  • The experiment was made to investigate concentrations of $CO_2\;and\;O_2$ in the removal of astringency of persimmon fruits and to study the changes of total, reducing sugar and hardness during the removal of astringency. 1. During the removal of astringency of persimmon fruits, channel of tannin content showed the rapid decrease in high concentration of $CO_2$ and the gradual decrease in low concentration of $CO_2$. 2. Concentration of oxygen did not show effect on the removal of astringency at high concentration of $CO_2$ but at low concentration of $CO_2$ in Chungdo-Bansi. 3. Optimal concentration of the removal of astringency was $60{\sim}70%,\;CO_2$ and $6{\sim}8%\;O_2$ in Chungdo-Bansi and Sagoksi 4. In changes of sugar content total sugar was decreased and reducing sugar was increased.

Fruit Quality of 1-Methylcyclopropene Treated 'Formosa' Plum on the Shelf Life at Ambient Temperature (1-Methylcyclopropene이 'Formosa' 자두의 품질과 유통기간 연장)

  • The effects of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) for controlling ripening processes such as weight loss, fruit softening, soluble solids content (SSC), titratable acidity (TA), and fruit skin color were investigated and also the possibility that 1-MCP can inhibit the development of brown rot was explored in 'Formosa' plum ($Prunus$ $domestica$ L.). Fruit were treated with $1{\mu}L{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 1-MCP on the day of harvest and one day after harvest for 16 h at ambient temperature ($20^{\circ}C$), followed by 14 days of shelf life. 1-MCP treatment delayed fruit softening, weight loss and changes in skin color and TA during the shelf life period, but did not affect SSC. These 1-MCP effects were similar with and without delayed treatment. 1-MCP treatment inhibited the development of brown rot caused by $Monilinia$ $laxa$ during storage. Our data shows that treatment delays of ${\geq}1$ day before 1-MCP application had no negative effect of fruit softening, fruit skin color, and TA at ambient temperature ($20^{\circ}C$). Overall, these results indicate that 1-MCP can be used to maintain the quality of non-refrigerated plums.

  • This study was carried out to determine the effect of fruit-set position and number of fruit set per plant on yield and quality including netting in "Super VIP" melon cultivated in spring season. 1) In training system of one fruit per plant, index of netting was acceptable, regardless of the node position of fruit-set. The higher node order of fruit set was, the heavier, longer, bigger in diameter the fruit set was, and the thicker the flesh was. However, soluble suger content and storability was decreased with increased node order. 2) In training system of two fruit per plant, the higher the fruit-set position in node order was, the better the netting index, fruit quality including fruit weight, length, diameter, and thickness of flesh were, but there was no difference in storability. 3) Fruits produced by one-fruit-per-plant training were superior to those produced by two-fruit-per-plant training in maker quality including netting, sugar content, stcrability. The fruit set on 12th node in one-fruit-per-plant training were the best in market quality. 4) Yield was increased by two-fruit-per-plant training.

Effect of Planting Distance on Quality and Productivity in Staking Cultivation of Squash(Cucurbita maxima) under Rain-shielding Condition (단호박 입체재배시 재식거리가 품질 및 생산성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to determine the optimum planting distance under rain-shielding condition for improving quality and productivity of squash by staking cultivation. The squashes were grown by 3 planting distances, such as 120${\times}$30, 120${\times}$40 and 120${\times}$50 cm during 3 months under non heat condition. The vine length, fresh weight and leaf area were reduced as planting distance was decreased until main branch was pinching. The first female flowering day and first fruit setting nodes were not different among treatments. The first fruit length and second fruit weight were increased in 120${\times}$50 cm planting distance, but the soluble solid contents were not different among treatments. In 120${\times}$30 cm plant distance, total yield was highest (6,510 kg/10a), but marketable yie이 was lowest. When the planting distance was between 120${\times}$40 cm and 120${\times}$50 cm, the marketable rate was similar (over 98%), but marketable yield was highest in 120${\times}$40 cm planting distance (5,012 kg/10a). The results of this study indicated that the optimum planting distance of staking cultivation in squash seemed to be 120${\times}$40cm.

Effect of Pruning on the Yield and Fruit Quality of 'Godongsi' Persimmon (전정처리가 감나무 '고동시'의 수확량과 과실품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to obtain basic data on high-quality fruit production and efficient cultivation of persimmon cultivar "Godongsi". In the second year of pruning, the number of fruits per tree according to the number of fruit-bearing mother shoots (300, 400, 500, and 700 [control] treatments) was 676.3, 786.0, 866.7, and 1238.7, respectively. Persimmon cultivar "Godongsi" had a decrease in number of fruits per tree and increase in fruit weight as the pruning intensity increased. The average fruit weight in the 300 treatment group was 212.2 g, which was 1.5 times heavier than that in the control. For a high-quality dried persimmon processing, the rate of grade L fruits (170 g<x≤200 g) and over according to the number of fruit-bearing mother shoots was 86.9%, 48.6%, 33.5%, and 8.1%, respectively. The fruit grade of the pruned treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control. Based on the selling price of dried persimmon, the production amount was significantly higher in the 300 treatment than that in the control. When there were many fruits per tree, there was a decrease in quality and increase in cost of harvesting and processing. In conclusion, pruning is essential to increase the fruit quality (fruit weight and grade) of persimmon cultivar "Godongsi". Moreover, the suitable number of fruit-bearing mother shoots was 300.

  • 이동 물체 검출 및 추적은 과중한 연산량에 의해 초당 처리할 수 있는 프레임의 수가 적게 되거나 정합 과정이 단순하여 추적을 실패하는 문제점들이 있다. 본 논문에서는 동영상내에서 이동 물체를 검출하고 추적하는 새로운 접근 방법을 제안한다. 입력된 영상으로부터 배경과 물체를 분리하기 위해 background subtraction을 이용하였고, 분리된 물체들은 이진 연결 요소 분석을 통하여 세그먼트 된다. 그리고 물체의 추적을 위하여 Kalman filter를 사용하였다. 본 논문의 실험에서는 야외에서 촬영한 비디오 시퀀스를 이용하였으며, 물체 검출 및 추적이 조명 변화, 그림자에도 잘 적응함을 증명하였다.

묵시적 가격협정 카르텔 규제에 있어서 경제적 증거의 역할

  • 우리나라의 현실여건을 감안해본다면, 묵시적 가격협정 카르텔의 존재 입증에 있어서 경제적 증거의 역할은 상당히 제약적일 수밖에 없음을 알 수 있다. 특히 상고허가제를 실행함으로써 상고심의 대상이 되는 사건의 수를 사전에 제한하고 이에 따라 사건심리에 충분한 시간을 투자할 수 있는 미국 연방대법원과는 달리, 우리나라의 경우 국민의 재판받을 권리를 최대한 보장하기 위하여 대법원이 대부분의 상고사건을 받아들이고 이로 인해 과중한 업무량에 시달리고 있음을 고려한다면, 실무적으로 경제적 증거를 충분히 평가하기란 힘들 것으로 예상된다.

  • 은행 영업점 직원은 창구고객을 응대하는 것이 주업무이나 그 밖의 부수적인 업무에도 많은 시간을 할애하고 있다. 고객의 금전을 취급하는 특성으로 매일 시재의 검사와, 일일결산을 위하여 일일 항목별 보고서를 출력해서 결제를 받아야 하고 주기적으로 본부 부서에 보고서를 작성해서 보내야 한다. 그러나 보고서 관련 업무의 비중이 높아지면 영업점직원의 업무 부담이 과중해서 창구 응대에 소홀해질 우려가 있다. 이에 따라 보고업무의 능률화, 보고 경로의 개선, 온라인 업무의 개발로 영업점 보고서 업무가 재구축되어 관리업무를 최소화하고 고객서비스 업무에 투여할 수 있는 시간을 증대시켜야 한다.

일본석유세제의 개정추진방향

  • 일본석유연맹은 그 동안 산발적으로 석유제세의 철폐, 세부담 경감등을 위한 활동을 전개해 왔으나, 금년 초에 새로 회장으로 취임한 다께우찌 일본석유 사장은 세제개정시에 적극적으로 반영시키기 위해 석유 세제 개정 건의사항을 작성, 각 관련기관에 배포했다. 그 내용의 골자는 석유에 대한 과중한 세금부과로 타에너지와의 경쟁력을 잃고 있으며, 석유에 부과된 세금이 석유정책시행에 사용되기 보다는 도로정비나 대체에너지 재원으로 사용되는 등 본래의 목적과 크게 어긋나고 있다는 점을 지적하는 한편, 1차 에너지산업중에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 석유산업의 체질강화를 위해 이를 시정해 줄 것을 촉구하고 있다. 그 전문을 옮겨 싣는다<편집자주>
