A study of Teacher's Perception on Selecting Mathematics Textbook (수학 교과서 선정 기준에 관한 교사들의 인식 조사)

  • The purpose of the research is to examine the teachers' cognition about the math textbook selecting and to provide the implications about the rational process of the textbook selection and criteria based on the research. In terms of the research result about the inner and outer criteria of the actual process of the textbook selecting, they utilized the standard selection criteria distributed by Office of Education, and they considered 'Organization of learning contents' and 'Learning evaluation' as the most important factors. The selection method was that the answer 'After scoring the grade with matching standards, selecting by adding the total score' was the highest. In case of the actual selection, the most considerable inner criteria appeared 'Learning quantity and propriety of the difficulty level'. The outer criteria showed 'Awareness', and the difficulty in the selection process was 'in sufficient time for reviewing'. Based on this research result, we draw the implication that needs to be improved in the process of the textbook selection and the criteria.

A Study on Compilation Strategy of 『Manufacturing Processes』 Textbook for Technical High School based on the 2007 Revised National Curriculum (2007년 개정 교육과정에 의한 '기계 공작법' 교과서 편찬 방안 연구)

  • The aim of this study is to select lesson contents of "Manufacturing Processes" textbook and to provide means to improve the compilation strategy based on the 2007 revised national curriculum. For accomplishing this purpose of the study, reviews of "Manufacturing Processes" textbook by 7th national curriculum and questionaries are conducted. Contents organization of lessons is done by specialists. The results are as followed: first, Changing in contents organization of units and chapters in "Manufacturing Processes" textbook based on the 2007 Revised National Curriculum is confirmed. Second, learning subjects of lessons are reformed and complemented. Third, contents organization of units, chapters, lessons are indicated.

Experience Analysis on the Selection of the 2015 Revised Science Authorized Textbook by Elementary School Teachers (초등학교 교사의 2015 개정 과학과 검정 교과서 선정 경험 분석)

  • This study aims to present implications for the appropriate establishment and development of a science-authorized textbook system through an understanding of the process of selecting science-authorized textbooks and analyzing the perception of teachers. Toward this end, this study conducted interviews with five elementary school teachers who participated in the science textbook selection process, surveys on 32 teachers, and analysis on the authors of the textbooks. The result demonstrated, first, that the "opinion gathering" stage was the most important one, and a council was formed in consideration of career and major. Moreover, the evaluation standard was reorganized and used according to the situation of the school. Second, in the process of opinion gathering, the teachers used a method for reviewing the entire textbook for each teacher. Inquiry activities and textbook composition (readability) were crucially considered as internal factors, and teaching and learning materials, such as videos, were deemed extremely important as external factors. The variable of the author, which is an indicator of the reliability and expertise of textbooks, was also recognized as vital. Third, the deliberation by the School Committee and the report by the principal were recognized as the administrative final step after selection. Finally, selecting the most suitable textbooks for each grade group was recognized as more important than arbitrarily unifying textbooks for the third and fourth grades and for the fifth and sixth grades.

Secondary Mathematics Teachers' Use of Mathematics Textbooks and Teachers' Guide (수학교사의 교과서 및 교사용 지도서 활용도 조사)

  • This study aims to investigate how secondary mathematics teachers use mathematics curriculum materials such as textbooks and teachers' guide in planning lessons and for their learning. 24 in-service mathematics teachers participated in surveys and two among them were interviewed. The findings from the data analysis suggest that: a) the teachers actively engaged in decision-making processes of the transition from written curriculum to intended curriculum; and b) the teachers showed a tendency of consulting to the ideas suggested in the curriculum materials for selecting objectives and contents for lessons and the what to assess, not ideas for selecting teaching methods and how to assess. Also, various factors such as students' achievement, participation, interest in mathematics, family environment, and college entrance were identified to influence the teachers' use of the curriculum materials.

  • 교과목표가 설정되면 교과목표를 달성하기 위해 교육내용을 선정하고 조직해야 한다. 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육내용을 선정하고 조직하기 위해 먼저 교과목표가 설정되어야 하나 현재 컴퓨터 교과가 정식 교과로 인정받지 못해 교과목표는 재량활동 2시간 중 1시간을 의무적으로 실시하는 정보통신 기술교육의 목표를 교과의 목표로 참고하고 본 연구를 실시하였다. 현재 정보통신 기술교육 시간에 사용하는 교재에는 교육내용 선정과 조직에 관한 이론이 아주 짧게 언급되어 있다. 본 연구는 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육내용 선정과 조직의 방법을 교육학 이론을 바탕으로 정리하고 4가지 기준을 이용 컴퓨터 교육과정 계열화 도표를 제시해 보고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 대학 경호 교과과정에 대한 실제적 차이에 대하여 문화기술적 방법인 면접을 통하여 심층적으로 분석하는데 있다. 서울에 위치한 사기업에 근무하는 4년제 대학졸업자로 3년 이상의 실무경력자를 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 자료수집과 분석과정에서 연구진실성과 윤리성에 대해 전문가를 통해 지속적인 검증을 받았다. 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 활용성부분에 있어 무도 및 스포츠관련 교과목이 비서 및 의전관련 교과목 보다 상대적으로 많은 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 비서 및 의전관련 교과목에 대한 중요성을 강조하였다. 둘째, 교과과정의 프로그램의 필요성에 있어서 남성은 전문가 양성과 전공의 세분화를 강조하였으며, 여성은 여성학, 의전, 상류계층의 문화와 관련한 프로그램을 강조하였다. 셋째, 교과과정의 이론과 실무사이에 차이에 대하여 사경호에 대한 교과과정의 전문성의 차이점을 강조하였다.

Development for Curriculum and Coursework Design of Convergence Program of Psychology and Police in College (융합 대학전공 교과목 및 교육과정 개발: 범죄피해케어전문가양성과정을 중심으로)

  • This study proposed an 'Crime Victim Care Specialist(CVCS)' convergence curriculum for psychology and police students in college. First, the courses and the curriculums of counseling, psychology, psychotherapy, police, and police administration departments in nationwide were listed. After consulting with professors from 2 majors, 3-levels curriculum and courses were drafted. Second, for the inputs from the field, a panel of 51 crime victim care/counseling/psychotherapy experts were Delphi surveyed about goodness of fit and importance. The result were following. First, the curriculum were consisted of required, basics, advanced courses. The required course were 5 courses for each department. The basics were for the minors and 7 courses for each. The advanced were for the double majors and 4 courses for each. Finally, the implication and further studies were suggested.

지식기반 학사지원시스템 구현에 관한 연구

  • 최근 대학들은 학부제 시행에 따른 학생들의 교과목선택권이 확대됨으로써 수강신청시 학사진도를 강화해야 할 필요성이 대두되고 있으며, 학생들은 자신의 진로에 맞는 좀 더 바람직한 교과목을 선택하고 이수하는데 체계적인 도움을 필요로 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학생들이 자신의 목표\ulcorner진로에 맞는 교과과정을 원활히 이수할 수 있도록 도움을 주고자 교과목선정에 대한 상담을 지원하는 지식기반 학사지원시스템을 개발하여 보고자 한다. 개발될 학사지원시스템은 지도교수의 시간부담을 줄이고, 학생들에게는 언제든지 상담을 받을 수 있도록 함으로서 수강신청시 교과목 선정을 보다 효과적으로 지원할 수 있을 것이다.

수요지향적 IT 인력양성

  • 정보통신부는 지난해 12월, '2004년도 IT/비 IT 학과 교과과정 개편지원 사업'을 발표하면서 컴퓨터-소프트웨어 분야 5개 전공트랙 및 수요지향적 교과목을 제시하고, 이들 5개 전공트랙 중 하나를 선택하여 지원하는 대학들에게 우선 배정된 예산을 지원하겠다고 발표한 바있다. 이에 따라, 지난 2월, 39개 대학이 선정되어 제시된 전공트랙별 교과과정 및 수요지향적 교과목에 따라 2004년도 1학기 강의가 진행되고 있다.
