An Investigation on the Problem in the Names and Explanations of Cave Formations (공개동굴 지형지물의 명칭 및 설명문에 대한 문제점 고찰)

  • All types of tourists visit the cave. The names and explanations of cave formations give very useful information to them. Unfortunately, however, there are a lot of wrong and incorrect statements in the information. Thispaper has investigated this problem in considerations for the importance of information delivery. The problem has turned out as follows: 1) Most of the cave formation names are too abstract based on the shape instead of scientific names; 2) The names are mostly available with little scientific explanation; 3) In case of explanation, wrong, incorrect and controversial statement is found.

  • "Tourist Gaze" discussion in the 21st century introduces that tourist is the post-modern and post-fordism figure. Festival visitors can be said as one of the post-modern tourists, so this figure has "performance turn" feature as well. It will be discussed here why festival visitors of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival want to visit the festival. As post-modern and post-fordism figure, festival visitors want to experience autonomy, competence and relationshjp based on the performance turn.

  • Cruise industry in the world has been one of the most prosperous industries for the past 30 years and thus its effect is classified by both economic side incurred from its own tourism industry directly and indirectly, and another economic one from development of related-industries such as shipbuilding, heavy industries, and so on. Under these circumstances, it is evaluated that Korea will have good circumstances of activating the highly value-added cruise industries. In order to do it, this country will have to meet as follows: the significant investment in cruise infrastructure, the organization of North-East Asia cruise council, the building-up of cooperation between government and private, the improvement of cruise-related law and institution, the simplification of entry procedure for cruise tourists, the active development and public relation of cruise tourism industry, and so on.

  • The goal of our research is to develop a smart location-based self guided lour assistant as a context-aware real world application. As a context-aware tourist guide application, we hove been developing a PDA-based location-aware tourist guide application for the old palace Deoksugung in the center of Seoul. It will guide visitors to the palace with information about: current location, attractions nearby, and details about specific buildings. Rich multimedia support has been incorporated into the system to provide extra features to enhance the self-guided tour.

목포항 연안여객터미널 이용자 만족도 분석

  • 목포항은 과거부터 서남권 도서를 연결하는 여객선 교통의 충추적인 역할을 담당해왔다. 최근 국민의 삶의 질 향상과 여가시간 증가로 섬을 찾는 관광객이 증가하고 있다. 이에 목포항 연안여객터미널의 이용객 만족도를 조사하여 어떤 시설, 서비스를 중요하게 여기고 있는지 조사, 분석하였다. 그 결과 다양한 연령층이 목포항 연안여객터미널을 이용하고 있었으며, 그 가운데 20대와 50대의 이용객이 많았다. 연안여객터미널 접근성은 좋다고 했으나 타 교통수단에 비해 다소 비싸게 느끼고 있었다. 연안여객터미널 시설의 중요도와 만족도에 있어서 매표소 시설, 대기실 공간, 화장실 여건은 중요하다고 인식하고 있었고 목포항 연안여객터미널의 만족도도 대체로 높았다. 그러나 상업시설과 주차장은 중요하게 인식하고 있었으나 만족도는 낮게 나타나 이에 대한 보완이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 연안여객선의 운영서비스에 있어서는 운항간격, 출항시간 준수, 운항 소요시간 준수, 편의시설 관리, 안전관리 수준, 이용서비스 대비 운임, 차도선 이용 편의성에 있어서 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 이 연구는 향후 목포항 연안여객터미널 운영에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 의료관광은 관광객의 체류기간이 길고 소비지출이 크기 때문에 21세기의 새로운 고부가가치 산업으로 인식되고 있다. 이미 인도,태국,싱가포르 등은 의료관광산업을 국가전략산업으로 지정하여 연간 수십만명의 해외의료관광객이 찾아 높은 수익을 얻고 있다. 또한 정보기술을 활용하여 온라인 상담을 통한 치료상담, 항공,숙박 예약등을 지원하는 시스템을 갖추고 있다. 우리나라는 의료관광 발전의 가능성이 높고 IT강국이라 알려져 있음에도 불구하고 의료관광 운영을 위한 IT솔루션이 거의 전무한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 최근 국가의 고부가가치 산업으로 인식되고 있는 의료관광에 IT정보기술을 활용한 의료관광 정보시스템 개발을 위하여 요구분석을 하고 이에 필요한 시스템 구성요소를 제안한다.

부산남항 재창조를 위한 수변공간계획

  • 부산남항은 부산도심의 중심지에 위치한 연안항으로서 지난 1세기동안 수산업, 수리조선업을 토대로 성장해왔다. 하지만 항만기능의 축소, 항만시설 노후화, 수변과의 단절. 주변지역 침체 등으로 항만에 대한 부정적 인식이 증가하고 남항을 둘러싼 주변 여건이 급격하게 변하며 지역사회를 중심으로 부산남항의 기능재편 및 공간개선에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있는 실정이다. 남항에 대한 부정적인 인식을 변화시키고 새로운 가치를 창출하는 매력적인 공간으로 변모시키기 위해서는 항만이 차지하던 수변을 친수공간을 비롯한 다목적 도시공간으로 재개발하여 시민과 관광객을 위한 열린 공간으로 재창조해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 수변공간, 수변경관, 수변활용을 종합적으로 고려하여 부산남항의 재창조를 위한 수변공간계획안을 제시하였다.

  • This study identifies the relationship between selection value, existence value, heritage value, pride, and show on satisfaction, and suggests cultural marketing and cultural policy suggestions for Jikji cultural assets to activate Jikji as tourism cultural assets. Was intended. Therefore, the implications of this study are as follows. First, Jikji cultural property officials should develop tourism products that can mix Jikji cultural properties with the image and attractiveness of Jikji cultural properties. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to education and public relations by city and county in providing local information, prices, and services for tourists to increase the satisfaction of tourists. Second, Jikji cultural property officials should suggest ways to create differentiating elements from tourism of other cultural properties. By emphasizing the existence, the existence value of Jikji cultural property should be increased. Third, Jikji cultural property officials should emphasize that Jikji tourism is more valuable as cultural heritage than now, and develop unique killer contents that can be boasted to others in tourism and present it to tourists. Fourth, Jikji cultural property officials should prepare a plan for local residents to recognize how excellent cultural heritage is. It should also be recognized that Jikji cultural property has high added value as a tourist factor. Lastly, Jikji cultural property officials should promote various jikji projects to local residents and tourists to increase their pride and awareness that Jikji cultural property exists in a certain area.

The Examination of the Validity of a Vertically Upward Shifting of the Landscape Control Point(LCP) for the Management of Cities Mountain Landscape (시가지내 산악경관관리를 위한 조망점의 수직상향 동의 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop effective destination management strategies for three typical tourist destinations in Kangwon province based on the importance-performance analysis. The results show that overall performance levels of 21 management attributes in three destinations is relatively low, compared to the importance levels of the attributes. 6 attributes place in Concentrate Here, 4 attributes in Possible Overkill, 6 attributes in Keep Up Good Work, and 5 attributes in Low Priority. There is no significant difference in the importance level among three destinations, while performance levels are the lowest at Naksan & Kyungpo beaches, and highest at Ganhyun area. Findings of the survey expect to be used as fundamentals in management policy making process for each destinations.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine whether the motivation for visiting experiential tourism can be maximized by revitalization of domestic tourism according to tourist image and visit satisfaction. In order to achieve this purpose, the four factors of educational motive, experiential motive, cultural motive, and communion motive of experiential tourists who visited domestic experiential tourist destinations, as well as the image of tourist destination, and suggestions for revitalizing domestic tourism through visit satisfaction were proposed. Therefore, the implications of this study are as follows. First, theoretical significance can be found by establishing the concept of domestic experience tourists' visit motives, image of tourist destinations and results related to visit satisfaction in the COVID-19 according to this study. It suggests that it is an essential condition for promoting a new change in which tourists participate in experiential tourism motives in the era of the pandemic by providing experiential tourism programs that are tailored to the level of tourists through research on the image of tourist destinations and their satisfaction with their visit motives. are giving Second, in terms of experiential tourism programs operated by domestic experiential tourism companies, it should be possible to promote the image of a safe tourist destination utilizing the characteristics of untact services that can provide non-face-to-face services. In addition, in an environment where visits to experiential tourism activities are somewhat limited in the era of the pandemic corona, it will help to revitalize domestic tourism and the local economy by expanding the non-face-to-face service to discover and develop direct experience programs in the region.
