The Effect of Expected Perspective on the Role of Genre and Attitude toward Utilizing Genre in Broadcast Ad on the Liking of Broadcast Ad Genre (방송광고에서 장르의 역할에 대한 기대관점과 활용에 대한 태도가 방송광고 장르에 대한 호감도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of expected perspective on the role of genre and attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad on the liking of broadcast ad genre as appeal types of creativity. The results show that there is a significant correlation between macro-environmental expected perspective(MEEP) on the role of genre and a negative attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad. A significant correlation between micro-practical expected perspective(MPEP) and a positive attitude was also found. Consumers with an integrated-situational expected perspective(ISEP) show a more significant relationship with the dual attitude. Consumes with a MPEP have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with an ISEP show a median liking. Consumers with positive attitude have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with a dual attitude show a median liking that is between the positive attitude-based consumers' and negative attitude-based consumers'.

  • This study aimed to suggest ways to utilize local governments' SNS by recognizing whether advertising affinity affects advertising effectiveness and significant differences between photo types (personality or absence) and generation. The survey was conducted from 1 April to 16 April 2021, and a total of 235 copies were used for empirical analysis. According to the analysis, advertising likeability affects advertising effects, and photos involving tourists have a greater impact on advertising effects in their 20s. This will require local governments to make various efforts to identify the generations that access SNS the most, and to encourage them to post photos suitable for that generation, along with ensuring that tourists' photos are posted at tourist attractions.

The Use of Calligraphy for Attention and Liking : Focusing on Interaction Effects of Emotion and Involvement (캘리그래피가 광고의 주목성과 호감도에 미치는 영향 : 감성과 관여도의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Calligraphy has become popular in recent years. Designers use calligraphy to draw consumer visual attention and liking by delivering friendly and gentle images. This paper analyzes the effects of calligraphy on consumer response to advertisement design. Regression analyses show calligraphy has a positive effect on consumer visual attention and liking, particularly in sensible product/service. In low involvement product/service, however, calligraphy has a negative effect. These results imply that designers should be careful when they use calligraphy.

  • This study analyzed the reactions of ad liking, empathy and psychological resistance to antismoking public advertisements through in-depth interviews of 30 adult males. According to the study, non-smokers responded favorably to the advertisement, while smokers were unhappy. In addition, smokers in their 40s and 50s showed a higher level of empathy for ads than those in their 20s and 30s. Smokers have tried various forms of psychological resistance to non-smoking messages, especially denigrating information sources. Based on the results of this research, a measure was proposed to enhance the effectiveness of the non-smoking advertisements.

Mediating Effects of Self-Regulatory System between Ad Liking and Emotional Engagement in Public Service Announcements (공익광고캠페인의 호감도와 몰입의 관계에서 자기조절체계의 매개효과)

  • The current study investigated mediating effects of self-regulatory system in the context of public service announcements (PSAs). We conducted a survey to collect participants' orientation of self-regulatory systems, emotional response and evaluation of PSAs. A total of 70 undergraduate students with mean age of 22.49 (SD = 3.22). Results showed that emotional engagement to the PSAs is affected by ad liking and, in turn, directly influences intention to act as a campaign outcome. Furthermore, our findings suggested that promotion-oriented individuals are more likely to commit PSA messages than do the prevention-oriented individuals. Therefore, messages of the PSA campaign should include hope and aspiration, indicating the connection of accomplishment and advancement.

  • This study investigated experimentally how factors of SNS advertising attribute impact on advertising likeability and purchase intention according to use motive and use intensity of SNS. Firstly showing difference according to use motive of SNS, in user of motive to managing human relation, reliability of advertising contents has effect the largest and entertainment of advertising interest has effect also as important factor. In user of motive to sharing interest information, irritation of advertising on using SNS has effect the largest negatively and information of advertising's information offering capability has effect larger as positive factor. Next showing difference according to use intensity of SNS, in user of high intensity, reliability and information of advertising contents has effect larger than other factors. In user of low intensity, irritation of advertising has effect the largest negatively and other factors have effect very small. This results can provide a practical contribution that explains important factors in producing effective SNS advertising according to using behavior characteristics of SNS.

Audience Awareness of Virtual Advertising and Product Placement (가상광고와 간접광고에 대한 수용자 인식)

  • Virtual Advertising and Product Placement which had been brought up to strengthen the competitiveness of the contents and vitalize the Advertising Industry, especially broadcasting advertising were finally adopted. This is a study to review what the background and the current condition of the virtual advertising and product placement are, identify what their current and potential problems are, and discuss how to settle the issues and make improvements. It also presents an empirical study on audience awareness. As a result of the study, audience tends to show high awareness of virtual advertising and product placement, to accept them more positively and show higher reliability of them than any other advertising. Moreover, it appears that they pay more attention to them, express their favor on them, and regard them convincing. This is an important point to both academic field and industry, which is likely to give suggestions to establish policy for virtual advertising and product placement and to develop broadcasting advertising in the future.

The comparative Analysis between Direct Sex Appeal Advertisements and Metaphorical Sex Appeal Advertisements (직접적 섹스어필광고와 은유적 섹스어필광고의 비교분석 -언더웨어 브랜드를 중심으로)

  • This study has tried the comparative analysis by classifying the underwear brand advertisement into direct sex appeal advertisement and metaphorical sex appeal advertisement. The effectiveness of advertisement expression has been studied by the comparative analysis for the advertisement attitude, the brand attitude, the purchasing intention based on the gender and the difference between design major and the others. As the study result, the conclusion, that the direct sex appeal advertisement on the characteristic of underwear brand has high effect on women, has been drawn. Also, it could be recognizable that men have high preference for the advertisement attitude, the brand attitude and the purchasing intention for the metaphorical sex appeal advertisement. Consequentially, the point that the effect on women can be maximized when the sex appeal expression is in harmony with the image of goods may be identified in case of the direct sex appeal advertisement in the underwear advertisement; it could be recognizable that men expressed their interests for metaphorical sex appeal expressions in underwear brand advertisements.

Effects of Banner Clicking and Attitude toward the Linked Target Ads on Brand-Attitude and Purchase-Intention Changes (배너광고 click과 연결된 목표광고에 대한 태도의 상표태도와 구매의도에 대한 영향 연구)

  • This paper explores the impact of banner exposure and clicking on brand-attitude changes and purchase intention changes. It is found that simple exposure to banner ads does not change people's initial brand-attitude and purchase intention, while voluntary exposure to target ads by clicking banner ads results in positive or negative brand attitude and purchase intention changes depending on the likability of the linked target ads from the banner ads. For methodology, this study employed a pretest posttest control group design and used online data collection technology called Cold Fusion. A total of 961 subjects participated in this research.

인적판매원을 활용한 구매시점고광고 연구: 정보전달형태에 따른 효과 분석

  • 이 연구의 목적은 소비자의 구매의도를 자극하고, 판매를 촉진시켜주는 구매시점광고(POP Ad: Point Of Purchase Advertising)의 소매판매 유통점 활용영역에서 정보전달형태 변화에 따른 광고효과 차이가 있는지를 연구하는데 있다. 연구의 배경과 방법은 통상의 구매시점광고가 정보전달 방법에 있어서 소비자 구매활동 장소 내 외에서 단순 비치, 설치된 상태로서 기능과 역할을 수행하고 있음을 착안, 광고소구형태를 시각, 청각 그리고 인적판매원이 관여된 혼합(시각, 청각)형으로 분류하여 정보를 전달 한 후 소비자의 태도 및 매출 비교를 위해 실증적 실험을 했다. 본 연구의 핵심 가설은 '인적판매원이 개입된 혼합형(시각, 청각) 구매시점광고가 소비자 태도(신뢰도/호감도/구매의도) 및 매출( + / -)영향도가 더욱 높게 나타날 것이다'이다. 이는 소비자에게 시각, 청각이 동시에 전달되는 혼합소구유형은 정보전달력이 우수하고, 광고 효과성이 높을 것이다를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 본격 연구 전에 실시한 1차 사전적 실증 실험결과 소비자가 지각하는 관점에 따라 시각형(광고의 정보내용을 인쇄물로 제공), 청각형(광고의 정보내용을 소리전달형태로 제공), 시각, 청각 혼합형(인적판매원이 시각형 정보를 활용 광고내용을 직접 전달)분류한 3가지 유형간 정보전달 효과의 차이는 없는 것으로 나왔다. 하지만, 본 연구는 생계형 소매유통 창업현장에서 활동하고 있는 소상공인들이 구매시점광고를 광고의 활용측면에서 능동형 마케팅 활동 도구로 사용할 수 있는지에 대한 실증적 사례 분석을 했다는 것에 의의를 두고자 한다. 업종별 차이는 있지만 대부분의 소상공인들의 마케팅 환경은 열악하다. 마케팅 전담 인력의 부재, 마케팅 지식의 부족, 전방위적 마케팅 전개 시간의 한계 등으로 인해 체계적으로 마케팅활동을 펼 칠 수 없는게 현실이다. 이에 현장 활용성이 높은 효율적이고 효과적인 구매시점광고의 광고정보전달 연구 및 개발이 요구된다고 보며, 이에 관한 지속적인 후행적 연구와 노력이 필요하다고 사료된다.
