Analysis of the Causal Relationship of Perspectives of Balanced Scorecard for SCM (균형성과표의 네 관점에 대한 인과관계 분석 : SCM 추진기업들의 경영성과를 중심으로)

  • This study constructs a causal relationship model of balance scorecard(BSC) performance in supply chain management(SCM). According to the results, the sample companies show the causal relationship of learning and growth performance, internal process performance, customer performance, and financial Performance indices in SCM. And this study implies that BSC performance indices gives, through direct causal relations among them, impact on the ultimate financial performance of firms.

The influence of perceived benefits and risks on the relational outcomes in strategically partnered firms (전략적 제휴 당사자 간의 이익 및 위험지각이 관계적 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of strategic partnership can be positive or negative. This paper intends to explain why the partnership produces opposite results. This paper incorporates strategic behavioral direction and perceived values for relational performance. The conceptual model as well as empirical analysis was made and the results are as follows. First, this study uses bi-directional decomposition of two research constructs. The first construct of perceived values is classified into benefits and risks. Also, the behavioral directions are either active or passive behaviors. The critical path is found that the perceived benefits make significant effects on active behavioral direction which does on commitment. Another path is that the perceived risks make passive behavioral direction which results in opportunistic behaviors between strategically partnered firms.

Comparative Analysis on the Relationships between the Centralities in Co-authorship Networks and Research Performance Considering the Number of Co-authors (공저자 수를 고려한 공저 네트워크 중심성과 연구성과의 연관성 분석)

  • We analyzed the relationships between the co-authorship network centralities and the research performance indicators with the authors and the number of citations of the papers published for 10 years in Korean library and information science journals. In particular, the research performance indicators were calculated with normal counting and with fractional counting also. As a result of correlation analysis between the variables by setting the different ranges of the author groups to be analyzed according to the number of articles, it was possible to explain the inconsistent results of the previous studies on the correlations between the researchers' citation indicators and their co-authorship network centralities. Overall, the degree of co-authorship activities measured by collaboration coefficient showed no or negatively correlated with research performance. There were statistically significant positive correlations between the centralities and the research performance indicators, but the correlation was not significant in the analysis of the top 30 authors by number of articles.

The Effect of Information Sharing and Capability-trust between A Buyer and Its Supplier on the Buyer's Relationship Performance (구매자-공급자 간의 정보공유와 공급자에 대한 역량신뢰가 관계성과에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we intended to find out how to improve the relationship performance between a hospital who is a buyer and its suppliers in the medical supply chain. For specific, in control of the transaction period and the number of bed, we investigated the effect of information sharing between a buyer and its suppliers along with the trust for the suppliers' capabilities perceived by the buyer on the buyer's relationship performance. In addition, in control of the transaction period and the number of bed, we also examined the influences of moderating effect of the interactional justice on the relations between information sharing and relationship performance, and between capability-trust and relationship performance. For this, we conducted reliability analysis, exploratory/confirmatory factor analyses, discriminant validity analysis, and moderated multiple regression analysis including control variables. Our results showed that there are positive effects of information sharing between a buyer and suppliers, and the buyer's perceived trust for the suppliers' capability on the relationship performance while controlling the transaction period and the number of bed. Besides, we empirically confirmed that there was the moderating effect of the interactional justice on the relations between capability-trust and relationship performance, whereas we could not find that statistically significant moderating effect of the interactional justice on the relations between information sharing and relationship performance.

The Strategic Aliances and Corporation valuation (전략적 제휴와 기업의 단기성과)

  • 본 연구는 전략적 제휴가 단기적으로 기업가치에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가에 관한 실증적 연구이다. 본 연구의 단기적인 성과 결과는 선행연구와 유사하게 나타났다. 즉, 윈도우 (-20, +20) 사이의 표본에 대한 실증적 연구결과, 시장모형과 시장조정모형 모두 전략적 제휴라는 이벤트 발생 시에 비정상수익률과 누적비정상수익률이 발생한다는 사실을 발견하였다. 이러한 사실은 한국의 제휴기업들도, 제휴로 인하여 기업의 효율성이 증대되어 기업가치가 상승한다는 시너지 가설이 적용된다는 사실을 발견하였다. 단기성과에 영향을 미치는 특성요인과의 관계를 조사하기 위해서 회귀분석을 해 본 결과, 총자본수익률(ROI)과 LQHC(토빈의 Q비율이 낮고 사내잉여금수준이 높은 기업은 1의 값, 그 외는 0을 가지는 가변수)가 통계적으로 유의한 변수로 나타났다. 두 변수 모두 단기성과와 부(-)의 관계를 보였다. 총자본수익률이 부(-)의 관계를 보인 것은 Das, Sen, 그리고 Sengupta(1998)의 연구결과와 유사하게 나타났다. 즉, 수익성과 단기적인 기업가치와의 관계가 부(-)의 관계를 보이는 것은 수익성이 낮은 기업일수록 제휴에 대한 일반 투자자의 기대가 크다고 해석할 수 있다. LQHC변수가 단기성과와 부(-)의 상관관계를 보이는 것은 투자기회가 낮고 사내잉여금수준이 높은 기업은 단기성과와 부(-)의 관계를 의미한다. 결론적으로 기업이 전략적 제휴를 맺음으로 해서 기업가치에는 단기적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 결과는 새로운 경영흐름의 하나인 제휴를 통하여 기업의 경영효율을 높일 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

Predicting Co-Authorship based on Link analytics and learning (링크 분석 및 학습을 통한 공동연구성과 기반 공저자 관계 예측)

  • This study proposes a methodology for predicting co-authorship of contributors to a highly anticipated paper through link analysis and learning, taking into account the result of collaborative research. Previous studies predict the co-authorship with high accuracy, but this shows limitations in that the quality of the predicted relationship is not considered. Therefore, to solve the above problem, we propose three steps to predict the co-authorship that will help with the expected performance: (1) Construct a heterogeneous graph to measure results of collaborative research. (2) Analyze and learn links based on results of collaborative research. (3) Predict links that are anticipated to have high expectation. It is expected to be useful for increasing confidence in the predicted co-authorship.

  • The objective of this study is to verify effects of employees' cognition of their job characteristics in production department of manufacturing companies on production performance and also to verify the moderating effect of the characteristics of managerial accounting information in the relationship between job characteristics and productivity. To achieve this purpose, this study divides the factors of job characteristics into task diversity, task significance, autonomy, and task identity and production performance into flexibility, time, and quality. The results of this study are as follows. First, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to employees' cognition of their job characteristics. Second, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to the characteristics of managerial accounting information.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the centrality and the research performance by conducting the social network analysis for the social science journal in the last 10 years. As a result of the relationship analysis, the correlation between centrality and research productivity was highly correlated in most groups, but the impact factor and frequency of citations were not significant. In relation with the comprehensive research such as a H-index, middle productive group correlation was more significant than the upper productive group.

  • So far, several researchers have studied the relationship between research and development investment and firm performance; however, most have focused on linear relationships. Thus, previous studies remain fragmented and show mixed results. This study examined the moderating effect of political ties in the relationship between R&D investment and firm performance. We tested the hypotheses based on extensive 20-year data on enterprises, from 1998 through 2017, as the research period. The study is expected to contribute to explaining the mixed results of the research between research and development investment and firm performance.

A Study on the Non-linear Relationship between Asymmetric Interdependence and Conflict (불균형적 상호의존성과 갈등간 비선형적 관계에 대한 연구)

  • As interdependence and conflict are important to the understanding of channel interactions, many researchers have studied their relationship. Identifying the relationship between interdependence and conflict will help understanding an exchange relationship. In social science, the relationship between interdependence and conflict is explained by two contradictory theories, and there are also inconsistent results in marketing science. The authors suggest non-linear relations between asymmetric interdependence and conflict, based on bilateral deterrence theory and conflict spiral theory. Using survey data from industrial market, we demonstrate that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between asymmetric interdependence and interfirm conflict. The result show, as the magnitude of interdependence is high. the hypothesis on the non-linear relationship between asymmetric interdependence and conflicts is acceptable on both suppliers and distributors. Finally, we discuss several theoretical implications and suggest limitations and future research issues.
