The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of non-pharmacological interventions for Korean adults with insomnia. Literature review was performed for articles published between 2000 and 2016 in electronic databases. Sixteen articles met the inclusion criteria. Data were analyzed by R version 3.3.1 for windows. Meta-analysis was performed using the random effects model; the overall effect size of non-pharmacological interventions on sleep was significantly large (Hedges' g=2.36, 95% CI: 1.44~3.28). For heterogeneity, a moderator analysis was performed using the study design, participants, age group, intervention, presence of hospitalization, and sleep measurement. There was a statistically significant difference between the effects of moderator variables, except for the study design and participants. Of the interventions, auricular acupressure reported to have the largest effect size on sleep. The findings in this study indicate that non-pharmacological interventions have a positive effect on sleep, providing objective evidence to improve sleep in adults with insomnia using effective interventions.

Recently, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Science and ICT are developing the Land Observation Satellite (CAS-500) to meet increased demand for high-resolution satellite images. Expected image products of CAS-500 includes precision orthoimage, Digital Surface Model (DSM), change detection map, etc. The quality of these products is determined based on the geometric accuracy of satellite images. Therefore, it is important to make precision geometric corrections of CAS-500 images to produce high-quality products. Geometric correction requires the Ground Control Point (GCP), which is usually extracted manually using orthoimages and digital map. This requires a lot of time to acquire GCPs. Therefore, it is necessary to automatically extract GCPs and reduce the time required for GCP extraction and orthoimage generation. To this end, the Precision Image Processing (PIP) System was developed for CAS-500 images to minimize user intervention in GCP extraction. This paper explains the products, processing steps and the function modules and Database of the PIP System. The performance of the System in terms of processing speed, is also presented. It is expected that through the developed System, precise orthoimages can be generated from all CAS-500 images over the Korean peninsula promptly. As future studies, we need to extend the System to handle automated orthoimage generation for overseas regions.

Developed countries have already applied variable Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) technologies and have solved many transportation problems. Researchers also expect that ITS solutions can solve the transportation problems of Korean roads, when they are applied to Korean roads. However, since the existing ITS solutions applied in other countries are used for Korean roads without calibration, they will incur unexpected problems and high cost maintenance costs. In this paper, to solve the above problem, we propose the Korean Highway Traffic Analysis tool (KHTA). It not only analyzes all highway information in Korea, but also simulates the ITS algorithm implemented by traffic developers for the Korean highway environment. To test the stability, applicability and efficiency of the KHTA, we developed and analyzed the result of the ramp metering algorithm. The results show that the total travel time was reduced by 5 minutes compared to that without ramp metering, and traffic congestion was decreased. Thus, we confirmed that the KHTA can simulate ITS systems and can analyze the traffic environment in Korean highway. We expect that this tool would be very helpful to develop and analyze ITS systems in Korea.

It is very important to analyze and provide information resources for research output produced in the computer field, the core science of the 4th Industrial Revolution. In this paper, SCI journals cited from domestic journals in the computer field were identified and the citation rankings and their co-citation networks were generated, analyzed, mapped and visualized. For this, the bibliographic and citation index information from 2015 to 2017 in the KSCD were used as the basis data, and the co-citation method and network centrality analysis were used. As a result of this study, the number of citations and the citation ranks of SCI journals and papers cited by korean journals in the computer field were analyzed, and peak time(2 years), half-life(6.6 years), and immediacy citation rate(2.4%) were measured by citation age analysis. As a result of network centrality analysis, Three network centralities(degree, betweenness, closeness) of the cited SCI journals were calculated, and the ranking of journals by each network centrality was measured, and the relationship between the subject classifications of the cited SCI journals was visualized through the mapping of the network.

Recently, policy of the marine advanced countries were switched from the preemption using ocean to post-project development. In this study, we suggest improvement and the pending issues when are deducted to the database of the marine spatial information is constructed over the GIS system for the Korean Marine Spatial Planning (KMSP). More than 250 spatial information in the seas of Korea were processed in order of data collection, GIS transformation, data analysis and processing, data grouping, and space mapping. It's process had some problem occurred to error of coordinate system, digitizing process for lack of the spatial information, performed by overlapping for the original marine spatial information, and so on. Moreover, solution is needed to data processing methods excluding personal information which is necessary when produce the spatial data for analysis of the used marine status and minimized method for different between the spatial information based GIS system and the based real information. Therefore, collection and securing system of lacking marine spatial information is enhanced for marine spatial planning. it is necessary to link and expand marine fisheries survey system. It is needed to the marine spatial planning. The marine spatial planning is required to the evaluation index of marine spatial and detailed marine spatial map. In addition, Marine spatial planning is needed to standard guideline and system of quality management. This standard guideline generate to phase for production, processing, analysis, and utilization. Also, the quality management system improve for the information quality of marine spatial information. Finally, we suggest necessity need for the depths study which is considered as opening extension of the marine spatial information and deduction on application model.
The application of environmental DNA in the domestic ecosystem is also accelerating, but the processing and analysis of the produced data is limited, and doubts are raised about the reliability of the analyzed and produced biological taxa identification data, and the sample medium (target sample, water, air, sediment, Gastric contents, feces, etc.) and quantification and improvement of analysis methods are also needed. Therefore, in order to secure the reliability and accuracy of biodiversity research using the environmental DNA of the domestic ecosystem, it is a process of actively using the database accumulated through ecological taxonomy and undergoing verification procedures, and experts verifying the resolution of the data increased by gene sequence analysis. This is absolutely necessary. Environmental DNA research cannot be solved only by applying molecular biology technology, and interdisciplinary research cooperation such as ecology-taxa identification-genetics-informatics is important to secure the reliability of the produced data, and researchers dealing with various media can approach it together. It is an area in desperate need of an information sharing platform that can do this, and the speed of development will proceed rapidly, and the accumulated data is expected to grow as big data within a few years.

In a closed workplace, the management of the workplace is important because the environmental data at the workplace has a great influence on the safety of workers. Today's industrial sites are transformed into data-based factories that collect and analyze data through sensors in those sites, requiring a management system to ensure safety. In general, a safety management system stores and manages data on a central server associated with a database. Since such management system introduces high possibility of forgery and loss of data, workers often suspect the reliability of the information on the management system. In this paper, we present a worker safety management system based on the EOS blockchain which is considered as third-generation blockchain technology. The developed system consists of a set of smart contracts on the EOS blockchain and 3 decentralized applications associated with the blockchain. According to the roles of users, the worker and manager applications respectively perform the process of initiating or terminating tasks as blockchain transactions. The entire transaction history is distributed and stored in all nodes participating in the blockchain network, so forgery and loss of data is practically impossible. The system administrator application assigns the account rights of workers and managers appropriate for performing the functions, and specifies the safety standards of IoT data for ensuring workplace safety. The IoT data received from sensor platforms in workplaces and the information on initiation, termination or approval of tasks assigned to workers, are explicitly stored and managed in the EOS smart contracts.

In the eLoran system, the Loran Data Channel (LDC) is used to provide precise timing and positioning. The LDC message can be modulated with the Eurofix method, which modulates the transmission time of the 3rd-8th pulse not used for navigation, and the 9th pulse method, which modulates data using the 9th additional pulse after the existing 8 Loran pulses. In this paper, we analyzed the reception performance of the LDC message transmitted from the eLoran transmitter according to the modulation method. The eLoran testbed transmitter in Incheon was set to transmit LDC messages simultaneously with the 9th pulse modulation method and the Eurofix modulation method. Then, the LDC messages stored in the databases of the eLoran differential stations in Incheon and Pyeongtaek were analyzed in terms of the message reception rate according to the modulation method. Using the navigation aid management ship Inseong No. 1, the range of LDC message reception of actual sea users near Incheon Port was also analyzed. The results of this study are expected to be utilized in the full operational capability service after the eLoran pilot service.
IT(Information Technology) has focused on infrastructure-technologies in the past but now focuses on IT service. Many companies strive to save costs and improve IT services. For this reason, they strive to implement a good internalization of ITSM (IT Service Management) by developing ITSM systems based on ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) from the late 2000s. In particular, IT service operations are one of the structure elements of ITIL version 3 and are highly related to the internalization of ITSM. However, in spite-of-the successful implementation of ITSM, the efficiency of IT service management has not improved due to iterative issues. Therefore, this study developed a user-centered training system by defining the iterative issue guidelines and implementing a database. The implemented user-centered training system provided IT service users with regular training services to produce a good solution for iterative issues after connecting the operation part of the ITSM system. Based on the results of this study, we expect that the proposed ITSM system will contribute to efficiently managing IT services by improving the limitations of IT service operation in the ITSM system.
With the recent increase of the interest in IoT in almost all areas of industry, computing technologies have been increasingly applied in human environments such as houses, buildings, cars, and streets; in these IoT environments, speech recognition is being widely accepted as a means of HCI. The existing server-based speech recognition techniques are typically fast and show quite high recognition rates; however, an internet connection is necessary, and complicated server computing is required because a voice is recognized by units of words that are stored in server databases. This paper, as a successive research results of speech recognition algorithms for the Korean phonemic vowel 'ㅏ', 'ㅓ', suggests an implementation of speech recognition algorithms for the Korean phonemic vowel 'ㅣ'. We observed that almost all of the vocal waveform patterns for 'ㅣ' are unique and different when compared with the patterns of the 'ㅏ' and 'ㅓ' waveforms. In this paper we propose specific waveform patterns for the Korean vowel 'ㅣ' and the corresponding recognition algorithms. We also presents experiment results showing that, by adding neural-network learning to our algorithm, the voice recognition success rate for the vowel 'ㅣ' can be increased. As a result we observed that 90% or more of the vocal expressions of the vowel 'ㅣ' can be successfully recognized when our algorithms are used.
