  • As the establishment of self-identity is based on 'Relationships of Mutual Beneficence,' the formation of 'Relationships of Mutual Beneficence' is the only road to the security and confirmation of self-existence. But given that our ordinary life almost entirely consists of actions objectifying others, the formation of 'Relationships of Mutual Beneficence' is by no means easy. The formation of 'Relationships of Mutual Beneficence' should be based on morality, controlling self-desire, and not objectifying others. Philosophy based on a priori reasoning describes self-control over selfdesire as the domination of the body through a priori reasoning. But this practical philosophy cannot present a self-evidential internal motivation behind moral actions. Due to this, the application of moral order given by a priori reasoning in response to reality is likely to be reinterpreted on basis of self-interest. With regards to this, the 'propensity towards sympathy' is given as new moral norm. The 'propensity towards sympathy' as emotion is direct and consistent given that feeling occurs prior to thinking. The 'propensity towards sympathy' is intuitive in the sense that it is an instinctual response preceeding a reasoned judgment. The 'propensity towards sympathy,' as a natural moral emotion, is self-validating given that all human beings know it and practice it. But previous studies on the 'propensity towards sympathy' have an obvious limitation because they adopt phenomenological approaches to the 'propensity towards sympathy' which eschew the investigation of morality. Though they present the 'propensity towards sympathy' as a natural emotion based on body rather than reason, they do not philosophically explain the 'propensity towards sympathy.' Thus the 'propensity towards sympathy' as a natural moral emotion is likely to be interpreted as a subjective and relative moral norm. This paper philosophically explains that the 'propensity towards sympathy' is a universal moral norm on the basis of Merleau-Ponty's 'flesh.' 'Flesh' is formed as the entanglement between oneself and others and presents the 'propensity towards sympathy' as its philosophical basis. In other words, 'flesh' formed as the mixture or entanglement between oneself and others is the material foundation upon which one can activate the 'propensity towards sympathy.' This paper's approach to the 'propensity of sympathy' can be desribed as a phenomenological approach to the 'propensity towards sympathy' as a universal moral norm.

  • This study has been conducted to verify the applicability of FT-NIR (Fourier Transform Near Infrared) to prove coidentity between market agrochemical products and registered prescriptions. The spectrum correlations were investigated on 83 registered samples and there market products, 23 products which had same formulation and active ingredients and 68 products which had different active ingredients. In 83 samples/products, the primary differentiated spectrum correlation values were 95.86~100%, which mean that all samples qualified over 95% threshold. In 23 products which had same active ingredients and formulations, correlation values were 29.09~99.83%. 3 products over 99.0% were proved to have same active/inert ingredients and formulations although they're from different manufacturers. The rest products except the 3 items were under 95%. In 68 products had different active ingredients, correlation values varied from 2.00% to 93.70%. Higher correlation is supposed to come from similarity of inert ingredients despite different active ingredients. They can be decided to unqualify under 95% threshold. So applicability of FT-NIR has been verified on qualitative distinction of coidentity between registered market agrochemicals.

  • This study is a descriptive research to identify the relationship among violence experience, resilience and job stress of nurses working in emergency department. The subjects of this study were 143 nurses with over one year working in emergency departments of 6 hospitals located in D city and C city and collected data through structured questionnaire. It was from November 6th to November 15th. The degree of violent experience of the subjects was 1.26 ± 1.31 out of 4. The average score of resillience was 2.50 ± 0.55 out of 4. The average score of job stress was 3.62 ± 0.49 out of 5. The result of correlation between violence experience, resilience and job stress, among the sub factors, in the correlation among violence experience and job stress sub factors, verbal violence experience was significantly positively correlated with nursing work(r=.194, p=.010), role conflict stress(r=.158, p=.030), and physical threat experience was positively correlated with nursing work(r=.200, p=.008), role conflict(r=.162, p=.027), and conflict with doctor(r=.145, p=.042). In the correlation between resilience and job stress sub factors, nursing work stress is hardness(r=-.189, p=.012), persistence(r=-.165, p=.025), and optimism (r=-.186, p=.013) and there was a negative correlation with the region. Expertise stress is hardness(r=-.230, p=.003), persistence(r=-.195, p=.010), optimistic(r=-.194, p=.010) and there was a negative correlation. Nurse-treated stress was positively correlated with spirituality(r=.154, p=.033). In the subcategory correlations of resilience and violent experience, the hardness had a negative correlation with the physical threat(r=-.150, p=.037) experience. The persistence was negatively correlated with the experience of physical threats(r=-.138, p=.050). The optimism was negatively correlated with the experience of physical violence(r=-.151, p=.036). As a result, it is necessary to create a safe working environment free from violence and to reinforce training on how to deal with violence in order to reduce the job stress of emergency department nurses. In addition, measures to cope with stress according to age and work experience and programs to increase resilience should be developed and mediated to reduce the job stress of emergency department nurses.

  • This study is conducted to investigate the relationships among service quality, satisfaction, and revisit intention of franchise snack bars customers located in Busan. The quality of franchise Korean snack bars' service was estimated by examining three sub-dimensions: service environment factors, interaction factors, and outcome quality factors, which are classified from Brady & Cronin's third-dimensional model. The survey was performed from March 9th to March 13th in 2015. Total 300 questionnaires were distributed and 272 questionnaires were employed for final analysis. SPSS 21.0 program was used to derive the following: factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation, simple regression and multiple regression analysis. In results, the approachableness such as convenience for access was the most important reason when people choose a franchise Korean snack bar company followed by food taste and reasonable price. In addition, the results indicate that service environment quality, interaction quality, and outcome quality have all positive impact on the customers' satisfaction as well as revisit intention. Specifically, outcome quality have the greatest influence on the satisfaction and revisit intention among three service quality factors. This outcome proves that Korean snack bar franchise companies need to investigate more to improve their outcome quality such as food quality and serving time to satisfy customers. In conclusion, current study confirmed the relationships among service quality, satisfaction, and revisit intention in context of franchise snack bar stores. These results will suggest the snack bar foodservice segmentation as valuable marketing strategic, and that it can be utilized as a fundamental data to establish an efficient business plan in the industry.
