A Study of Relationship between Relational Embeddedness of Supply Chain and Financial Performance (공급사슬의 관계적 내재성과 재무적 성과와의 관계)

  • This study investigate the relationship between embeddedness of supply chain on supply chain performance. The development of research model is based on network embeddedness that the literature of strategic management and sociology. To examine the research model and hypotheses, we have used an empirical method based on field survey in which most of measurements used and verified in previous studies are selected as measurements. The data from survey was analyzed using Partial Least Squares(PLS). The result from empirical model suggest as follow; First, relational embeddedness of supply chain effects on supply chain performance. Especially, reciprocal dependance affects interfirm relation performance. Also trust and tie strength of relational embeddedness affects interfirm relation performance. Second, interfirm relation performance affects financial performance.

동물병원이 시장지향성과 공급업체와의 관계지향성이 동물병원 성과에 미치는 영향

  • 본 연구는 동물병원 산업에서 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동과 동물병원의 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 사업성과/재무적 및 비재무적에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 체계적으로 분석하고, 동물병원 경영자의 특성 (경영자의 근속연수)과 동물병원의 사업입지가 이들 영향관계에서 어떠한 조절역할을 하는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동은 동물병원의 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과 모두에 유의적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동은 동물병원 경영자의 근속연수에 따라 사업성과에 유의적인 영향을 미치나, 동물병원의 입지에 따른 동물병원의 시장지향성은 동물병원의 사업성과 유의적인 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 동물병원의 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동은 동물병원의 재무적 성과 및 비재무적 성과에 대부분 정의 방향으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 동물병원 경영자의 근속연수에 따라 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구에서, 경영자가 4년 이상 장기간 근속한 경우 관계지향성 활동이 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과에 정의 방향으로 영향을 미치지 않았고 비재무적 성과에는 비교적 약하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 동물병원의 사업입지에 따라 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구결과에서, 비 수도권에서 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 재무적 및 비재무적 성과에 매우 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 수도권에서는 관계지형성활동이 재무적 및 비재무적 성과에 모두 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 요약하면, 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동과 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 재무적 및 비재무적 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 전반적인 연구에서, 시장지향성은 동물병원의 사업성과에 일관되게 영향을 미치지만, 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동은 경영자의 근속기간 및 사업입지에 따라 사업성과에 다른 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 동물병원 경영자의 근속연수나 사업입지에 따라 동물병원의 사업전략을 선택적으로 접목해야 함을 알 수 있다. 마지막으로 연구결과에 따른 시사점, 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향에 대해 논의를 하였다.

Study on influence factors of Relational Learning and Relational Performance - Focusing on Export/Impart Enterprises - (기업의 관계학습 영향요인과 관계성과에 관한 연구 - 수출/내수기업의 성과비교를 중심으로 -)

  • The rapid changing technology and globalization allow consumers get information and new products or services faster, have more choices than before, which might be causing more competitive and more uncertain demand. The relationship quality between enterprises positively influence the relational performance. Through this research, enterprises should realize the importance of relationship learning to improve the competitive advantage. Also this research provide the strategic solutions to promote the relationship learning. this is considered to be able to present an improved directionality of the relationship between the buyer and the supplier. In addition, from the perspective of policy, this research provides implications for large enterprises and SMEs to promote their coexistence relation. The empirical model of this paper is established on basis of previous research. The empirical results show that: first, as the influence factors, relation solidarity level, environmental uncertainty, learning intension affect relationship learning, whilst special transaction assets influence information shared and relationship memory and have no effect on mutual understanding; second, relationship learning influence on relational performance and this influence relation becomes stronger if the relationship trust is higher.

  • Firms can make scale of economy and scope of economy by internalizing and using new advanced technology and knowledge from technology cooperation network, decrease risk and cost with partner firm of technology cooperation network, and increase market advantage of product & strengthen firms' position in the market. Due to the advantages of technology cooperation network, the related studies have focused on the positive effect of technology cooperation network. However, the related studies investigating the relationship between technology cooperation network and firm performance have only examined the role of technology cooperation network. Safeguarding mechanism, relationship learning, and relationship performance are categorized into the process of technology cooperation network, and this categorization is applied as resources, capability, and performance by resource based view. The empirical results are reported as belows. First, relationship specific investment and relationship capital positively affect on relationship learning as capability. Second, information sharing, common information understanding, and relationship specific memory development positively affect on long-term orientation, but information sharing has no impact on efficiency and effectiveness. Third, relationship specific investment positively affects on relationship capital and efficiency and effectiveness have positive effects on long-term orientation. Applying technology cooperation network in asymmetric technology dependency with resource based theory, this study suggested the importance of both safeguarding and relationship learning by investigating the relationship among safeguarding, relationship learning, and relationship performance. And it is worthy that this study investigated how firms' behavior change affects relationship performance in the relationship of technology cooperation partner.

  • Issues of how firms form collaborative inter-firm alliances, how they nurture the alliance relationships as meaningful ones, and how they evolve and manage collaborations in turbulent market environments deserve increasing research attention. To contribute to filling this void, this study conceptualizes an alliance orientation as a firm's capabilities to help achieve an advantageous alliance performance to its rivals and based on this concept, demonstrates specific process for a successful alliance performance. First, this study empirically explores the influence of a new construct, alliance orientation, on firms' alliance performance. Second, the concept of alliance creativity as a positional mediation variable between alliance orientation and market performance is explained and then empirically explored. Third, alliance performance as a mediator between alliance orientation and market performance is presented and then is empirically reviewed.

The Effects of Transaction Cost Factors on Cooperative Relationship Lasting Factors, Degree of Relationship Satisfaction, and Performance (거래비용요소가 협력관계 지속요인, 관계만족도, 경영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper investigate how transaction cost factors affect organizational performance both directly and indirectly, through cooperative relationship lasting factors and degree of relationship satisfaction. The results can be summarized as follows: First, asset uncertainty directly influenced financial and non-financial performance. Also asset specificity and opportunism did not influence financial and non financial performance directly. Second cooperative relationship lasting factors were connected with transaction cost factors direct variables on cooperative relationship lasting factors are asset specificity and uncertainty, but opportunism did not directly influence. Third, degree of relationship satisfaction were connected with transaction cost factors direct variables on degree of relationship satisfaction are asset specificity and opportunism, but uncertainty had not affected degree of relationship satisfaction. Fourth, cooperative relationship lasting factors and degree of relation satisfaction had affected financial performance and non financial performance. In summary, this study find that transaction cost factors had indirectly influenced organizational performance through mediated variables such as cooperative relationship lasting factors and degree of relationship satisfaction.

A study on the relationship between performance factors and individual performance evaluation results (성과요인과 개인성과 평가결과의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • This study divided employee performance factors into individual, organizational, and institutional factors, and empirically analyzed their relationship with performance evaluation results. Based on the final 417 samples, the results using the SPSS and AMOS are summarized as follows. Among the performance factors, job satisfaction and a fair performance system showed a significant positive (+) relationship with the individual performance evaluation results, and it was difficult to find a clear correlation with stable interpersonal relationships. Job satisfaction (β= 0.432, t= 7.375***) had the greatest impact, followed by a fair performance system (β= 0.127, t= 2.406*). This can be said to be the case where the cause of performance is satisfaction with the job and the recognition that the organization's performance system is fair. However, it was found that stable interpersonal relationships, that is, interpersonal relationships that have smooth relationships with other people and are accompanied by psychological stability, are not a performance factor. Based on the empirical analysis results, a discussion on performance factors, implications of this study, and future research directions are presented.

The Effect of Coaching Leadership on Resilience, Interpersonal Competence and Job Performance (코칭리더십이 회복탄력성, 대인관계능력 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the effect of coaching leadership on resilience, interpersonal competence, and job performance, and identifies whether resilience and interpersonal competence mediate the relationship between coaching leadership and job performance. For this purpose, the data were collected for 240 nurses at U University Hospital in Ulsan City. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used to analyze the statistical data and the validity of the this study. The results of this study showed as follows. First, coaching leadership has significantly affected resilience, interpersonal competence and job performance. Second, resilience has significantly affected interpersonal competence and job performance. Third, interpersonal competence have significantly affected job performance. Fourth, resilience and interpersonal competence had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between coaching leadership and job performance. Based on this study, we discussed the important rule of coaching leadership, resilience, interpersonal competence to improve job performance.

연구개발 집약도에 따른 개방형 혁신과 기업성과간의 관계 연구

  • Chesbrough는 개방형 혁신이 촉진될수록 기업의 성과가 높아진다고 밝힌 바 있다. (Chesbrough 2006). 그리고 Laursen 외 (2006)는 영국 제조업 분석에서 기술집약도와 개방형 혁신의 폭이 역U형의 관계가 있다고 실증분석을 통해서 밝힌 바 있다. 그리고 윤진효 외(2008)도 한국의 성서 및 구미 클러스터 기업들을 대상으로 한 개방형 혁신과 성과간의 관계 실증분석에서 일반적으로 개방형 혁신이 커질수록 기업성과가 향상된다고 밝힌 바 있다. 그런데 Laursen 외 (2006)의 Working paper나 윤진효 외(2008) 모두 OECD 등의 기준에 의해 기업의 개방형 혁신과 성과간의 관계가 첨단산업과 비첨단산업별로 상이하게 나타나고 있음을 밝힌 바 있다. 본 연구는 부정확한 산업분류를 정교화하여 연구개발 집약도별로 기업군을 나누고 동 군별로 개방형 혁신과 기업성과간의 관계를 한국 기업들을 대상으로 실증 분석하고자 한다. 가설검증을 통해서 연구개발 집약도에 따라, 개방형 혁신과 기업성과간의 관계를 규명하고 기업의 개방형 기술혁신 전략을 제시하고자 한다.

The Effects of Individuality, Relatedness on Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction in New Employees (신입사원의 개별성과 관계성이 조직몰입 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This research is about the effects of individuality, relatedness on organizational commitment and job satisfaction. This research analyzed 140 new employees. We used four tools to assess the new employees: individuality scale, relatedness scale, organizational commitment scale and job satisfaction scale. The research was based on two questions. Question 1. Does individuality have any relation to job satisfaction and organizational commitment? Question 2. does relatedness have any relation to job satisfaction and organizational commitment? The results indicated a positive correlation between individuality and organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Results also showed a positive correlation between relatedness and organizational commitment and job satisfaction. According to the result of one way analysis of variance, the group which scored individuality and relatedness scoreabove the mean value best reflected the qualities of organizational commitment and job satisfaction.
