It brought the phenomenon that theatre for young people becomes young writers' first work. The national chaggeuk company of Korea firstly showed the work which can be described as theatre for young people in 2013. It seems to be meaningful to examine how the critical mind of theatre for young people is expressed in changgeuk because its writer and director are all experts on theatre for young people and theatre for young people takes a part among vigorous experiments of changgeuk. This study starts with the premise that it is necessary to examine the meaning and the direction because it's the first theatre for young people. It can have positive review because it highlights the present meaning of tradition which channgeuk has by contemporary questioning and it keeps the identity of channgeuk by making it focused on rhythm despite various musical attempts. However, it seems to be solved that it weakened the possibility of voluntary playgoing by putting distance to audience with emphasis of dramatic aspect and curtail of commentary. As the way to solve this problem, it is suggested to be an effective strategy to set the goal direction and repeat various description.

In statistical methods applied to the quantitative researches, thirty-six percent of the researches used basic statistical techniques, sixty-four percent advanced statistical techniques, and the basic ones were gradually replaced by the advanced ones. Third, most of the studies examined the social facts through relevant documents and statistics, or introduced the theories. So, only 12 studies (7.5%) were based on theories. Finally, the studies on various sociological research topics, qualitative studies, longitudinal studies, studies based on theories, and international cooperative studies, inter-disciplinary or multi-disciplinary studies were suggested for the future.

  • This paper aims at making an assessment about the first year of the Moon Jae-in government. President Moon was elected amid political insecurity over the impeachment of then-president Park Geun-hye. However, the Moon administration settled in fairly smoothly despite no transition period of presidential power. Political and economic stability was soon restored, and the tensions between the US and North Korea over the North's nuclear weapons program were, to some extent, managed along with the agreement of the North-South summit and the US-North Korea summit. Pyeongchang hosted the 2018 winter olympics and paralympics successfully. Moon continued very positive approval ratings of higher than 70%. However, he has something to be desired. His leadership seems to rely heavily on a limited number of close staff in the Blue House, alienating the governing the Minjoo Party of Korea. He should build better relationship with opposition parties particularly given a divided government. Rectification of the lingering negative practices should also produce institutional solutions. Above all, Moon should carefully watch out to prevent scandals over corruption and power abuse around him and his family, which would lead to a precipitous decline of the approval ratings and the abrupt weakening of the leadership.

  • This study takes a critical perspective that current vertical regulatory framework for broadcasting, telecommunications, films and games cannot cope with media development in the age of convergence. Changes in media environment mitigate the uniqueness of terrestrial television causing doubts as to why television contents should be treated more strictly than the rest of media contents. Consensus is being reached that horizontal regulation would be the appropriate regulatory measure for media contents. However, which content should be aligned to what level of regulations have not been fully dealt with. The paper shows that the current regulatory framework which is established according to each delivery platform is no longer valid in convergent media environment. It shows why all content regulation should be applied in platform neutral manner. Then it also suggests both short and long term regulatory changes that need to be made in order to meet the future challenges in media convergence era.

  • The aim of this study is to see how bamboo paintings developed and what is the iconographical meaning of them through bamboo Ti-hua-shi(poems on paintings) found in Sheng-Hua-Ji, a leading compilation of Ti-hua-shi(poems on paintings) of Song Dynasty. Bamboo paintings give shapes in a simpler and more direct way in drawing, which means bamboo paintings reveal concretely more characteristics of Ti-hua-shi (poems on paintings). Bamboo paintings, which flourished during Northern Song Dynasty, often had the image of the dragon, specially a lying dragon or a winding dragon, which suggests a great man in obscurity. Snow-laden bamboos were also a symbol of a great man, very wise man in Confucian tradition. This shows Confucian ideal examples were embodied through bamboo paintings. Another aspect of bamboo paintings is that bamboo paintings were regarded as a means of self-expression, which identified Confucian sadaebu (scholar-officials) who advocated simplicity and austerity in their life. Contrary to professional painters, who added color and decoration to their paintings, Confucian scholars of Song Dynasty reduced color and embellishment in their bamboo paintings in black-and-white to reveal their own identity, focusing on spirituality rather than the image itself. Therefore, drawing and appreciating bamboo paintings were highly respectable pastime among the literati of Song Dynasty. In short, Bamboo paintings in Song Dynasty were not only a Confucian symbol of a wise and virtuous man but also reflected the taste of Song sadaebu class who thought of bamboo as a symbol for moral and cultural responsibility of Confucian society.

  • In the 21st century, Our Korean churches should be reborn and truly restored in the situation korean churches have been criticized socially and adversely affected Christian missions. In this situation, the researcher analyzed the Zeraim(Agriculture) of the Jewish scripture Talmud as an alternative to solving the problems of the Korean church. In order to achieve the purpose of this research, the background of the emergence of Talmud, the main contents of Talmud Zeraim, and the application of Talmud Zeraim's Christian education were divided and analyzed. Through the Jewish Talmud Zeraim, five possibilities of application were suggested to solve the problems of Korean churches. First, it is a Christian education for a blessed life. Second, it is a Christian education that pursues social justice, life, and integrity of creation. Third, it is Christian education for a life that appreciates God's grace. Fourth, it is a Christian education for realizing the commandments and practicing the teachings. Fifth, it is a Christian education that pursues conventional spirituality. Researchers believe that the mission and direction of Christian education without losing their identity and faith under the numerous hardships in history should be found in the faith and life of Jews who have regained their traditional spirituality centered on the law (Torah) and Talmud which are the God's words. From now on, the Korean church should boldly clear up its mistakes and move on to education that humbly accepts the sounds of social criticism and can make a fresh recovery.

  • Demographic changes such as an aging and low fertility, as well as changes in industrial structure and residential environment, revealed the limitations of urban development policies. Accordingly, the government is making efforts to ensure a prosperous life for the people by including the plan to expand the living SOC in the national urban regeneration policy. The main priority tasks of the Living SOC include the establishment of welfare infrastructure for children and the vulnerable. This means that interest in welfare is increasing recently. In this study, we analyzed the supply status of welfare facilities for the senior, child and the disabled in 17 cities and provinces nationwide using LQ (Location Quotient). After analyzing the causes of the imbalance in the supply of welfare facilities by region, the improvement plan was suggested. Each welfare facility was highly localized by region, especially the accessibility gap between cities and provinces is very large. Welfare finances were similar in most cities and provinces, with the exception of some cities and provinces. In the case of cities with very high living standards, sufficient facilities were not provided. Improvement methods are as follows; Combination of welfare facilities that can maximize space efficiency, Securing appropriate welfare finance in consideration of living standards by city and province, Differentiation of supply method considering demand and user types for welfare facilities.
