  • The purpose of this study is to understand how wearable computing devices are designed and how to design them in a technology based wearable device design research. Research is premised on the consideration of producers and consumers. There is wearable computer of eyeglasses, watches, clothes, and so on. The user can always wear these products comfort and use as part of the body without any sense of discomfort, and the goal is to supplement or double the ability of the human being. It should be easy to use them convenient, wear comfortable, safe and sociable at any time. For the satisfaction these conditions, the wearable computing devices have several factors. There are technical performances, visual aesthetics, Human body system and devices communication and safety. Furthermore, these factors have to match to operating system, real-time operating system and applied software. To comprehend wearable computing devices should be offered the design of the both software and hardware designed.

  • Service elements are added to the product to improve the company it its sales and innovation. The servitization process could take many different routes reflecting various properties of the manufacturing firm and its business contexts. Product-service systems (PSS) design method developed at Sungkyunkwan Universty, Service Design Institute, has been applied to a small furniture manufacturing company to demonstrate the utility of the method and to devise improvements. First, the business context of the company has been analyzed and key values have been identified. A co-creative session has been conducted to develop initial service concepts to drive those key values. The diverse positioning of those service concepts on the scale of service supporting product and service support customer is then developed to plan servitization phases. The specific service concepts are about company-customer relationship building as well as customization and personalization in this case. Initial service concepts are detailed with service blueprint so that prototyping and customer experience evaluation can be done. Business models in different servitization phases are designed. Further prototyping and customer experience evaluation has been done with business strategy improvements. In this paper, the proudct-service systems design method has been reviewed and the specific and real processes of the servitization using design will be described with discussion on the improvement of the method and the enhancement of the business.

  • This paper aims to approach a spatial furniture for sedentary lifestyle which been has derived and evolved from Korea's traditional 'Ondol' heating system. In this living culture, people has been staid on the floor where people would sit directly on without furniture such as chair and bed. With every changing technological advances, sedentary life culture is transformed and mixed instead of sedentary habit. Most of people lived in western house such as apartment forms. As time go by, western furnitures were used became widespread. However, during the process, it impossible to acclimate ourselves to the new lifestyle such as chair, bed etc. This leads to users feeling uncomfortable on certain points. The researcher suggests a spatial furniture through a new approach to rest-taking that also intersects the cultures of East and West while resolving the a fore-mentioned issues. The study is conducted as follows. Firstly, issues are discovered through a user's lifestyle to exist usage and interplay of house and furniture. Furthermore, the issues was not a fragmentary thing but more related to a culture and a coustom of long standing. Secondly, a design experiment is conducted to conclude a new form and function that is better fit for the Korean culture where sitting on the floor is the norm. New direction for space that intersects the cultures of the East and West while using modules made convenient for contemporary life is presented. Finally, this study is meaningful in that it reinterprets furniture used for rest within the context of sedentary culture, in order to propose a new direction and value for design that overcomes the boundaries between eastern and western applied to resting space.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate if there are any differences of convention advertising and participation behavior based on the segmented groups of convention advertising attributes. The research methods and contents of this study are as follows. From the literature, the measurement of convention advertising attributes, satisfaction, and participation behavior had been developed and utilized to collect the data. The results of factor analysis showed three underlying dimensions of convention advertising attributes. Cluster analysis showed that there were three different segmented groups such as negative, mediative, and positive groups of convention advertising attributes. Lastly, MANOVA showed that there were differences of convention advertising and participation behavior among the segmented groups. More theoretical and practical implication are discussed in the conclusion.

  • There are some studies to get rid of slice patterns in coronal and sagittal images by FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) and Notch filter. However, the use of a notch filter is the ringing effect according to the rapid frequency change occurs in common. Therefore, this study will be to evaluate the shape and effect of the notch filter. In addition, it is proposed a new notch filter design. Results of the study are as follows. First, Emission-Notch filter was relatively naturally correcting the cutting pattern. Second, Emission-Notch filter to use as Ringing effect is reduced relatively. The next through these findings and further research progress more completely removed the Ringing effect, and expects to reproduce the data close to the actual human body information.

I have analysied on characteristics of Fujian tulou and Yangdong. and compared Fujian tulou's characteristics with traditional characteristics of Yangdong The results of this study are as follows. First, Fujian tulou was built according to the nature, and they have worshipped their anscestor and they are the blood relative community. Second, Yangdong was built according to the nature, too. But Yangdong has been completely reflected the confusianal societies' classes.( ex : yangban and slave ) Yangdong has the characteristics on confusianal community. From the results of this study, I think that further study is needed about non- physical cultural factors which were served to maintain the traditional community like governance, self doctrine and community rules.

  • A series of revolutionary industrial changes took place from the 18th century of the First Industrial Revolution. The fourth industrial revolution is a new industrial revolution in which intelligence and information unite. Social, cultural, economic and educational systems are expected to emerge within the category of access and experience. In the course of intelligent mechanization, manpower and machinery need to be commandeered. Tools should be left to the machine and humans should look at essential issues. In the 4th Industrial Revolution, the paradigm of education should fundamentally change. Instead of routine technologies based on memorization, one should learn how to access and utilize. It needs to focus on areas of debate, cooperation, communication, sensibility, and artistry that robots and artificial intelligence can not afford. The fourth industrial revolution is the fusion of human beings and technology, the humanities and the technology.
