의 확률적 지진안전성으로 부를 수 있다. 예를 들어, "최대지반가속도가 0.1g인 지진이 발생하였을 때, 해당 구조물에 보수를 요하는 수준 이상의 손상이 발생할 확률이 30%이다"와 같은 정보를 지진취약도 곡선으로부터 읽을 수 있다.   • 현행 도로교설계기준의 바닥판에 대한 설계방법은 휨 이론에 따라 바닥판을 단위 폭의 보로 보고 강도설계법으로 설계하고 있다. 그러나 실제 교량 바닥판의 파괴 형태는 펀칭에 의한 파괴이므로 바닥판의 극한성능은 펀칭전단강도를 토대로 평가해야 할 것이다. 하지만 기존에 연구된 결과로는 초간편 강합성 바닥판의 펀칭전단강도를 산정하기 어려워 이에 대한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 초간편 강합성 바닥판의 펀칭전단성능을 파악하기 위하여 초간편 강합성 바닥판과 RC바닥판에 대한 펀칭전단실험을 실시하여 비교하여 보았다.

  • 최근들어 반복하중에 의한 철근콘크리트 구조물의 손상이 자주 발견되고 있으며 교량 등의 구조물 등은 때때로 과적차량에 의한 초과하중을 받아 이러한 피로손상이 심화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 반복 하중을 받는 철근 콘크리트보의 누적피로손상에 대한 실험적 연구룰 수행하여 피로하중에 의한 철근콘크리트보의 손상과정을 규명하였다. 실험 변수를 전단철근의 양과 반복되는 하중의 크기 및 반복횟수로 하여 실험부재를 제작하였으며, 하중제어에 의한 휨시험법에 의해 3Hz의 반복하중을 시편에 재하하였다. 사인장 균열하중과 사인장 균열 후 반복하중에서의 보의 손상누적거동 즉 처짐. 전단철근의 변형도, 에너지 손실 등의 변화를 실험적으로 평가하였으며, 이를 통하여 반복하중에 의한 누적손상에 의해 철근 콘크리트보의처짐 및 전단변형도가 초기하중상태에서는 급격히 증가하다가 이후 점진적으로 증가하는 것을 규명하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 사용하중상태에서 점진적으로 발생할 수 있는 피로손상의 누적과정을 기술하여 주고 있다.

  • This paper represents the results carried out to determine the dynamic response characteristics of Korea High Speed Rail(KHSR) bridges. The responses of the KHSR bridges subjected to the moving train loading are obtained through the simplified method for the 2-dimensional train/track/bridge interaction analysis in which the eccentricity of axle loads and the effect of the torsional forces acting on the bridge are included for the more accurate train/track/bridge interaction analysis. The results of the analyses are compared with the field test data to verify the performance of the 2-dimensional train/track/bridge interaction analysis method.

  • Capacity spectrum method(CSM) of ATC-40(1996) and displacement coefficient method(DCM)of FEMA-273(1997) are applied to evaluate the seismic performance of bridges. In this study, equivalent response is obtained from nonlinear static analysis for the 3spans continues bridge and nonlinear maximum displacement response is calculated using CSM and DCM. Nonlinear maximum displacement response of DCM is larger than this of CSM. It is method that DCM can evaluate target displacement and ductility of structural to be easy and simple, but tend to overestimate the maximum displacement response. Therefore, this method is mainly used at preparation design level to evaluate the structural response. It is not desirable to evaluate the seismic performance using DCM.

  • This paper presents the application of system identification approaches for the safety assessment of RC-T type bridge based on the result of field test. For these problems, the moment of inertia of cross-sectional area and the natural frequency of bridge were used as structural parameters, the SAP90 program for the structural analysis and the SLP method for the minimum error. As a result, it is found that the proposed algorithm for this study appears applicable to real structures with reasonable complexity. It is shown that the introduction of approximate quadratic equations is more realistic and timesaving than the common methods.

  • Considering uncertainties of random input data, it is more reasonable to use probabilistic method than the conventional deterministic method for the design of structures or for the assessment of the responses of structures, which are designed as safe even under extreme loads. Therefore, to assess the quantitative effects of the constructed cable stayed bridge by the input random variables, a sensitivity analysis is studied. Using perturbation method, an analysis program is developed for the iterative probabilistic finite element analyses and sensitivity analyses of the cable stayed bridge, except the initial shape analysis. Monte-Carlo Simulations were used for the verification of the developed program. The results of sensitivity analysis shows the governing effects of external loads. Analysis of Moment Effect of Bridge Design Live Load KL-510 by Statistical Analysis of WIM Data of Expressway (고속도로 WIM 데이터의 통계분석을 통한 교량 설계활하중 KL-510의 모멘트 효과 분석)

  • The live load effect of KL-510 of the current Korean bridge design code is examined by comparing with that of the multiple trucks of which the weights are statistically estimated from measured traffic data as well as with those of the related live load models. The truck weight data measured on the expressway before and after overweight enforcement are used to obtain the truck weights following the same procedures in deciding the live load model of the design codes and the results are compared with the load effect of KL-510. KL-510 yields a very uniform loading effect compared with the multiple truck effects when the weights are estimated from the data which contains some of the heavy trucks over the operational weight limit. KL-510 yields consistent results with the live load of AASHTO LRFD and shows less variation than the past load model DB-24 over the span lengths considered in this study. As a result of this research, the actual truck combinations equivalent to the notional KL-510 load model are constructed and it can be applied to the evaluation of the existing bridge and the calibration of the load factor of the permit vehicle.
