본 연구에서는 클라우드 서비스 확산에 필요한 유틸리티 컴퓨팅의 과금체계에 대해 살펴보았다. 클라우드 컴퓨팅에서 요구하는 조건들을 만족하는 과금정책을 제시한 후, 다양한 과금정책들을 비교 평가할 수 있는 지표로 작업 서비스 품질 만족도와 클러스터 수익성을 제시한다.

통신 시장의 경쟁 심화, 급속한 기술 발전은 All-IP 기반의 공통 인프라와 다양한 고품질 융합 서비스의 환경으로 패러다임을 변화시키고 있으며, 이러한 변화에 따라 IP 서비스에 대한 과금 체계 또한 진화하고 있다. 본 고에서는 그 중요성이 증대하고 있는IP 서비스의 과금 시스템에 대하여 개념과 기술 동향, 관련 표준화 활동을 살펴보고, 차세대 네트워크(BcN)를 대비한 과금 정책에 대하여 기술한다. 그리고 이와 같은 기술동향 및 과금 정책을 효과적으로 구현하기 위해 ETRI에서 개발중인 고속회선용 정밀과금 시스템을 소개한다.

최근 국내 게임 시장이 12조원을 육박하고 있는 시장 현황에서 게임 매출 부분에서 게임내 어떤 과금정책을 적용할 것인지가 가장 중요한 요소이다. 시중에 출시된 게임 중에서는 P2W 모델이 접하기 쉬운 모델이긴 하지만 최근에는 B2P 모델을 많이 적용하고 있는 과금정책이다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 게임 내 P2W의 과금 모델과 B2P의 과금 모델의 선호도를 조사한다. 그리고 본 논문에서 새롭게 명명한 T2H 모델의 선호도를 조사하여 어떠한 과금 모델이 게임시장에서 더 유리하고 선호도가 높은 모델인지를 제시한다.

PSTN에서의 과금은 해당 서비스에 대한 착신 지역 및 사용 시간(period)과 서비스 시간대에 국한된 것이었고, N-ISDN에서는 패킷 처리에 따른 데이타량이 추가되었다. 광대역 종합 통신망에서는 ATM Traffic이 가지는 다양한 서비스들의 특성에 맞게 요금을 산정하기 위해 과금 방식의 유연성, 과금 처리의 신속성과 정확성이 요구된다. 과금은 교환기 자원의 이용에 대한 use rate를 부가하는 것으로 초기 망구축 시에는 ATM Mind확장을 위해 망 운용자의 정책적인 결정에 의해 부가될 것이며, 그 이후 서비스에 대한 반대급부와 서비스 원가주의에 의해 결정될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 광대역 종합 통신망에서 권고된 프로토콜 중 과금에 관련된 요소를 제시한다.

2017년 상반기 우리 게임 시장의 특징 중 하나가 중국산 모바일 게임의 국내 흥행이라 할 만 하다. 3월 경만 해도 중국 게임사들이 카카오 등 국내 유통 업체 등을 통해 시장에 들어왔다면 7월 이후 우리 시장을 포함한 구글 플레이 마켓에서 초강세를 보이는 소녀전선 등은 국내 시장을 노린 한글화 작업 이외에는 중국, 대만, 홍콩 등의 업계가 제작과 배급을 다 담당하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문은 이러한 국내 모바일 게임 시장에서 강세를 보이는 중국 게임을 플레이하는 국내 사용자들이 중국 게임임을 인지하고 있었는지, 또 어떤 면에서 국내 게임보다 더 선호되었는지를 여러 모바일 게임 사이트를 통한 201명의 설문 조사를 통해 밝히고자 하였다. 중국산 게임의 한국 사용자들은 79%가 남성이고 대부분이 20대 이하였으며 미소녀 함선 게임을 주로 하지만 그런 장르적 특성 이외에 소녀성, 판타지성, 선정성이 강화된 일러스트와 한국 게임과는 다른 과금정책 및 운영정책에 높은 점수를 주었음이 드러났다. 더 이상 한국 모바일 게임이 중국 수출품용이 아니라 오히려 우리가 시장을 방어해야 할 단계가 아닌지 심히 우려되는 상황이라 하겠다.

RFID is issued as a core technology for Ubiquitous environment recently. Especially, Mobile RFID which is converged with RFID and wireless internet, provides new services to users, increased added-value to service providers. For commercial service of Mobile RFID, it needs an accounting service. The Diameter Base Protocol, mostly used for authentication, authorization, and accounting service, supports only deferred accounting service. For more variable accounting policy, Diameter Credit-Control Application which is capable of prepayment accounting, also should be considered. In this paper, a new accounting model with Diameter Credit-Control Application for Mobile RFID service is proposed.

Grid accounting model is necessary to support the demand and supply of id resource. Most grid accounting systems currently in use intrude upon site autonomy by modifying local accounting systems or calculate the cost of grid service without regard to site price policy. In this paper we propose and design Grid accounting model based on site price policy. This model assures autonomy of sites participating in gird computing and be able to actively cope with diverse billing services. Also this proposed model enables to provide RUS to Grid entities by transforming basic accounting information into GGF-UR format and allows this entities to exchange resource usage information. In this paper, proposed Grid accounting model enables sites to have autonomy of them and is evaluated for business model to enforce elaborate charging policy, compared with other systems.

Carrier billing services market is growing according to the technical development. This study investigated the limiting factor in carrier billing services and suggested the improvement factor for it using the Delphi Method. The amount money to use in carrier billing charges should be provided in their credit based and the accumulated payment using a text message is displayed and also telecommunications carriers and carrier billing firms are the least responsible for consumer harm. It also provides administrative responsibility for communications carriers and billing services company for non recognition and payment. The service provider to prove negligence not proven by consumer and telecommunications billing service delinquency rate is applied at a rate such as a credit card and it also should integrate retail payment and service fee. This study will contribute to the communication billing services market growth through improved communication billing service. Further research is needed to continue the study of the factors that emerged from communication and billing services due to emerging technologies and services.

초고성능컴퓨터를 활용하여 전통적인 병렬처리 기반의 계산과학을 비롯하여 AI, 빅데이터 등의 ICT 기반 연구를 수행할 수 있어야 한다는 수요가 증가하고 있다. 계산과학 연구의 다양성에 맞춰 컴퓨팅 연구환경을 제공하기 위하여 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)에서는 초고성능컴퓨터를 인프라로 활용하는 HPC 클라우드인 KI(KISTI Intelligent) Cloud를 개발하여 서비스하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 KI Cloud의 과금을 위한 기능의 설계 및 구현 현황을 기술하였다. 가상서버(VM) 기반의 서비스와 컨테이너 기반의 서비스의 사용량을 측정하기 위하여 Prometheus로 CPU의 사용량을 수집하여 과금 정책을 적용하고 있는 KI Cloud의 과금 기능에 대해서 살펴보도록 한다.
