Strategies for the Development of Cultural Product Design for the Promotion of Cultural Tourism Festivals(II) -Focusing on the Utilization of Local Cultural Resources- (문화관광축제 활성화를 위한 문화상품 디자인 개발 전략 연구(제 2보) -지역문화자원 활용을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the high value-added cultural product design with local cultural resources, and to contribute to promoting cultural tourism festivals. To accomplish this study, first, a preliminary survey is carried out the investigation of cultural product stores and visitors' questionnaire survey. Next, based on these survey and prior study, this study established the development direction and concept of fashion cultural products and to developed fashion cultural products using local cultural resources. Adobe Photoshop 6.0, and Adobe Illustrator CS Program were used for the standardization of patterns, textile design and illustration. The results of this study were as follows; First, based on preliminary research results, the problems of the design of cultural tourism festival products were derived. As one solution to solve this problem, this study established the development direction and concept of fashion cultural products to develop fashion cultural products. The concept of the Andong Maskdance Festival was 'Tribal-Holic'; the Boryeong Mud Festival, 'Get away form it all'; the Gangjin Celadon Festival, 'Timeless Memories'; the Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival, 'Lighting up the River'; the Chungju World Martial Arts Festival, 'Next Ergonomics Gym'; and the Muju Firefly Festival, 'Eco-Purity'. Second, based on the desired items of festival organizers and the survey of visitor's preference for cultural products, 4 items were selected by festival type. Then a total of 96 designs of 4 kinds each were developed using logos or characters, traditional patterns, special products, symbolizing region, or festival as a motif. Third, the strategy for development of cultural products design for promotion of cultural tourism festivals were 'Place identity design strategy', 'Market oriented design strategy', 'Buyer-Based pricing strategy', 'Regional brand strategy', and 'Distribution networks expansion strategy'.

  • Successful hosting of mesa-events such as the universiade games usually brings many external changes such as more domestic and foreign travelers, image improvement of the host country and region as well as promotion of the local economy through improving the infrastructure for the contest. This longitudinal study analyzed the effects of the winter universiade games, which were held at Muju in 1997, on the hosting rural area, based upon a multidimensional study. As a result, the inhabitants sensed that hosting the winter universiade games had large-scale investment effects on both the tourism industry and the regional development. On the other hand, hosting this kind of event was not quite successful in terms of activating the local economy, and the environment of Togyusan National Park was harmed.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the problem of installing VR theme park in Korea and to find a solution for it. VR is expected to play a leading role in the fourth industrial revolution as a new industry, but it is a reality that it is hard to feel its value in actual field. This is a reality that can not move one step further because it is trapped in the existing legal network rather than the essence of VR because it sees VR from the existing law frame. Because VR is regarded as an amusement device in the amusement facility and is regarded as a game, the former is applied to the Tourism Promotion Law and the latter is applied to the game industry law. When one content and hardware are applied to both laws at the same time and other regulations are applied to it, it is practically impossible to operate VR properly. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to revise each law little by little in each law and amend the law that can apply VR itself. This study is expected to contribute to the revitalization of VR industry by presenting the ultimate problems and solutions in creating VR theme parks in Korea.

  • La c$\hat{o}$te m$\acute{e}$ridionale de la Cor$\acute{e}$e du sud, et principalement la ville de Yeosu et ses environs pr$\acute{e}$sentent un int$\acute{e}$r$\hat{e}$t particulier puisque le paysage offre de nombreuses presqu'$\hat{i}$les, baies et $\hat{i}$les. Pour tirer profit de ces paysages naturels il est d'abord n$\acute{e}$ssaire de les prot$\acute{e}$ger. Malgr$\acute{e}$ la haute valeur de ces paysages naturels, ils demeurent peu connus et les analyses $\acute{e}$cotouristiques de la ville de Yeosu et ses environs sont encore incompl$\grave{e}$tes. Par ailleurs, la protection de ces paysages naturels est rendue difficile par la d$\acute{e}$sagr$\acute{e}$gation d$\hat{u}$e aux sels halo$\ddot{i}$des. Cette recherche a pour objet l'$\acute{e}$tude du tourisme physico-$\acute{e}$cologique et sa contribution au d$\acute{e}$veloppement $\acute{e}$conomique d'une r$\acute{e}$gion de Yeosu en Cor$\acute{e}$e du sud. Nous nous int$\acute{e}$ressons particuli$\grave{e}$rement au d$\acute{e}$veloppement d'une route $\acute{e}$cotouristique, aux crit$\grave{e}$res de s$\acute{e}$lection du lieu $\acute{e}$cotouristique et $\grave{a}$ la pr$\acute{e}$sentation des explications touristiques, en tenant compte de l'$\hat{i}$le de Sado et de ses paysages naturels sur le plan de l'$\acute{e}$cotourisme. Il y a plusieurs ressources $\acute{e}$cotouristiques sur l'$\hat{i}$le de Sado et dans ses environs: la plage de sable et la falaise de l'$\hat{i}$le de Sado; les traces fossiles de dinosaures, la ripple-mark et la crevasse dans le sol boueux de l'$\hat{i}$le de Joungdo; le tombolo, l'affleurement tufac$\acute{e}$ et le dyke de l'$\hat{i}$le de Silouseom; le trou provoqu$\acute{e}$ par les sels halo$\ddot{i}$des et le dyke de l'$\hat{i}$le de Jangsado; la mer ass$\acute{e}$ch$\acute{e}$e entre l'$\hat{i}$le de Naquek et l'$\hat{i}$le de Choudo. An Importance and Satisfaction Analysis for Improvement Efficiency Use of Waterfront - A Focus on the Waterfront Analysis for Domestic and Foreign Dragon Boat Festival - (친수공간 이용효율성 개선을 위한 중요도·만족도 분석 - 국내·외 드래곤 보트 페스티벌을 위한 친수공간 사례로 -)

  • This study was for analyzing the external environment and internal space structure and improving the way of use efficiency in waterfront through the Dragon boat festival to utilize waterfront actively. Through from the four target area, Hongkong, Busan, Incheon and Daejeon, this study was for an importance and satisfaction analysis for users about the element effect on the waterfront use efficiency and the contribution to cultural contents revitalization of waterfront by giving basic data. The result is as follows. First, in the importance analysis about 12 items, modern cultural infra around the waterfront was ranked highest, 8.26 and waterfront landscape, square & openspaces, convenience facilities, transport, green area, quality of viewing space, historic resources, pedestrian, suitability of width, wave, depth, water quality, berth & mooring were ranked in descending order. Second, waterfront landscape was interpreted by rather the external environmental impact according to city size than the matter of spatial structure in target area and judged as an important factor effect on site selection for waterfront. In the analysis of waterfront landscape, the reason of the high satisfaction about domestic target area was that riverside parks were recently made considering their waterfront activities. Viewing space was major infra where people could experience the pleasant waterfront and watch dynamic water leisure sports like Dragon boat three dimensionally and was thought to be improved for the use efficiency. Third, tourism resources were very important element that affect the use efficiency of waterfront, so waterfront users react sensitively to modern tourism resources rather than to historic resources. This meant that tourism infrastructure for shopping and leisure of the young affected the use efficiency of waterfront, so Hongkong and Busan were in a better position in terms of using waterfront that was near the tourism infrastructure. Fourth, in the analysis of traffic accessibility, both Hongkong and Busan were high evaluated in terms of excellent traffic accessibility by subway. Daejeon was low rated in terms of the satisfaction of use efficiency, because of the relative lower place awareness compared with transportation infrastructure. In Hongkong, waterfront was connected with downtown and in Busan, housing complex and shopping centers were located in the place for users in an easily accessible on foot, so the satisfaction was high-pitched. Finally, in the importance of water surface width and the analysis of satisfaction, except Incheon, all the three were over 200m in width of water surface and this meant the surface width above certain level was interpreted to interrupt the concentration of enjoying the water leisure sports. In the analysis of surface condition such as water quality, water depth and wave, through a survey, Busan had a problem with water quality and Gapcheon in Daejeon had a problem with optimal water depth by the festival participants.

Activation of Harbor City Renovation Projects based on Residents Participation: Case Study of Busan North Harbor Redevelopment Project (주민참여를 통한 항만형 도시재생사업의 활성화 방안 - 부산 북항재개발사업을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the activation of harbor city renovation projects through analyzing the measures of residents participation and urban marketing, based on case study of Busan North Harbor Redevelopment Project. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, according to questionnaire survey, public opinion surveys, citizen advisory committees are more effective as the methods collecting residents' opinion. Especially, residents' opinion is most important on the stage of deciding final alternative. Secondly, according to questionnaire survey about urban marketing, respondents prefer local government as a main agent of urban marketing. They prefer improving urban infrastructures as a main issue of urban marketing. They also prefer enhancing positive image of havor city and promoting the city for foreign tourists, as effective measures of urban marketing. As a result, activation of harbor city renovation projects will be activated through the residents participation and urban marketing, because those may stimulate creative and distinctive development ideas.

  • This paper is to suggest a concrete way about imperiled domestic hot spring tourism and then provide some ideas to solve the problems related to public health promotion, aging society. In this paper, the author proposes the healthy tourism formation to solve such above problems. The author also proposes Asan Hot spring areas as the most healthy places for tourists. Therefore, this paper introduces that Asan Hot Spring Areas will contribute to the economic development in Korea. There will contribute to improve the nation's image and produce much more benefits by hot spring resources develop of the A-San springs area.

  • 삶의 터전이 부족한 자연환경을 극복하기 위해 인간은 쓸모없는 땅을 개척하고, 다리를 놓고, 둑을 막는 등 끊임없이 노력함으로써 좀더 풍요로운 삶으로 발전시켜왔다. 그 중 호수나 바닷가에 제방을 쌓고 육지를 만드는 간척은 좁은 땅덩어리를 넓힘으로써 삶의 터전을 좀더 확대시킬 수 있다. 우리나라는 삼면이 바다로 둘러싸여 있고 특히 서해안과 남해안은 리아스식 해안에 갯벌이 발달하여 간척에 유리하다. 간척은 삼국시대부터 그 흔적을 찾을 수 있고 조선시대까지는 작은 갯고랑이나 해변을 막는 정도였으나 일제 강점기 때 주로 군량미 조달 등을 목적으로 본격적인 간척이 이루어졌다. 해방 후에도 간척은 계속되었고 1980년대 이후 중장비가 등장하면서 수천 미터의 제방 길이와 거대한 물목을 틀어막는 대규모 공사로 발전하였다. 근대의 간척사업이 군량미 확보와 미곡 증산 중심이었다면 최근의 간척사업은 생태환경 복원, 관광 등 다목적 용도로 쓰임새가 변화하는 추세이다. 서해안에서는 지금 국토를 넓히는 역사적인 사업이자 최대 규모의 국책사업인 간척사업이 한창 진행 중이다. 중국 동해안을 중심으로 한국과 일본 큐슈를 잇는 환황해권이 세계 최대 경제로 떠오를 것으로 예상됨에 따라 정부가 환황해권의 주도권을 잡기 위해 새만금개발사업을 적극 추진하고 있다. 세계 최장 33km의 방조제와 $401km^2$의 땅을 매립하여 농업 산업단지, 복합도시, 21세기 동북아 관광레저의 허브 등 다용도로 활용하기 위함이다. 본지는 바닷내음 물씬 풍기는 광활한 새만금 벌판에서 새만금집단에너지시설 건설공사를 시공 중인 (주)정호이앤씨(대표 최호선) 양석동 현장소장과 원도급 업체인 두산중공업 용환윤 소장을 만났다.

  • In accordance with changes in life style, people's desire to eat out is getting changed in their preferring factors from whether they can buy food they want to eat fast and easily to mood of the dining space, content and quality of service, hygiene condition of restaurant, quiet location and surrounding circumstance, and discount coupon and price destruction. In addition, consumers who begin to recognize the seriousness of environmental pollution prefer health-oriented food. On the other hand, excessive presence of competitors, growing personnel expense, increasing expenditure in accordance with swelling price of rent and material expenditure, increase of tax burden, decrease of income because of credit card service charge and high expected level by consumers make it difficult for restaurant's owners to manage restaurant business. Therefore, this study purposes to establish development of menu from the consumer's and the supplier's point of view and propose how to develop menu aiming at convenience, health and diversity.

  • Recognizing user services as one of the most important and essential part in the public library, this study focuses on seeking for innovative ideas for the improvement of user services. Data analyses is based on the written survey submitted by public libraries throughout the nation. Questions related with user services are analyzed. and some influential factors in relation with the selection of superior libraries are compared with those of public libraries as a whole. Active library services for the users are revealed as the most important factor to be included in superior library group.
